Aaron Glide Self Mover Svc

They were very quick. He felt really bad because they had a minimum charge. He did knock $50 off the price because he was on Angie's list and because he just felt bad because I only needed him for 15 minutes. It's great service. The two young men that came were very professional and polite. They wore booties. They took care to make sure that nothing would bump. They were very responsive. He got me scheduled really quickly and they were running late but Chris, the owner called me literally about every 45 minutes to update me as to when I could expect them.

I contacted the owner, Ms Chris Genis, for a crew to help me prep, pack and move locally from Bellevue rental home to an Issaquah apt and to a 10x15 storage unit. I rented a big yellow 22' truck and bought packing materials from a nearby big box hardware store ("H.D."). I rented plastic moving bins and wardrobes from another company. On the first day, Lonnie and Keanan broke down my furniture and gear, then proceeded to stage all the boxes in the garage. We estimate that we had about 5000 lbs of stuff from a 3 br home and stuff in the garage attic. The pair worked expertly together, with Lonnie doing the most challenging packing/prep tasks and Keanan doing the heaviest lifting. These dudes kept going, going, going until it was done! On day 2, Lonnie and Keanan returned (at my request) and a third gentleman joined them to load my family's household belongings onto my 22' yellow rental truck. Lonnie drove the truck for me from the truck rental company (rhymes with "ski"). They hustled and loaded that truck to the brim, including some delicate furniture -- we first went to our new apartment unit then returned for a second trip to the self-storage unit. Unload went smoothly, even at the storage unit where they had to negotiate a freight elevator. Lonnie is an expert at delicately stacking my furniture and boxes into my 10'x20' unit! At end of the two trips, Lonnie returned the truck to the truck rental place in Kent, WA. All I can say is that I'm a veteran of 12 (now 13) local, interstate and international moves. This is the first time that I had a) no damage to *anything* and b) nothing mysteriously "disappeared". Personally, It's been next to impossible finding a competent, motivated, personable and *honest* movers. I think I've finally found one in Aaron Glide. PS -- I was so happy with my household move that I hired Lonnie and Keanan again for help with a one-way self move to California for my brother. And I plan on using them again this September, when we move to our new house!

First the good: The guys that came out to the house, John and Justin, did a good job. They had the right equipment for the work, they moved with urgency, and they where pleasant and professional. They where careful with our furniture and our home. When I changed my mind about a placement they where happy to accomidate. Couldn't have been more pleased with the final result. Then the not great: The intial phone call with the man in the office was pleasant and amusing, but he got my address down wrong. So the guys where a few minutes late and had to call me to get directions. I also thought that he said on the phone that there minimum rate was an hour and a half with a half hour for travel. But it was 3.5 hours. Now, I am pregnant, so baby brain is in affect and it maybe all me on that one. If I had known it was 3.5, I would have gone with another company. The job only took an hour. At the end, the guy informed me that to get the $50 Angies List credit, I had to write a review and it would be refunded to me. I had already planned to do so, but that was never discussed in the intial phone call and seems odd. Over all, they guys who showed up did a wonderful job and we tipped them well. The issues seemed to be from the office. We would consider using them again for a larger job, most likely not for anything small.

I was impressed with Chris from our initial phone call. He was both professional and friendly. He checked twice on what was being moved and where. I also received a reminder/confirmation call of the move date. The movers were John, Lance and Justin. They were efficient, professional and careful with all of my items. They arrived early and finished early. I was only charged for the time needed to make my move. Finally, I appreciated the movers checking with me on where things went and a final walk-thru in case any items needed to be moved/adjusted.

Workmen arrived on time and carefully moved items into rental truck (supplied by customer). Customer then drove rental truck to storage facility. Workmen moved items into customer's storage area. Everything went as planned. Angie's List discount ($50) was applied to bill.

The experience was GREAT! John,Lonnie and Justin arrived on time and ready to work. In addition to a standard move,they did an AMAZING job moving my upright piano from a townhouse to a third floor apartment with switchback staircases. It was a big and challenging job, but the guys came through for me and there wasn't a hint of a scratch or dent on the piano. I was really impressed and pleased with their service, professionalism and skills. The estimate for the job performed was a little lower than what I paid, but it was worth every penny and the $50.00 off coupon was a nice little bonus. The only thing that I would change for the future would be a four man crew rather than a three man crew. I think this would have made the move go quicker and easier for everyone given the size of the job. I will use Aaron Glide again for future moves.

They were prompt and efficient, got the job done and I'd be happy to use them again.

I needed to move from our house to an apartment during a remodel. Chris at Aaron Glide provided me a very competitive price and even though they don't provide the moving truck (you can rent surprisingly inexpensive trucks from U-Haul) I decided to go with them. Chris was very thorough over the phone and also provided a reminder call a few days before the move. The moving team arrived at my front door on the day and time promised and they did simply an excellent job with all the furniture. They were polite, efficient, careful, and asked questions all along the way to make sure what I wanted moved to the garage went to the garage and what I wanted moved to the apartment made it to the apartment. I've unpacked everything and all is here, nothing broken or damaged and no items left behind. It was as smooth as a move could be. I highly recommended Aaron Glide.

They did a great job. They were on time, professional and courteous. They were very careful with all of my items. I live in a 2nd floor apartment and they took great care in removing my items from the apartment and getting them loaded in the truck. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The movers were great.

We had the pleasure of using the gentlemen from Aaron Glide to move us from our apartment and storage unit. John, Lonnie and Keenan were right on time with the truck we had previously arranged for them to pick up. They made quick work of moving the items from the apartment into our new home. They were very careful to cover our brand new carpet and stair bannisters. They quickly and efficiently moved everything into the new home and then went on to tackle the storage unit where the bulk of our belongings were located. They were very efficient in the packing of the truck and moving everything from storage into our home and the garage. They put our beds back together for us, moved things around for us when we asked and were just all around great guys to work with during our move. I would highly recommend Aaron Glide and would definitely use their services again.our

As good as the first time, and every other time we've used their services. We don't often find companies as good as Aaron Glide Moving and as before we would hire them again in a heartbeat if we were to ever move again (not soon, though!). These guys are professional, they know what they are doing, they will shrink wrap your furniture to keep it from marring in transit, they pack everything in movers blankets, they work efficiently and carefully, and they are polite and always show up on time. Consistently one of the best companies we've ever dealt with in any line of work - they are that good!

Guys moved me into a 3 level house with tons of stairs. They worked very hard and fast

I liked that they gave great information and great advice. They worked hard. They are efficient, and there were no damages.

It went great , I am very organized so I had everything ready to go but they would have helped me pack if I needed it. Because I was prepared it minimized the time they had to spend preparing things but when they did they did it respectively and effeciently to minimize my cost and insure the quality care of my belongings that all fit in a 26' truck which I rented as part of the agreement. I could not have been happier

John and Dave showed up right on time and did a great job. They were very pleasant to work with and it went off without any problems.

After having my moving services canceled at the last minute, I had to scramble and find another solution for my move to California. Based on Angie reviews, I called Aaron Glide Movers and Chris was able to accomodate me. His team was on time and worked very efficiently filling an entire 27' ABF trailer. Once everything didn't fit, they estimated a truck size for me and came the next day to load the remaining items. Chris was also able to refer me to a packing company that also did a great job.

The day went very well, the Aaron Glide team showed up right on time and got to work. I'd ask for help in packing the kitchen and living room, and they did a nice job of wrapping and protecting everything. Both of the workers were attentive and professional, and worked hard through the entire process of packing, loading, and unloading at the destination. I would use them again!

They performed the service as requested, in the time promised, at the agreed upon price, without damage to themselves or the property. Very happy customer.

My wife and I hired Aaron Glide Movers based upon their stellar Angie's List reviews. We didn't have any references to go on, called them up and from the get go they performed beyond my expectations, which are high. We recently purchased a new home and used Aaron Glide to move belongings from 2 condos and 1 storage unit, 4 stops total. They picked up and also dropped off rental truck for us. They showed up on time (early, with the truck door open ready to go!), were extremely careful with some very delicate furniture, worked hard and just all around good guys. I highly recommend Lonnie, Keenan, John, Ryan and Aaron Glide.

This is the first time I have hired help in moving my items. Because the home to be staged was newly remodeled and in Medina, I wanted assistance. Lonnie and Keenan were skilled, knowledgeable and quite professional. I will use this company again in the future.

Aaron's team (2 guys) showed up on time and got to work immediately. They worked hard and efficiently and loaded the 24 ft truck I had rented to the gills. At the destination address they unloaded everything making sure to ask where we wanted everything placed. At the end of the move they asked if there were any final adjustments that we wanted to the placement of any of the heavy furniture. Great company. I will definitely be recommending to family and friends.
