Aaron Glide Self Mover Svc

We all hate moving right? It has to be one of the worst things to go through. Aaron's made the whole process much easier. They showed up on time with all the moving tools, from dollies to furniture blankets, and they were prepared to work hard to make sure we had a successful move. They started with a quick walk through the house to see what we had and then proceeded to carefully pack the truck - making sure everything was well secured. In the end, the truck was tightly packed and nothing broke in the loading, drive to our new place, or the unloading. They even moved a very heavy old upright piano. And all the while, these guys were pleasant to be around. We won't hesitate to recommend Aaron's or hire them again!

Met the guys at my storage unit in downtown Seattle, WA. 3rd floor/elevator access. worked great. one worker loading from unit and the other down at the loading dock-loading the truck. I played the elevator operator which made the operation work at good speed and made the loading easy (for me at least). we stopped at my apartment on the way to the house and loaded heavy items from there to bring to the house. Unloading went smooth as all I did was to direct where the items were to go. I am a single (widow) and felt I was treated with honest and friendly service. I had to cancel the job the day before as i did not get the keys to the house that day--with no problem with the delay from Aaron Glide (Elaine/Chris). I thank them for their help in this move.

They were on time and got everything carefully loaded in the truck in no time. It was the same when we were unloading, they were really fast and professional. overall the service was great.

They actually came under price which was great. Fantastic work. Everybody was friendly, polite and no problems working with them. They worked h****** a hot day too.

Aaron Glide's 4 man crew (John, Lonnie, Keenan, Ron) picked up my rented truck 24ft from Handy Andy the morning of our move and came to our "old" (2 bedroom) house to load it. They moved everything to our new house - AND took another trip to our storage unit to move all its contents. They did all of this in about 8.5/hours. They were careful, quick, friendly - and we really appreciated that they not only dealt w/the truck pickup/dropoff - they also supply any blankets, dollys, plastic wrap needed for the furniture. This is the 2nd time we've used them - and we would again.

This is the 4th time we've used this company over the last 12 years for moving our household items. They are simply fantastic and well worth the money spent for their services. All items are handled with care and attention is also given to keeping your walls and other items free of dings and damage. These guys are pros in what they do. Punctual, polite and very efficient. I will use them again on our next move!

The actual move went smooth. I confirmed with time with Aaron Glide movers and contacted the mover day of the move. We met at the self-storage unit, because I preferred the experts drive the rental truck. The move went smoothly, and the movers made it look all too easy. The whole job took 2 hours and the total cost is $294. When it comes time for me to move into my new townhouse - I'm going to contact Aaron Glide again. I would recommend them.

Arranging the service with owner Chris was very simple and all the services requested were delivered. Lonnie and John arrive about 15 minutes late but they explained they had to stop and pick up extra supplies. For the first several hours, they meticulously packed my kitchen items, wrapped my valuable artwork and lamps so that they were safe and would be damage free. The final hours were spent moving all moved my entire household of items out to the 16 ft storage pod, organized and staged my belongings for proper placement and loading. Lonnie is a master at loading so that items are secure and snug. Not a single item was damaged coming out of my three-story townhome. I was extremely happy with the work and outcome of my day with Lonnie and John. I extended to them a very generous gratuity.

I rented a truck and met the crew at our house on time at 9:30 sharp. Most of our belongings were packed in boxes but we have alot of antique furniture which the crew took special precautions with. The crew took our beds apart and reassembled them at the new house. We took two trips because of the amount of furniture we had to move so it was a long day for all concerned. I appreciated the guys hard work and dedication to getting us moved in one day. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to get moved as long as they are willing to rent a truck themselves and save themselves alot of money. We really cannot recommend them any higher.

In short, Keenan and Ron performed an excellent job. They were professional and very pleasant. Since we had to divide our belongings to 3 different categories: short time storage, mid term storage and long term storage. My husband and I marked the packages with 3 different colored stickers. Keenan and Ron quickly understood out intent and acted accordingly. My husband and I strongly recommend Keenan and Ron. However, we suggest that you may want to pick up the truck by yourself and meet them at your house or wherever appropriate. This way you can save some money.

I coordinated the move with Chris, the owner. We were moving from a 2 bed/1 bath house to a 4 bed/2 bath house. He gave me a phone estimate based on a furniture inventory list I'd prepared. He estimated 4-6 hours for a 2-man crew (8-12 man hours). We were apprehensive about getting our own truck, but Chris promised they would bring all necessary equipment and the cost savings he was offering as compared to the 4 other bids I received were enough to offset the price of the truck and our apprehension. The move went off wonderfully. Lonnie and David (crew) arrived on time at the house we were moving into and arranged the furntiture that we'd purchased from the seller first. They were careful, diligent, quick and fun to be around, which was nice because moving is stressful! After this, we drove to the house we were moving out of and they loaded everything. Lonnie and David were doing such a great job that we asked them to help with more than we'd originally planned and we still ended up within budget. These guys are great, careful, quick and strong. I recommend them without reservation. The added "chore" of obtaining our own moving truck was so totally worth it. *Lonnie and David were GREAT!*

It was a great experience from calling Chris to finishing unloading. The movers (John, Lonnie, and Ryan) were punctual, energetic, fast, and professional. They arrived on time and worked non-stop until the job was complete. We have a number of very heavy items and they handled them with care. The piano was also moved professionally. We will definitely refer them to our friends.

What can I say...simply fantastic. I read many reviews before deciding on going with Aaron Glide and they did not disappoint. The two guys showed up on time and ready to get to work. They quickly emptied our 2 bedroom 3 story townhome. I will refer any of my friends or family that are in need of moving help.

This company was fantastic! Starting with Elaine, the receptionist who was so kind and helped so much. Next, the owner Chris who put the entire move together saving me time and money where he could. And then the movers, Lonnie, John and Rick. Great guys, worked so hard and were so efficient. I highly reccommend them and would definitely use them again. .

I hired Aaron Glide for moving labor. Overall, I do recommend them. There was a slight misunderstanding that they would be at my condo by 1pm (calling me at noon for an exact time). However, at noon I was told that they wouldn't be able to be there until 3:30pm. I only had my truck until 5:30pm, so I had to return the truck (since we wouldn't be able to get it all done in 2 hours). As a solution, they provided a truck for free and were very accomodating after I explained that I had scheduled my move for them to be there around 1pm. So, my only recommendation would be to schedule for to schedule as their first move of the day, if you are on a time schedule. If booking in the afternoon, be sure to have flexibility in your time. Again, I would recommend their service.

This was my thrid time using Aaron Glide Movers, and as usual, they were excellent! The owner, Chris, was very helpful when I called to schedule and helped me figure out what size truck we would need. We had a half day move from a two bedroom, 2nd floor apartment with an average amount of furniture, the bulkiest being a couch, queen bed, easy chairs and dresser, then all the misc. boxes that go along with a move. The movers, John and Lonny, were punctual, friendly, got to work immediatley and worked h****** a very hot day. They provided all the tools they'd need for the move.... dollies, pads, and even plastic wrap (for dresser drawers and tv screen protection). The furniture was moved quickly and professionally without any wall dings or scratches and no damage to our belongings. They even picked up and returned the U-Haul I reserved (from a separate company) so I didn't have to. Excellent service at an excellent price. I highly recommend them.

Originally our move was scheduled for 9 am but due to unforeseen circumstances, Aaron Glide called us and said they would be there by 2 PM. Not only did they arrive at 2, they were a few minutes early, which was great. John, Lonnie, and Keenon moved all 1000 square feet of our pod into a 600 square ft apartment in 2 hours. Everything arrived into the apartment in perfect shape. We are so happy with the service and will recommend Aaron Glide to all of our friends and neighbors.

The two workers showed up early, ready to go. We rented the truck, they did all the rest, with direction from us. This was not an easy move. Heavy furniture, exercise & shop equipment in a multi-level location with a spiral staircase in the house. Hot, heavy work.These guys knew what they were doing, but they were also willing to listen and consider our requests and/or concerns. Great job given all the conditions & circumstances.

No don'ts.Dos: Determine in advance: post signs for boxes to facilitate placement; determine if you need protective runners for your floors; if you have self-packed, label boxes/contents clearly & create a comprehensive, easily checked inventory list; provide cold drinks to workers; show appreciation (it goes a LONG way).

It was easy to schedule my move with Aaron Glide. I preferred an afternoon move and was flexible with the exact start time. Good communication prior to the move and the day of regarding the start time as there was a move scheduled before mine. There was confusion as to who was picking up the truck, but the movers, John, Keenan and Tiny, quickly corrected this and picked up the truck. The movers were professional, careful and polite. I was originally quoted a moving price using two movers and three showed up the day of the move. Therefore, the final bill was quite a bit more than I was expecting. As the move was completed in under the minimal time required, Chris quickly reduced the final bill. The move was completed with the three movers more quickly than expected but was more expensive than anticipated.Although there was initial confusion with the moving truck and with the bill, they were immediately corrected and I would definitely recommend and use Aaron Glide in the future.

I found Aaron Glide Movers for my mom's move. They were very accomodating on the phone with me and with my mom. They were on time, very efficient and polite. They even helped my mom take down a heavy piece of art from a wall in her stairwell. I would definitely recommend them. As a note, they did request a review prior to receiving the discount, but they did not request that it be a "good review".

I just had a very strange conversation with this company on the phone. They were condescending, borderline rude and not interested in my business.

very happy with the service. the rate was more affordable than other companies i called. chris did a good job of talking me through the process and details over the phone. when moving day arrived, the crew arrived a few mintues early and got right to work. they hustled throughout the move, hauled some big / heavy items, and with no damage or issues. they even moved my grand piano up 15 steps and made it look easy. a good group of guys. very happy with the service and would use them again.
