Description of Work: 2 new heating units

Description of Work: Trying to fix a gas fireplace whose pilot light would not stay lit for more than a couple of days. Replaced thermopile, which did help that problem, but unit continues to turn itself off when main flame is on for more than one hour. Delta is returning in two days to troubleshoot problem further.

Description of Work: does just enough to get by, failed to mention Mini Split does not come with a programmable thermostat, wanted to charge additional $300 after the fact to make it right.

Description of Work: My gas heater has started to blow in cold air instead of hot. Delta sent a service man out to see what was up. My unit is old (and apparently somewhat unique), but the guy was able to check it out and clean off the sensor that had gotten dirty. The heat started pouring into my house again. Now, this repair did not totally fix it, but the repairman warned me this might be the case. I know I need to replace it, I was just hoping it wasn't going to have to be this winter. I am getting a quote from Delta on a new unit. I am just hoping the fix will keep sort of working until we can get a new one installed.

Description of Work: Repaced my central heat and air system with a new heat pump furnace system. I am very pleased with the service Delta provided for me. Very professional, friendly, and curtious. The job was was completed with 100% satisfaction.

Description of Work: Delta serviced my water source heat pump. My original call was for a noise that I was hearing in the system. The tech removed the fan housing and turned it over so the oil reservoir was facing up. Any oil in the bearing area previously was gone due to orientation of the lube point. The tech oiled the motor bearing which will now retain lubrication. Additionally the tech checked inbound and outbound water temp's of my water source heat pump and added approximately one lb of Freon. The tech also calibrated outbound temperature so the system operates more efficiently. After completing this service the noise I was hearing is gone. I was pretty sure I was going to have to replace the system. After this service the tech advised the system operates efficiently and did not need replacement. Description of Work: They installed 2 Mitsubishi ductless heat and A/C units in our home. We were very pleased with their attitude, their work, and the result.

Description of Work: Trouble-shooted why our thermostat wasn't working and replaced it. Gave several options for replacement thermostat and explained differences/benefits/disadvantages of each. Found a wiring error done by previous service call from different company and fixed it. Checked the furnace and heat pump for any problems, even though the service call was only for the thermostat.

Description of Work: On one of the first very hot days in early summer last year, the old Lennox system at my rental broke down. When my renters complained they had no A/C I called Delta. They were out in a couple of hours. They told me the estimated costs before they began. They replaced the compressor-expensive-$450 & recommended a replacement unit which was reasonably priced but more $$ than I wanted to spend at the time. They came back in Fall & cked both cooling/heating unit @ no additional charge! Still running strong. Delta is a smallish company which I think is great because they know your system well. Can't say enough on what a wonderful company they are as well as their techs-professional & know what they're doing!

Description of Work: I telephoned to request info regarding semi-annual maintenance on my heat pump and furnace. The woman taking the call said she would send me a contract with prices. I am still waiting to receive it.

Description of Work: It was very hot outside and of course our old air condiditon finally gave up. Not a surprise, but i guess it is never a good time for that to happen. Anyway, we callded Delta and Glenn came out to give us good information and choices as to what we needed. His crew was back the next day to install our new unit. Glenn went over use information, warranty, energy info and everything. We have been cool and pleased ever since. We have not used the heat yet, but are confident it will be excellent. We also know that if we have a question or a problem, we just call........Awesome experience.

Description of Work: Our heat pump went out resently. we initially contacte to local companies for bids. the bids ranged from $6500 for the low end equipment to $11000 for the high end ( I really dont need a thermostate that allows me to download/display picture) . After checking Angies list and finding out the contractors had a rating less then A rating I decided to call Delta. Not only did they have a lower price then the other contractors after rebates for an equivalent high end unit they made the whole process painless. The rebate was instant and they did all the paper work.They were in and out in a day. The unit is very quite and is performing well. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: First of two semi-annual preventative maintenance inspections of my two air conditioning heat pumps and two electric furnaces. The technician was very knowledgeable, personable and thorough. The payment I made is for both annual inspections and includes sales tax. The next one will be in September 2010. I have marked quality as 4 because a true evaluation requires time to pass to see if problems arise.
