Just give them directions and leave the moving to them........$100 per hour for 2 men and a huge truck can't be beat. Scott and Ed did a really great job.

After our house sold we had them come back to move our furniture and artwork (see first review 8/9 when the moved our "stuff"). Eugene and his crew again did a great job. FAST! Polite, careful. And made themselves available on short notice I definitely would use them again.

It went well. The crew was polite and fast workers. Nothing broke! And they dealt well with complex instructions (take this, don't take that, just put that in the garage).

The job was done very professional and the movers were very pleasant and easy to work with. Besides being charged and extra 15 minutes for the driver getting lost, we couldn't have been more pleased.

I emailed this company from their web site and received a detailed response from Jason about the company's fee structure, etc., as I had requested. A couple of days later, and after speaking with a couple of other companies, I decided to call this company to get answers to some questions. I spoke with Jason on the phone and I relied on his professional judgement to assist in deciding in how many of his movers I should hire, and how long the move might take. He helped me to decide that I would go with 4 movers and two trucks ( a 24ft truck and a 17 ft truck). Turns out that that was a great decision. Jason's crew included Eugene and three other workers. They were fast, careful, and efficient with our belongings. They wrapped everything with blankets and ensured that everything was safe and secure. They completed my move in 8 hours and never stopped to take a break. I highly recommend this company.

My father was moving to a retirement home and downsizing, and I only had a few pieces of furniture that needed moving. The furniture was initially going to be used in staging, but the real estate agent said they had to go ... pronto. I was able to secure the services of the company for the very next day, and on a Sunday, too! The team was very professional: they showed up on time, moved the furniture without a hitch, and were very professional and pleasant to work with. I will use their services again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

On The Go FAR exceeded my expectations for what I think would probably be classified as a "difficult" move. We were moving from an apartment to a new home but also had 3 storage units that needed to be emptied at a local facility. Jason made walking through the research process quick and painless -- it was very clear to me what my hourly charges would be, when the move would start, etc. Nothing left to chance. John, Eugene and "Seely" (sorry if I'm not spelling that right) were the 3 man crew that showed up with 2-24' trucks on time, as promised, at 9 a.m. They descended on our apartment and had all of our stuff (including really heavy queen sized adjustable bed and electric physical therapy mat table) out of the apartment in just about 3 hours. The storage units proved to be more than the guys could get done in a day with just the three of them so, at around 7:30, another 2 man crew was sent with a 12 foot box truck -- "little yellow". With the 5 of them moving along, the storage units were finally emptied about an hour later and then it was on to our new home. THAT was quite the spectacle! Stuff from a 1200 SF apartment and a 3500 SF home (the stuff in storage) -- some of it packed REALLY heavy and much of it needing to go down a flight of stairs with a landing -- was all in the house around 1:15 a.m. Yes, it was a long day and, no -- not everything was re-assembled. That was just moving in the stuff for the most part -- I still have to get someone in to help with reassembling things like the dining room set (including huge hutch with ridiculously heavy glass shelves), curio cabinets, etc. but that's minor in comparison with just having all our stuff actually here where we can get to it when we get to it! I have to say that watching the 5 of them off loading those trucks and RUNNING into the house with hand-trucks piled with stacks of 4-5 boxes, gently setting them down and then sprinting off for wherever I would indicate stuff should go -- it was a well-oiled machine. These guys clearly like working with each other, they're respectful of their customers and are appreciative when you "feed and water" them during their long days. With new hardwood floors, I was concerned that there could be damage but they protected them well with neoprene runners and cardboard. Not a scratch on 'em! They also wrapped much of our stairwell to protect the woodwork too. I was also pleased that, anytime a box looked damage, someone came to find me and we opened the box right there on the spot to make sure everything inside was OK. I can't do more than tell you that if I were to move again, I would hire On The Go again in a heartbeat! My kids will be calling them when they move around Thanksgiving time -- and I wouldn't recommend ANY business that I didn't think highly of! Thank you, Jason and the On The Go team! (p.s. I didn't actually check Angie's List for mover reviews before hiring On The Go Moving -- wish I had because I now see there's a senior discount I didn't know we could have gotten! Regardless, it was worth what was paid! Don't be scared to use these guys!)

Hired the company to pack and local move for a 2500 ft2 home. I requested competitive bids from 3 local firms, 2 were available with the 3 week notice and responded. This company estimate ($2250) was about 30% lower (less time and lower hourly rates) than the other firm and On the Go Moving had good reviews on both yelp and Angie's list so went with them. They executed the move on schedule (one day to pack and one day to move) and nothing got damaged in the move. The final cost was about 10% higher than the estimate (still 20% lower than their competitors' estimate) but I was there the whole time and they worked hard the entire time so, did not question it. I would recommend to other's needing local moving services.

great. Guys worked well as a team. Polite and thoughtful. Worked late and after consulting with me brought in third mover to help with unloading. Boxes ended up in correct room which was really important to me.

On the Go Moving was extremely responsive with same-day service, called before they arrived, arrived and completely work on time & efficiently. They did a great job.
