I called a number of roofing companies after our windstorm on 12/17/12. Greg was the only one that took the time to come out, get on my roof and give me an estimate. When he was here, he noticed that my roofing deck had a hole in it and he (without knowing if he was getting the job or not) fixed the hole so that it would not cause anymore damage. Greg also was sent the estimate that evening. The other roofers (Perfect Circle and Black Diamond Roofing) that I called to this day have not even called to see if I still need an estimate. Greg and his crew came out on the first day (in the snow) to start and I requested they start on the next day that it was not snowing. Greg also was in constant contact with me about the when they would be finished and called my insurance claims agent as well. Greg and his crew did a great job from start to finish, they made sure that all the materials from the tear off was removed and everything was left in better shape then when they got here. Revision: I am not so sure that Greg is as organized as he would lead people to believe. He was supposed to be over to fix a couple of small issues. 1) to fix a couple pieces of skirting (one that his crew ruined) and one that was destroyed during the wind storm. 2) they told me that they would come back over and touch up the paint on the siding where the old roofing scuffed it up. Twice he was scheduled to come over and both times he did not show up and DID NOT call.

Once started the project went well (a few delays but it worked out), and the dressing room was nicely done. The lighting had a few glitches, but Greg did a great job getting someone in there that was an electrician. Overall satisfied with the work.

Greg Hanrahan was excellent to work with. He was professional and communicated extremely well through whole process. The room turned out awesome! Patched up all the walls - installed new door - repainted walls and ceiling - put new molding around floor - repaired closet - room looks brand new! Greg went above and beyond my expectations.

After we agreed to the estimate Greg provided, he started work within 48 hours. The initial work went very fast. The wall was framed, installed, and sheetrock installed and taped the first day. It slowed down the following days while waiting for the spakel and paint to dry. The first coat of paint was not quite the right color but the second coat matched perfectly. The texture on the wall was also matched perfectly. It looks great. Greg had a friend of his install the rug in the master bedroom. As it turned out his friend had done a lot of work on my daughters house, which she loved, and we had some fun when my daughter arrived and realized who he was. The kitchen island proved to be a bit difficult and Greg summoned some of his friends. The island was very heavy with the granite counter top. After a couple hours the work was complete and looks real good. Gregs best assistant was his wife. She helped him with almost every step and did much of the painting. Overall we are pleased with the final product. We also appreciated Greg's quick action to fix any little defect we noticed. I will hire Greg again when I have something needing attention.

Greg is punctual and professional. He provides a written plan prior to the start of work. This is worth working on because it makes for more thorough planning and cuts down on surprises. I would call on Absolute Home Solutions again. They provide good service and great value!

Overall, everything was fine. Greg worked with his son Nate, and together they make a good team. Neither had ever installed the type of flooring that went into my theater room and office, and I am experiencing some flooring failure (tiles not sticking down, edges turning up, and so on). Proper installation would have required rolling the tiles in to create the bonding, or perhaps we shouldn't have gone with my idea to use an underlayment pad and we should have glued things down. I'll live with it until I can get to a different solution somewhere down the road. Greg is punctual and personable. He has a can-do attitude, and he will try hard to find a way to get what you want done. As a general all-around handyman, if you have a variety of things you just need to get done, it's hard to go wrong in helping you to conquer your to-do list.

He called ahead of time to let me know when he would be there. The first day was mostly spent removing the old rotting wood and cleaning up the mess. The next day he completed a tremendous amount of the siding. During this process, he removed our exterior lights, house numbers, etc. Within the next two days, he finished the entire project, replaced the exterior light fixtures, house numbers, etc., cleaned up, including sweeping the driveway, walked us through what he had done, and reminded us that if for any reason we weren't pleased, to call him.

The bathrooms in our home were original since the home was built in 1987. The company we decided to use was given good reviews on Angie's List so we decided to use their services. We were pleased with the estimate that was quoted and even though the job took longer than was estimated, the majority of delays were out of his control and were caused by supplies that had been ordered. The job performed more than met our expectations and came in a little above the estimate due to the items we selected. We plan on using this company in the future when it comes time to update our kitchen and garage.

Did get a visit from this person. He was to get back to us within a few days. When that did not happen, I called again and was told he was waiting for a response from one of his vendors. Never heard from him again.

If you are looking for an honest individual that has integrity and takes pride in his work, my recommendation is to contact Greg with Absolute Home Solutions. After just moving into a new place I contacted Greg (based on his Angie's List reviews) for a variety of handyman work items. I listed out the items in an email that I needed completed and he was very responsive from the beginning. He detailed out the cost for each of the items & that is exactly what I paid... he is very fair in his pricing structure & completes the work to perfection & communicates should there be any changes outside the original scope of work. It has now been about a week since he has completed the last item on the list and he has followed up with me in email to ensure that everything is in working order & to satisfaction. I am pleased with the service & quality of work for a reasonable price. His number is now a permanent contact in my phone as we will be bringing him back for other work that needs to be completed in the future.

It went well, they were quick and did a good job, was a bit messy with the dust from drywall sanding (next time will have them put plastic cover on door, or in area they sand). Flooring was done very well, they removed all the materials and the hardwood looks beautiful. Oil on hardwood was very slippery though. Overall was happy with the end result.

He gave us a quote within 2-3 days of calling and stuck with his quote throughout the job. His team arrived at about 9:30 each day they worked and accomplished the job in 3 days. He delayed the start one day to finish another job and missed a day of work in the middle of the week, but he always made sure to stay in contact and not just leave us hanging. He got the job done fast anyway and was happy to to fix anything we weren't happy with along the way. I wouldn't have a problem hiring him again.

They came around 9:00AM and return home around 3:00PM , took them 3 days to finish all the work including the job for 2 bathrooms installed new tiles and kitchen backslash and fixed my sub-floor in 20 minutes. This could be a 2 days job if they willing to stayed longer each day ( He came with his son to finish it). Well, I will give them an 75% to of their quality work. Thanks.

The work began with the replacement of the exterior door and sliding patio doors. This work went well and was completed in about 1 day. Then the work on the floors began. He warned us that this process was going to be messy and it was. The old floors consisted of carpet (which came up pretty quickly) and hardwood and vinyl. The initial process of ripping up the old floor did create a mess but things got better as the install proceeded. We were very happy with the final result,

When my husband and I realized we were over our heads we checked Angie's list for a drywall guy. Greg had great reviews. He came over to check out the job in less than an hour after we called. He was still in his Hawaiian shirt just returning from his Honeymoon. That night Greg emailed us a profesionnal itemized proposal for doing the job. We accepted, and he whipped the demolation out in no time. He also had to replace some of the studs. I noticed that a couple of the studs did not go clear to the floor. I excpected that he would put horizontal supports in, because he mentioned it. When the electrician and plumbing were done these supports had not been put in, and though I was working when the drywall went up, the contractor from Southridge Construction (working on another project) said that the supports were not put in. Greg did a nice job on the texture, but failed to cover the electrical switches and outlets, and the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. I had to pay Dean from Southridge Construction to clean up the scattered texture before he could paint, put cabinets up, and do the finish work. I have to say, I got my money's worth from Greg. And it means a lot to have someone who comes to the job quicikly and stays with the job. To Greg's credit, he was adament that anything I was unhappy with he would fix. Unfortuantely I had a renter waiting for the unit and I am taking my chances with the studs as they are rather then rip out drywall. And I doubt after this review that Greg will EVER not put tape across outlets in the future. So I would hire Greg again with confidence.

I contacted Greg at Absolute Home Solutions to see if he would interested in a small job re-grouting my bath tub surround. I wasn't sure if anyone would want to do such a small job, but he was more than willing to stop by to give me an estimate within 2 days of my calling. Greg was very pleasant and eager to do business. He gave a great estimate (saved me from doing it!) and was at my house doing the job within 3 days. He also came back 2 days later to seal the new grout. The finished surround looks great and I plan on hiring him to do more work for us in the near future.

Greg was very timely and his quality of work was superb!
