A&A Electric

They are pretty good. They showed up on time. They gave me all of the information. If they had questions, they contacted me. They didn't make their own decisions. Everything was great, there was nothing bad. They were very polite and nice. They were very professional. I would recommend them. I got several quotes and their price was reasonable. Every aspect of the project was perfect.

I am very pleased lights are no longer on 24/7 . It was a miserable rainy day. Work wasn't rescheduled.

Arrived on time, with all of the necessary tools and worked until the jobs were completed. It would have been nice to have the concrete mess cleaned up, but Alex was exhausted after all of the drilling. Jason took the time to research our outdoor issues and repair them so we won't have problems in the future. It pays to hire honest professionals.

Alex is so off the scale on every parameter. He is extremely kind and professional. He absolutely knows what he is doing. He inspires confidence. It was a total and complete pleasure working wtih Alex and his scheduler, JoJean. Both of them were so good about communicating. As a homeowner, It is so good to feel like an electrician on such a major job knows what they are doing. Alex is thoughtful, quiet and oh so competent.

I called on Monday and received a voice message they would return my call in 48 hours. On Wednesday, not having received a call, I sent an email saying that failing to respond would result in a bad rating. Never, ever heard from them.

Jason and John were prompt @ 8:30AM the next morning and they quickly started working on replacing the panel. By the time I came back from work at 3:30PM, the power and heat were turned back on! I was incredibly pleased by the efficiency and professionalism of Alex's entire team.

Replaced service panel, meter base and mast, all very successful. We've used Alex several times in the past, always friendly, informative and professional service. Only issue might be that he's not much of a carpenter which of course is to be expected since he's an excellent electrician, so if he's doing work that involves house siding or special interior finishes be sure to coordinate with someone who can do those things. His service is always prompt, timely and complete, when we do a new kitchen he'll be on board.

Electrician Dion showed up in the service window. Spent 2-3 hours trouble shooting. He could not fixed the problem and had to move on to his next appointment. Told me the office would call me later to set up another time to come back. A couple days later I called the office as I had not been contacted, I left a message and they have not called several days since leaving the message.

Alex came out to give an estimate. After my first call, they were quick to schedule a consult and easy to work with. I got two quotes, both of which were comparable, but I chose A&A because they made some additional comments about installing a breaker on a circuit that the other company did not explicitly mention. A guy from TaskRabbit thought that it would cost $500 to get the outlet put it, but it was only $200, which seemed reasonable to me. It didn't take long to schedule the appointment. Jason did the labor. He was good natured, on time, and everything works great! He put the minimum number of holes in my wall and cleaned up after himself. The admin, JoJean, who handles scheduling and invoices is also quite nice. 100% would recommend to anyone.

Working with A&A was a great experience. This was a rather large and some what complicated job, and Alex, the owner of the company came out and did the bid himself. His price was very competitive. The bids were close, but after examining the reviews, I decided to go with A&A. I am very glad that I did. The other bids said that it would take at least two, maybe three days. Alex and his crew did the job in one rather long day, so that my tenant's would not have to go a night without electricity. The final bill was actually a little less that the bid!! As the owner of several rental properties, I'm always a bit nervous about building inspections, and relieved when a project passes the inspection. There was nothing to worry about here. The first thing that the inspector said when he looked at the work was " This guy really knows what he is doing!" It passed with flying colors!! Needless to say, A&A will get first shot at all of my future electrical jobs!!

We were happy w/ the work, price and punctuality. We had a few other people come look at it but felt most comfortable w/ A&A electric.

He installed a bathroom light/fan for me after trying to talk me out of it. I already had a bathroom light/fan but it was in an alcove above the toilet that didn't do a good job of sucking out steam from the shower. After convincing him I DID want it installed he put it in although it required cutting a lot of drywall out of the ceiling. It was an easy patch job I did over the weekend though so no biggie. Works great now. That took him a little over an hour so with the remaining time I asked if he could replace a bathroom fan in our basement bathroom with one we had purchased. This time he said he couldn't because the parts didn't match and it made more sense for me to just upgrade the existing unit so he showed me the parts I needed to buy, but he said he would charge again to come back (even though he still had at least a half hour left that I had paid for - not even a discount was offered to return?) ... so I decided to forget the basement bathroom fan and took the unit I purchased back to the store. He did a decent enough job, I just got the feeling like he really didn't want to do anything I was asking for and wanted to leave early. I didn't feel like I really got my money's worth.

Efficient, perfectionist. Everything I wanted

I recently joined Angie's list and was excited to purchase a voucher for electrical work from A&A Electric. I dutifully filled out the form online, called twice, and they wouldn't schedule an appointment until I asked Angie's list to follow up. They came, did a small amount of service, said that they did not have enough time to complete the job I wanted and promised to call to reschedule. They called while I was in a meeting the next day. I called back multiple times, but nobody will ever answer the phone or respond to messages. I am asking for a refund for the voucher.

Called before coming arrived on time consulted on light placement & discussed pros & cons of certain decisions. Cleaned up at end.

From the time I contacted Alex for an estimate to the time the job was done, everything was done in a very professional manner. Alex was punctual for our first meeting and his inspection was very thorough. His crew was also punctual and perormed their work without any wasted time. I have since hired A & A to troubleshoot another electrical wiring problem and this time Alex himself came out to do the work. With all his gadgets he very quickly found the problem and resolved it. I have number at the ready and will call him if I develop and other electrical problems. I highly recommend him for any electrical work.

The technician was punctual and pleasant and was able to answer all of our questions about the condition of the wiring in our 1920s-era house. He installed a ceiling fixture in a bedroom and his work was efficient and good.

Alex was great. He patiently answered several questions on the phone prior to my hiring him. He performed the work to my high standards. Replacing the sconces was tricky: antique fixtures that required drilling holes into old plaster walls without studs at the site of the lights, as well as other associated technical challenges. He involved me in the decision process by carefully explaining the pluses and minuses of each approach since there was no perfect solution, and then they ended up looking perfect after all! The other work was more straightforward but also done perfectly. Alex was professional and friendly. I will definitely use him again for any electrical work that may be needed in the future.

We had a house for sale that required a quick turn-around on electrical repairs that were called out in an inspection. A&A Electric had a deal posted on Angie's List for an electrical panel replacement which I was able to take advantage of. Alexander responded to my email right away and was able to schedule and complete the work within a couple of weeks to meet our tight deadline. The two young men who did the work were very friendly and professional and made sure to clean up everything afterwards. I have called on A&A Electric in the past when we needed electrical repairs and have always been impressed with the prompt and professional service. I highly recommend them.

We have an older house with some electrical issues. He looked into the most troubled areas and gave us a quote to add grounds to our kitchen wall at a later time.

Jason was fabulous! There were many parts within the 2 canister conversion kits & also the for the 2 pendants itself which was massive. He completed it in record time! THANKS JASON.

It went very well and we will use A & A Electrical in the future for our electrical problems, etc. Alexander Sablin worked efficiently and cleaned up all debris, etc. as he moved from job to job. Everything is working properly now and we a no longer fearful that we have a wiring issue. Additionally, he helped me with a t.v. cabling problem I was having which took him about 5 minutes and would have taken me an hour + for try to figure out what cable went where? We feel we received, good service for a value priced Angie's List Deal. We will also recommend A & A to neighbors and friends who may need electrical.
