A&A Electric

I called A&A to repair a light fixture that quit working after another electrical contractor did some wiring work in the same area (and denied having anything to do with the break). A&A fixed the issue quickly, and while they were onsite, I asked them to complete several other small projects - installing 2 new light fixtures and installing a dimmer switch. In my 1940s house, they discovered a couple of missing junction boxes and A&A built them and completed the work competently and professionally. Although they charge a premium, they clearly know what they're doing and after having a bad experience with another provider, I will happily pay for their services again in the future.

This is the second time we've used Alex. Again they were punctual, professional and worked hard to finish in the time frame estimated and stayed within the estimated cost. In this project there was a lot of up and down into our hot and cramped attic space for drilling of holes for fixtures and wires and they did their best to find the best possible solution with the least amount of disruption to finished areas. We will definitely call them first for all our electrical needs.

Was bit complicated because fuse and breakers are not accurately labeled. Alex was very thorough and cool throughout the exploratory phase. Very tidy work. We are very pleased with the result.

Alex was very professional and super nice. He showed me an issue with one of the fixtures and explained my options clearly, and made sure it was installed to my liking. He also showed me how to change the lights in the hood so I can do it myself in the future, no gave me the little tool to use. He was really fast too, I thought he wouldn't get through everything in the 2 hours, but at the end I was adding a couple more things on because he had time.

The technician was excellent. On time and did an exceptional job.

I was incredibly IMPRESSED with the service provided by Alex & his crew (Jason & Steve). They were conscientious, competent, efficient, reliable, responsible, & pleasant---all of my favorite attributes in a provider. The owner worked side-by-side with his crew and followed up on any concerns that I had after the job was finished. At the time of the electrical inspection by the city, Alex was there to show what was done and needless to say, we passed with flying colors! I have no hesitation in recommending A & A Electric to other Angie's list customers as well as to my family & friends. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Everything was fine. They were on time, and fixed the problem. The guy was fast, neat and proficient. I would use them again in the future.

They were an A plus all the way. They were efficient, professional and prompt. He was great and the price was great.

It went well. Alex and his guys showed up on time and worked efficiently and steadily. They were happy to answer my questions. Alex in particular was very knowledgable, asked appropriate questions about goals, and made good suggestions. He was happy to do add-ons beyond what he estimated at a reasonable price. He is an easy guy to work with. When parts had to be ordered, Alex got the order in and came back with them promptly when they arrived. I definitely would ask him to work with me again.

It went well! He was able to come earlier than scheduled, and worked quickly to assess the problem. He was friendly, and an experienced electrician. I had purchased a deal of $200 for 2 hours, and paid only materials of $45 in addition to the deal.

Great, I called Alex and he was at my home within 15 mins.

They had someone in training and wanted me pay the hourly rate for the trainee. It seemed a little expensive to me. I decided to not go with this deal.

Everything went great, very satisfied.

Alex responded to our call overnight, only one of two electricians to do so when we must have called at least 8 or so when we lost power in our kitchen. And the best part was he could help us right away. His team came out and resolved the issue but also alerted him/us that there were other serious electrical issues. Alex came and confirmed, and took the time to explain what needed to be done for safety and what it would cost. He was able to schedule the work right away - we ended up having to install 3 new circuits and we had his team clean up the electrical in the attic in preparation for installing insulation. In addition, we had a few other small tasks (adding a switch in the storage room, replacing a switch with a dimmer, etc.) and everything was completed to high standards and took even longer than expected but they covered them gratis. We are most impressed with Alex's attention to detail - he noticed that we had temporary connections that needed replacing and took the time to explain what that means, including how to contact Seattle City Light for help. Alex and team were professional, took good care of our floors and surroundings when doing the work, and were polite and always kept us updated on progress. They are now our go-to for all electrical work!

Had a pretty big project I needed to accomplish which included relocating electric panel box, replacing some existing nob and tube,and roughing in a kitchen and bath. The bid came in at $9600, which seemed like an awful lot of money. I shopped around and found an electrician to do all of it and more for $3700. Shop around folks. There are plenty of electricians out there who are willing to do the work for a fair and honest price. In response to A&A's comments: The company I used was indeed licensed and insured, and his workmanship was impeccable. ALL work was done with a permit. They also have a A+ rating with the BBB. Again, just saying, shop around. I did and paid $6000 less than I would have with A&A

Everything went fine. They were very prompt, explained things well, they were timely in their work and the work was very well done.

It turned out excellent. It was very good.

I purchased a $200 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and he did a good job. I may have had him do a little more because I lined him up with a couple of projects that took him longer than the Big Deal time period. I think I paid a little more than that, but it was definitely a good deal.

Alex showed up on time and completed the work faster than expected. Overall I am very pleased and would have A&A come out again to perform electrical work.

A&A Electric did an outstanding job on our electrical work. They were extremely professional and completed the work quickly. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

It seems Seattle is in another boom where contractors are so busy they don't feel they need to provide good customer service again.
