From start to finish A Better Roofing company was outstanding. One of the few companies I've spoken to that hasn't exaggerated on work or used scare tactics. They were honest from the beginning with a price around half of the next cheapest bid with the same materials. We had a fair amount of mold and wood rot on our decking so most of the plywood needed replacing. Alan didn't try to make the damage seem worse than it was and gave us a very reasonable estimate on new plywood. One of the guys from a different company was offering to buy me a beer because the mold was "sooo severe" and he was sorry for me. Alan gave us a recommendation on a mold company who actually ended up saying it wasn't too bad. The roof replacement itself was great. The workers were nice, respectful and really fast. I have a friend that used to do roofing that commented on how impressed he was with their attention to detail. The workers cleaned everything up meticulously without leaving any nails, staples or other materials in the lawn. Next time I need a roof, I won't hesitate to call them.

Timely, professional, well-priced work

We had A Better Roofing Co. do our roof about 8 years ago. They were excellent. They are always there for us when we have questions like: can we attach something to the roof without damaging it, etc. They have come out to study the questions and give answers. This time, during the storm and rain, a tree fell and damaged our roof some. They came out the next morning and scoped it out. Making sure that any holes would be secure and not do further water damage to the roof, etc. until they could get the tiles for our roof and come repair it. Which they did. They returned and installed and repaired the damage. It looks great. They are a company that not only stands behind their work, they don't forget previous clients!

I'm still in the bidding process. A better roofing company has been responsive and excellent so far.

A Better Roofing Co did the work faster than I expected, considering the rainy weather we had at the time. They placed tarps around most of the house to protect the landscaping from falling debris. The price was good with no surprise extra charges. If you need roofing work definitely get a quote from them.

We needed a new roof including new sheeting. Our roof was a 23 year old composite roof with 3/8" sheeting. We received 3 bids from different roofing companies. All of the bids came in within a few hundred dollars of each other. We decided to go with A Better Roofing Company because of reviews, their history in the area dating back to 1991, and the professionalism of Daniel who wrote up the estimate. We received the estimate in October 2018 and the job was completed in December 2018. Scheduling was a difficult because of the rainy days. The crew started on a friday and finished on sunday. The crew worked right thru until the job was done. When i had my extimate done i had choosen white flashing around the roof to match the facia board. The crew mistakenly installed dark flashing that matched the black roof we choose. When I did the walk through after the job was completed with Michael right before Christmas i pointed that out. He immediately said they would come out and replace it with the correct flashing. Since Christmas was a few days away I related to Michael that they could come out anytime after Christmas, no hurry. The next day when i got home from work it was all replaced. That was being responsive! The roof is beautiful and solid. I would recommend A Better Roofing Company to everyone.

Great. Showed up earlier than scheduled ( both time of day and week ) which came as a bit of a surprise, but allowed the project to be completed earlier and in more conducive weather. Overall a very good experience.

Putting house on the mArket, wanted to get n inspection.

Everything went very well. There was a slight snafu concerning the arrival time of the dumpster, but other than that I was very pleased with the service I received and the diligence of the workers. The clean-up was excellent and there were checks done on the work after it was finished.

Had a roof leak and wanted to list home for sale, so I decided to call around and seek estimates. The first company I called was A Better Roofing. They provided an estimate, overall the staff was great, but decided on another company.

The roofinggwrnt as scheduled looks good keeps out the rain and they cleaned up to better than when they started. They didn’t need money up front and came by a week later to check that I was happy and then collected the check.

The job was performed professionally , efficiently and wonderfully. They used the fleeting breaks in the weather to get the job done super fast. They left our yards cleaner than they were before their work began.

They specialize in composition roofs and do not do torch down flat roofs.

They responded the same day to let us know they specialize in composite roofs only.

They don't need the reviews. they are so amazing they have been in business forever. Everybody loves them. They are pretty well known. They are very responsive. They really understand older homes. I think they are locally owned so I like that. I never felt price gouged. They aren't the cheapest game in town but you get what you pay for.

Lead up was good, options were given for different types of singles, no options were given for types of skylights, except opening or non-opening. We chose non-opening. We were given instructions on how to mark the opening for the new skylight. My husband did as they instructed. Dumpster arrived as scheduled. Installers arrived as scheduled. They we able to mostly finish everything in one day... rip off, replacement, & skylight install... Before the installers left (at 9pm) they did tell us they had run out of flashing and would come back the next day to finish. For the most part they were able to keep the old roof garbage on the tarps... however, after they had gone over the area with their magnet, they used a blower and blew a bunch of bits off my driveway into my grass... turns out it was a bunch of nails and roof staples they blew into the grass... We ended up purchasing our own big magnet to run over the grass... I've got kids who don't like shoes... fortunately, I'm the only one who's found a staple the hard way. :-( The next day we were able to see the work that was done. The roof itself looks good...but... However, they put the new skylight in the wrong spot. They admitted this was their fault and fixed this within a few days. They also had ripped 2, 10"x4" chunks of our siding off, along with a few very long cracks. They had "fixed" the cracks with black roofing tar (we have a light gray house. We were able to paint over the black tar... but still not the best choice of adhesive.) All of this damage is on the front of our house above the garage roof and is very visible. We ended up reducing the amount of the final bill, but in my opinion this damage was because they were in too much of a hurry to finish in one day... they could have saved the big chunks of siding they ripped off and we could have glued them back in place... but instead we have to replace the boards. It took them more than 2 weeks to comeback and finish the flashing... in this time we'd found another area, they had not pointed out to us, that was missing it's flashing. The flashing and chalking was eventually finished to our satisfaction. Final bill has been settled. However, because of the damage that was done to my house, I don't feel comfortable recommending them to my friends.

That was good also. We had no complaints. I'm sure their price-range was good or we wouldn't have chosen him. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of. The quality has been great; no problems.

This was the 2nd time I worked with A Better Roofing Company for a new roof. I was a happy customer from the first job, so went straight to ABR again when needing a new roof for the current house. From the time of responding to estimation, to timely delivery of the quote, to actual replacement, cleanup, all went very well. When Mike came by to collect payment, I was pleasantly surprised to see an invoice $2K less than the original quote. Mike explained to me that due to the way my house is, they used aerial view to compute size and estimate, and when they came to do the work, it was less hence my final bill was reduced. ABR Company's integrity is one of the many reasons I love working with them.
