Basic Moving Plan at $180 per hour – Includes two movers and one truck.
Three Man Moving Plan at $255 per hour – Includes three movers and one truck.
Four Man Moving Plan at $295 per hour – Includes four movers and a truck.
All of these services are priced according to the number of movers. Each additional mover adds another $55 dollars per hour to the overall charge and each is based on the use of one truck. The move went well. The crew was professional, polite, and hardworking. They disassembled and reassembled furniture as needed, which meant that my young children got to sleep in their own beds for their first night in a new house, which really meant a lot to us. All of our belongings made it over intact, and they took the time to put everything just where we wanted it. At every step of the process, I was kept informed of where they would be and when they would arrive at both the old house and the new. Thanks for making the move as smooth as possible, guys!

Steve, Seth, and Danny were 30 minutes early for our scheduled move, and called beforehand to give us notice. They moved all of our things very quickly, and were friendly and flexible with my in-laws adding some things to rearrange at their house after removing our items. The fact that I needed an additional stop at a storage unit for the rest of my belongings didn't get into their notes, but they had no problem adjusting and unloaded a 10x10 unit solidly-packed in less than 30 minutes! There were a few small dings to things upon arrival, but all in all the move was very smooth and the guys from On the Go were a pleasure to work with. I'd happily recommend them!

Aaron, Rishano and Nick helped us move into our new house. Both our move-out and move-in locations were in Issaquah, so it was an easy move. They were careful with our boxes and furniture and the experience was extremely stress-free. While moving in, they were careful to put down moving blankets and runners to cover our steam cleaned carpets. They disassembled and reassembled furniture without any issue. They also helped haul away some pieces of furniture that we did not need anymore at an extra cost. They even gave me an extra $50 off for being an Angie's List member. I appreciate their hard work, and would recommend their services.

Received almost immediate responses to all emails when setting up the move, which was refreshing. Was easily able to set up a date and time for the move within minutes. Although they were booked solid for my requested date, they followed up with me as soon as they had a cancellation and were able to fit me in first thing that morning. Movers called ahead and let me know they were going to be 15 minutes early, and had everything loaded in their truck within an an hour. The entire move took just over 2 hours, including unloading time. Everything arrived in perfect shape. Very fast, efficent, and professional company.

The first crew was Aaron and John M and they were scheduled to arrive between 12:00 and 2:00. They called around 10:00 to let me know their ETA and were right on time with it. It took about 2 hours to get everything downstairs and they both worked HARD the entire time. The were professional and courteous and took good care of my things and my home. It was raining that day and they took extra steps to protect things. When they finished, there were some light scuffs on the wood floor from a heavy piece with an unexpected metal leveling foot and John took extra time to try and buff them out before he left. The second crew was Tyler and Skyler. They were planned for an 8:00 start and arrived early which was great. Our schedule was very tight since our move included a ferry ride. Again, these guys really busted their tails in order to get everything out of the house and onto the truck so that we could make the boat. When we arrived at the new place, the driveway was too steep to bring their truck up so they had to park at the bottom and carry all of the furniture up. NOT EASY! They were also very careful with my things, wrapping everything in plastic and using blankets to protect them in the truck. They were also very polite and worked well with us to get it all done. Even when we really pushed them for time at the end so that they could make the ferry back, they stepped up and did it. Nothing was damaged or broken. Thank you On the Go for a great move!

On the Go moving called before they left their office and arrived twenty minutes early. We did a quick walk through, they put down some Carpet Saver, and then quickly and efficiently started packing. A moderately furnished two bedroom took the three men just over an hour to load. They disassembled some furniture as requested and were very polite. Delivery and assembly of the furniture at my new place was very snappy and they charged a fair price.

The crew arrived on time and was very professional. We reviewed the plan for the order in which pieces needed to be handled and then they very efficiently did exactly what we discussed. Will, Anthony and Robbie were very polite and professional. Will called to tell me they were on there way. Everything was packed into the truck with care and strategy. These guys moved fast and efficiently (they were sweating the whole time). They never took any breaks and did not waste anyone's time at all. They were so good, we got them coffee and tipped them very well. It took them 6 hours including driving 405 with all but two lanes shut down.

The two gentlemen who did the moving, Tony and Will, were fantastic. Very friendly, professional, and efficient, though not so fast as to jeopardize the safety of our belongings. On the Go replied immediately to my initial phone call and did an estimate of the size truck and crew I would need and then immediately scheduled the move for me. They showed up exactly on time and got right to work. I did watch them load the furniture and boxes up in the storage unit, and I would advise doing this with any mover, though they'll often suggest you relax elsewhere and let them load up. Only you know what's most important to safeguard, and I did find it necessary to point out a few things for them to watch out for (don't pile boxes on top of my grandmother's antique chest, for example). Also, on the initial phone call, they did suggest a larger truck and crew than I would have needed, so be sure to discuss that in some detail as well as their insurance for any damage caused during the move. A glass panel in my antique china cabinet cracked during the move, which the two movers noted on my billing, and I called the company immediately to inform the office as well, which I would recommend if something does happen. Within hours, a gentleman came out to our house to take measurements for the breakage, and by the next day the damage was repaired, which was no small task, since the glass was the wavy, antique kind that can be hard to find. All in all, despite this one problem, it was a very good experience. Also I got the Angies List $50 discount on the move!

I have moved many times before but never had an experience like this: it was GREAT and actually FUN! Ramsey and Rob showed up and were very clean cut and professional. They hustled all day long, despite the heat. What's more, they were extremely courteous and thoughtful as they went about the task - nothing was broken or damaged because of the great care they took. Equally important, I could tell how hard it was to tackle a job that big in such heat - but they never once complained, lost their smiles, or slowed down. I got everything I could have asked for with this company and, especially this crew. Great people and great service! In the past, moving day has always had problems, but not this time. I highly recommend this company and wish they could teach everyone else how to do a move this well!
Description of Work: Moved furniture and 90+ boxes from one home to another within Seattle. This was complicated by the fact that it was 96 degrees that day, and my new home's driveway is curvy, narrow, and steep. I spoke with Jason in advance and sent photos, so we agreed on using a small truck, knowing it might require two trips.

This is the second time that I've used On The Go Moving. I called them to start my project in hopes that they could do the entire project from end to end. Unfortunately, they don't cover Eastern Washington. After using Snap Fix and looking for ways to get the project completed I realized On The Go Moving was my best approach to get everything packed. Scheduling was easy and quick. The team showed up on schedule and worked very hard. Once again on the go moving exceeded my expectations. I will use them again in the future.

First, I'd like to say that the actual moving team was very nice, professional, went above and beyond to get things done in a short amount of time. If my interaction had ended with the move, I would have given them a B+ (only marking them down for being over 2 hrs late). That said, the following course of events are beyond unprofessional. 1. Moving team showed up over 2 hrs late (scheduled time 12-2pm, arrived a little after 4pm). We were generally well apprised of the fact that the moving team would arrive late, and were told that it was due to the fact that they had an additional, previously unknown drop-off for the morning move. Subsequent calls indicated that the even later arrival was due to traffic (this part is generally acceptable). 2. Due to the late arrival, they were unable to pick up a couch that was on a scheduled, quick stop along the way to the end destination. Had the moving team arrived even close to on time, they would have easily fit in the couch move (it was 30 minute detour, max). 3. We were told (by the movers) that Scott (the main manager we had been coordinating with) would contact us in the morning to schedule the move of the couch for no additional charge (because the late arrival was at least in part their fault), and that he had spoken to Scott regarding the plan to schedule something in the morning. 4. The following morning, we did not receive a call from On the Go. We called at 10am to check on the status of the couch move, and Scott informed us that it would require at least the 2hr minimum charge to move the couch and that he had no idea about an arrangement to move the couch that day, or the fact that it should be at no charge to us. Scott said he would call us back within the hour to coordinate the move and clear up the indescrepencies regarding payment for the couch move. 5. We did not receive a call back, so at 3:30pm (4 hrs after Scott promised he'd call), we called back to check on status and left a message. We also sent an email because the message machine instructed us to do so as well. We never heard back that day. 6. In the morning the following day, we called and left a message to inquire the status of the couch move. We did not a receive a response, so that afternoon, we called a few times to no response. We then called again that evening to indicate that we would need to put a stop payment on the check we gave them if they did not call us back because we needed to get the couch delivered and would have to do it ourselves if they did not respond. 7. The following day (after not hearing back), we moved the couch ourselves (having to take a day off of work and rent a UHall). Still no call back despite another call to check in. 8. The following day, when we called again, we had a discussion with Scott in which he agreed to reimburse us $200 for the UHall move. So we sent in a check for $200 less than the initial cost of the move. 9. They ended up cashing our original check (so $200 were owed to us per agreement). We then called to correct the issue, and talked to a higher up person in the company. He said he had no idea about the agreement regarding the $200 deduction in cost and didn't think that they should have to reimburse us anything at all. After a 45 minute conversation, he agreed to reimburse us $100 (half the initial agreement). I would never write a scathing review like this, but after the extensive amount of time we've spent dealing with this issue, I feel it is the only recourse we have. We hired movers--specifically movers with an A rating on Angie's list--to make our move seamless since we are both professionals who have little spare time. Instead, this has caused endless hours of problems and additional work on our end. We would NOT recommend using On the Go for any type of move based on our experience.

This is my first review so bare with me :) I want to say that OTGM were fabulous. They showed up on time and after going through things with the Lead Renee they were set and off they went. We had 6 guys and 2 truck loads. I felt bad as it was at that time the hottest day of the year. The new house has a 750 ft. long driveway so I was a bit nervous on how the truck would handle going up it but it was fine. If there was anything negative to say it would be when they left they went off the driveway a bit and took out some of the boulders from the side of the driveway. Its just going to be a pain to move them back to where they need to be. But other than that they were perfect.. The guys were funny, polite and I now I also have an adopted son AJ (who is so smart and so funny!!) had me laughing all day long.. :-) Renee was amazing too, a good Lead and a great attitude. I would recommend them to anyone that needs moved. Although we didn't purchase thru Angie's List I still wanted to give them a review. Initially, I was hoping to use the company that had moved our furniture from Austin, TX, but they were very slow in responding to my attempts to contact them. Happily, that was not the case with On the Go. I got a prompt response and once we agreed that they would do the move, they were extremely good about checking with us as the day of the move neared and on the day of the move itself. The three movers were friendly, professional, and very fast! We could not have been happier with the services provided and the price charged.
Description of Work: On the Go picked up and loaded our condo furniture which we were storing at our son and daughter-in-law's home in Bellevue. They transported our furniture to our condo in Seattle and unloaded it. They would have unpacked it, but we did not require that service. However, when we discovered we had a piece of furniture that should have stayed back in Bellevue, they returned it to our son and daughter-in-law's home in Bellevue.

The moving experience was fairly smooth, and they had 4 guys came out, who arrived on time. They were all very professional, well organized, moved stuff with care and acted without delay (they do charge by hours). It took them ~5 hours to finish the whole moving, and cost 1100 in total. Considering our previous move from a smaller house (without piano/washer/dryer), which also cost ~900, we think their price was very reasonable and quality was better. There was a small incident, where a connecting drain pipe to the washer overflow pan was broken, but the management team was very responsive in dealing with it afterwards. They sent tech out next day (as our house closing is couple days away) and took care of it! That's a pretty high mark in our eyes, as they not only tried hard for good work, but also stood behind it.
Description of Work: They did a full house moving for a lightly loaded, 4-bedroom, 3000sqft house, including a uplift piano, washer and dryer. We did pre-pack pretty well though.

We moved most everything out of our old place to our new place ourselves. However, we then came to some bigger, heavier items. We got some down the stairs of our townhome, while marking up the walls! There were a couple of other heavier items that we could tell weren't going down, without us inflicting major damage on the walls or our own bodies! Added to that we had some large outdoor plants that needed moving. Of the moving companies that we called, On the Go was the most responsive and most reasonable from a cost perspective, without also imposing a 4-hour minimum cost that some companies wanted to charge. They came and moved the large items down the stairs in embarrassingly (to us!) easy fashion without marking the walls! Everything got moved (large items, plants, some additional smaller items we still had at the townhome) efficiently and timely. The whole job - from leaving their depot to get to our townhome, packing everything up, driving to our new place 35mins away, unpacking into the new house and driving back to their depot - took 3 hours. The 2 guys we got were both friendly, knowledgeable (of tight spaces!) and fast workers. We would definitely use these guys again. In fact next time, we think we would do less moving ourselves first and get them to do most of the move!

Good communication from initial response, estimate, confirming appointment the day before, day of packing/moving Polite, courteous moving team. Moving team was cautious in protecting both homes including putting down walkway pad, putting up padding in the stairwell, and the front door. Despite that we did get a few nicks and scrapes on the stairwell walls. Lead mover explained the list of charges for the day, walked through the math, and gave us time to look it over and ask questions. Generally, great job packing delicate items such as stemware. Packers took caution to wrap our knives well and made it clear which were knives so we were not caught off guard when unpacking them. The only broken items: - Two lamp shades, crammed in a box - A ceramic serving platter, in the bottom of a box The biggest problem was mislabeled boxes which caused delivery to each room to be slowed (we had to open up and inspect several boxes to decide) or delivered to the wrong room (we've had to move around several boxes later).
Description of Work: Packed and moved belongings from our 3000 sq ft house to a new one 30 minutes away. Delivered furniture and boxes in the desired rooms.

These guys are strong, fast and careful. They moved the entire contents of our 3-bedroom house in about 5 hours, with no breaks. We appreciate how hard they worked. Would hire them again.

Move went perfect!! Every item was moved carefully and efficiently. No damage to anything. The furniture was all re-assembled and located in exactly the spot I wanted them. The movers even helped me to re-configure a desk to fit in the new spot it needed to fit in. I wasn't expecting their help with that, but it saved me a ton of hassle and was extremely helpful. We couldn't be happier with the way the move went. A+
Description of Work: We had a challenging in-house move to do in order to reorganize our house now that our family has kids. Several large items needed to be disassembled or hoisted over a loft railing due to a tight spiral staircase.

They arrived promptly - in fact, a little early - and loaded their truck quickly and efficiently. I asked them to emphasize the safety of my furniture over speed because I was willing to pay more to have everything arrive in perfect condition. Moving into my condo was slower than moving out. Everything had to be brought up one floor, and at least one piece didn't fit in the elevator and came up a stairway. The move was almost perfect. One piece, a large and expensive wooden cabinet, was slightly damaged. A piece had chipped off one of the feet. They immediately told me about it, and I was later able to glue the piece back in place. This spoiled a perfect rating.
