A Better Roofing Company

All good. Only price in the end was a bit higher than was originally expected.

Went great, professional. No work done.

The quality of their proposal was impressive. Each component was itemized, with possible options and associated costs also shown. Payment was not required until after completion of the work, and they allowed $5K to be put on a credit card. The work crew of four spent three days on the project, and part of an additional day finishing up. Some of the beaded board had to be replaced, which added about $600 to the initial bid. During the placement of the first dumpster, the barge board to which the electrical power line was attached was damaged, and had to be replaced at no additional cost. Tearing off and replacing 100 years of roofing resulted in a lot of dust, debris and disruption, but the crew managed it as well as I think could be expected. They did a nice job.

I had several quotes done a few years ago. ABRC told me that my roof was fine and to call back is a few years. I thought this was great and when I needed a roof I only called ABRC back. They honored the original quote from three years ago and worked me into their schedule. The whole job took only two days. It looks great and I'm set for another 30 years.

Called and scheduled an estimate. Gentleman was pleasant. Decided to not go with this wonderful company, but did refer co-workers.

They finish the roof in one day with 7 crew that work morning until 9 PM. The quality of workmanship is good. This is very subjective, this is always based on the material you pick. I picked the median grade material, I think it looks nice.

Overall good job. Several small quality issues requiring repair.

The estimator showed up on time. The price was reasonable. The roofers showed up on time, did the roof in an afternoon, cleaned up, and were gone. The roof looks great, and the process was painless.

It was a positive but I didn't use them. They were great. I don't have anything negative in my recollection in my interaction with them.

These projects were both completed well and the two projects well coordinated. They did a great job of coordinating with me as the jobs were being planned and executed.

We did not go with them, but they were our second runner-up and I would recommend them. They're a good company. The only reason we didn't go with them was based on financing and it had nothing to do with them personally. We would absolutely consider using them again. I have actually given their number out to other people because they were really good guys.

The actual work went great. A Better Roofing Co. was great to work with and their price was very competitive. They cleaned up the property well during and after the job. I had one bad sheet that needed replacement, but that was only $50 tacked on to the original bid (which was part of the Ts & Cs). The delay between contract signature and work performed was quite long, but it was winter and my roof condition wasn't an emergency. Highly recommended.

It was pretty quick. I would not use them because their pricing is not very competitive. They're high priced.

Couldn't be better! Estimator came when they said they would and explained everything without rushing through it. He was clear about necessary vs. optional: cost estimates were between those of two other companies who came out. Advised me that i'd need the corner rebuilt by another company, as they don't do that. Materials were delivered a few days before work started: they were smart enough to pile stuff on the far end from the bad corner - which i didn't think of. Workers arrived on time, worked steadily and neatly, and took appropriate breaks (which i was glad to see because, a) that's hard work! and b) it was hot summer weather). They left the place in good shape overnight (job took two days) and clean-up at the end was thorough. They even hauled our old satellite dish off with the rest of the garbarge. I particularly enjoyed the team at work on the roof: not that they were loud, but i could hear them talking and laughing and - occasionally - singing. A Better Roofing Company also replaced the roofs of two of our neighbors, and they were equally as pleased with the work and the price.

They were very tidy and did a good job. The workers were polite and we are very satisfied. They cleaned up really nicely when the work was done.

I was pleased with the cleanliness of the job - have found very little debris. It did take longer than the estimate (5 days vs the 2 I was told) but weather was unpredictable day to day so it was understandable.

I filled out the web form and Teresa called and left a message. I called her back but she said that the estimator would only come out to the house between the hours of 800 and 4:00. I said to her there way no way I can get time off of work and if they could come out at 5pm or some time on the weekend. She said no.

The entire job was COMPLETE in two days and the clean-up was meticulous; you would never have guessed that the entire roof was replaced, there was NO construction debris ANYWHERE! One of the BEST things about A BETTER ROOFING COMPANY is that they do not abandon their customers: I called and asked them to inspect my roof for possible damage because of a moisture problem on my south wall - I thought that maybe some flashing had been disturbed or holes were un-caulked when a DirecTV dish was put on the roof. The roof was fine, but A BETTER ROOFING COMPANY helped me further by suggesting the likely causes of my problem, and they REFUSED to charge me a penny for the time spent coming to my house, climbing up and inspecting the roof!

Met us in Tacoma to discuss details and options. Their pricing was good but not cheap - ultimate price determined by options such as shingle style. They declined to go outside their area of expertise, which was good. Weather delayed the start for a few weeks - they didn't want leaks on the interior. Once started they were done in a week. We had to wait a few weeks for the skylight to be delivered; but as soon as the roof was done they hauled the dumpster out. There was no leftover mess. They reframed the skylight opening as part of the agreed project. Altogether professional, competent and fairly priced.

The process from initial bid to final product was an easy and pleasant process. Work was completed in less than two weeks from my initial contact with A Better Roofing. The tear off and replacement of the roof was completed in one day, the crew came sometime after I left for work and they were gone by the time I came home from work. The roof looks beautiful now. I was referred to A Better Roofing by a neighbor that had used them to do their roof replacement, they have replaced several roofs in my neighborhood.

Very friendly and prompt on all accounts. They showed up right on time for the quote, the installation, and final walk through. Their dumpster truck knocked out our cable, and they made up for the inconvenience by knocking off an extra 100.00. The whole experience overall was great. They did the whole job on my 1350 sq. ft. house in two days, and it looks great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing roofing services.
