Description of Work: Fixed a light in my bathroom. If it wasn't fixed I may have had a fire.

Description of Work: Alex and his crew did a variety of electrical installs in our house pre-move. They installed indoor/outdoor outlets, motion/light detectors for outside and relocated some cable jacks. Alex was always prompt and professional, however some of his crew did not complete work or give updates to me, myself, and sometimes even Alex. As a result, I had to follow up and the full job took longer than expected. Alex made sure that the job was done, however, and came in at bid. We've had no problems with any of the work!

Description of Work: A&A was great and I would have hired them to do the work, however, the previous owners of this house did work without a permit and now I need to upgrade the panel before the small things can be done by a licensed electrician. A&A was on time and very friendly. I appreciated their honesty and would hire them again.

Description of Work: We had a sudden electrical outage on the 2nd floor of our 10 year old townhouse, knocking out all telephone, computer and television service as well as lighting in 2 bedrooms. Had a terrible time finding someone to come in less than several weeks, except for the above. turned out we needed to improve/repair the panel, and we trusted the provider so spent extra $ to upgrade the circuits. Now we feel assured that this will never happen again despite all the electrical things we have plugged in, all the computers, a new huge refrigerator etc. He was prompt, explained it clearly.

Description of Work: To be honest, it's been a while since I last worked with Alex that I don't recall which portion he worked the last time. I hired him for three occasions for different issues. Each time was about $250 to $300 and he always worked efficiently and came up with creative solutions to my requests. I would definitely hire him again.

Description of Work: Brought new wiring to a very old outdoor circuit; placed wall and ceiling light fixtures, (four in all), in an excellent manner. Extra help with designing protective cover for outdoor light. On time, professional, left no mess. Feel I've finally found an honest, reliable electrician!

Description of Work: Installed new panel, mast and meter. I was in immediate need of the work to be done as another contractor became unavailable and the roof was being replaced. Alex responded very quickly and professionally. I had not anticipated the level of expense involved.

Description of Work: Their rep, (the principal) came by, examined our kitchen wiring request, and said he'd call back with a quote. I called him because his ad said they provide free quotes. He never called back.

Description of Work: Alex and his assistant replaced our existing 100 amp panel and meter base with a 200 amp panel and meter base. All of the work was completed in one day and passed the electrical inspection with flying colors. Alex is good to work with and works quickly and efficiently.
