On The Go Moving & Storage

Hired 3 guys and a truck to move my largest furniture into storage. They arrived 10 minutes early and got right to work! They do charge an additional $25.00 for plastic wrap, which was not indicated in the price...I declined. They also charge for travel time, which they told me of before scheduling. For two and a half hours you are charged for three hours (travel time). They were expert at packing the storage unit..very skilled, and took extra care placing cardboard to prevent damage. I would definitely use them again!

It went very smoothly. They arrived on time, worked quickly to load the truck, were highly professional (despite having to go up and down numerous stairs), and completed the move without incident. I really appreciated their help!

I was THRILLED with the service provided by the On The Go Moving team. Their guys were fantastic! Ours turned out to be a large, fairly complicated move, in that much of our furniture was too large to go up the stairway of our new house. The guys had to lift some pretty large pieces up over a second floor balcony just to get them upstairs. Then they had to carefully navigate them into place. Not a thing was scratched or damaged in any way. And all the guys were so nice! Very customer service oriented, great attitudes and so thoughtful about how to get everything in the right place. I've already recommended their service to two friends. And I will definitely call them again if I'm in need of movers. It was a true pleasure doing business with them.

As the estimate was done over the phone, the cost ended up being over $200 more. Do ask for references and do call them prior to making arrangements. Yes, they were highly awarded on Angie's List, but I was not happy with the work. The driver got lost at both ends even with a GPS. They caused scratches in my furniture. I would have been happier HAD they HAD the nerve to TELL me and not let me find out AFTER they left. Three times I asked if they had gotten everything out of an outdoor shed and three times I was told they had, only to find out they had left a bicycle, step stool, and other miscellaneous items OUT IN THE RAIN.

I had 3 movers come out to move my 2 bedroom condo. They arrived a bit early and finished in exactly 3 hours. I was very impressed by efficient they were with loading and unloading the truck. A small and cheap lampshade was damaged during the move which was pointed out by the movers. A few days later and we've yet to find anything else that was damaged. I would definitely use these guys again if I needed to do another move.

Excellent service. Hard working with quick movement. The 3 guys did not stand around. They all kept working, and acted very professional. I will use them again in the future. Price was a little high, but worth it. Nothing was broken or damaged.

They were good. I was quite satisfied with the price and service.

They called several times to confirm, then arrived early and started with my directions just on the phone. By the time I got there they started on the rest. They were very organized, so good about everything and worked so fast and efficient. Wrapped things and were careful and considerate. Arriving at the new place they put everything wherever I said and worked 3 hours over the time we had planned. They were awesome. I will use them again.

This is by far the best moving experience that we have ever had. The four guys (chris, Jeff, Jason, sorry I forgot the other guys name) arrived on time. They were meticulous in protecting the furniture and the houses. We had refinished the hardwood floor in the house that we moved in. I was afraid that the floor may get scratched or dented with the moving. These guys left absolutely no single scratch. I would highly recommend this company and would hire them again in one nanosecond.

We needed to move several very heavy items that we could not lift while combining two households. I researched several movers on Angies list and decided to go with onthegomoving.com because of the outstanding feedback on Angies List. And after using their services, I can understand why they are receiving such high marks. Customer service and communication was absolutely outstanding. There were no surprises - everything Jason agreed with me on the phone is exactly how the move contract went. The movers were respectful of our items, before during and after transport. We were stressed because we had several antique items we were concerned about. The movers covered the items up - we never had to provide any instructions - they did it automatically. They were also super nice. I can't say enough how happy we were with this move. This is absolutely, positively the best moving experience we have ever been through. It was such a breath of fresh air to have a company that does what they say they will do. Thank you Jason and team - keep up the great work!!!!

Complete household move. About a 13 hour day. They were energetic from beginning to end. Would run up and down steps even towards the end of the day when they were very tired. No time was wasted and I felt I got my money's worth and tipped them at the end. I would recommend them highly.

These guys were great! Scott and Ed did a bang up job on a big move. I only wish that we had had a bigger truck. Had to make two trips from our old house to the new one. The movers themselves, Ed and Scott, were strategic, efficient and courteous throughout the whole move. Thumbs up!

I called only a couple days ahead after moving date changed. Jason set us up for Sunday morning service - perfect day (pleasant surprise). 3 man crew led by Scott was prompt, quick, courteous, and very professional. They got done in the time I hoped for (3 hrs). Bellevue based and service oriented. A pleasure...

The whole experience was excellent. From the start, when I called to get a quote, On the Go provided a very high level of attention to detail. Jason answered almost all of my questions before I even had a chance to ask them. Also, I received a variety of quotes, but Jason took far more time than the other companies to understand what exactly we needed to have moved, which helped me feel very comfortable with the estimate provided, both in terms of number of movers needed and the number of hours it would take to complete the move. Additionally, one thing I noted was that On the Go includes all of their protective materials in their prices, while some other companies will charge extra if you want things wrapped. As expected, the time spent on undersatnding our move and the fact that protective supplies are included meant that the estimate was very accurate and there were not any surprises at the end of the day. The great service continued throughout the day of the move, with a team led by Scot and Ed. They called me when they left the yard, did a walk through with me before they started packing the trucks, and another one after the trucks were packed. At the new house, they took the time to make sure each box ended up in the correct room so that we didn't have to spend a lot of time re-arranging later. Additionally, it was pouring down rain the day of the move and not a single item was damaged or broken (this great care of our belongings included a white sofa and a couple of sentimental pieces that have been passed through the family for a few generations). I would definitely use On the Go Moving again and highly recommend them to others.

What a fabulous experience I had yesterday with Jason, Scott and Dustin!! My elderly dad was scheduled to move into his retirement apartment on Dec 28th but for various reasons, no arrangements had been made for transporting his furniture as of the 26th. It should have been impossible for any moving company to help us with so little notice - we're between two holidays and it's the end of the month, right? But On the Go saved our bacon!! Jason responded to my initial email with lightning speed, and - gasp - offered to have his crew show up at my dad's house the next morning. I had to delay until the next afternoon because I couldn't be ready as fast as On the Go! The morning of the move I called Jason twice, requesting to add more pieces to my first inventory; he was so gracious, and kept his crew appraised of my increasing load. Scott called me twice to update me on his arrival time with the truck - much appreciated. Upon arrival, Scott thoroughly explained the terms, conditions and pricing to me and my 90-years-young dad; his respectful manner with Dad was also much appreciated. Scott and Dustin then went to work - fast, professional, and conscientious!! The entire job, loading in Renton and unloading in West Seattle, was accomplished in 2.5 hours (less time and less expense than we originally expected). I can't say enough about On the Go's responsiveness and how much I appreciate their overall attitude: friendly and eager to help!! Thanks you guys!!

I will use On the Go Moving again in the future and would recommend them for local moving.

On The Go Moving has been great to work with. They've been very punctual, friendly, and able to get moves done on short notice. They have always done a really good job. They are great to use for local moves within the state or just from one neighborhood to another. They are an excellent alternative to those big, expensive moving companies. Their prices are very reasonable. My moves have usually involved multiple stops -- i.e pick up at one location, stop at a storage facility at another location, and then go to final destination. They have always accommodated this with no problems. The only problem I had was with them packing paintings. I had let them know ahead of time that there would be art works to pack, and I was assured they were very experienced with this. However, the guys who showed up to do this really had no idea how to pack oil paintings. Since the paintings were going to be in storage for some time, it was important that they be packed correctly, and the guys really didn't have a clue. So that was really the only problem I've encountered. This is a fine company to work with and I'd definitely use them again.

Fast, punctual and friendly!! John, Ed, and Rene were great!! We had to move from an appt. to our new house a few miles away. They arrived right on time and were friends from the get go. Almost everything was a breeze for these guys to move but there was a couch that I thought would never fit through the tiny stair well. Surprisingly, the guys were some how able to slide the couch through the gap with little trouble. The unload when great and they made sure to communicate with me as to where everything should go. I would recommend this company, especially these three guys, to anyone who needs a moving company in the Seattle area. Thanks fellas, fantastic job!

I called and spoke with Jason. He was very professional. We discussed the details of the move. He covered our best options and what they could and could not move. The quote was clear and concise and we booked the date. Several days before the move, Jason sent a confirmation email. On the day of the move, I got a call from Scott advising me that the team was on their way. They showed up exactly on time. Scott was the move Manager. While he and I walked the house, his team started laying down floor and wall protection and setting up the move. Scott went through all of the paperwork, confirmed pricing/service and we signed the paperwork. The truck was loaded by 2 and they were on their way to the new location. After a long day of moving a lot of furniture, there were several pieces that did not fit through doors into the rooms desired. They tried numerous ways and angles to try to make it work. Despite their fatique, they patiently attempted to get the furniture into our desired locations. Tall (and HEAVY) pieces were carefully moved up our stairs with a low ceiling. All furniture that was taken apart was carefully put back together. After all was done, Scott walked through every room with us to be sure that the furniture was placed where and how we wanted it. We had some additional changes that they quickly and gladly made to get it just the way we wanted. It was not until we said they were done that they considered the job complete. Scott, Ed, David and Rene did a fantastic job. I hope we do not have to move again for a LONG time, but if we do, it will be with On the Go Moving.

The move went great and smooth. They were quick and efficient. I had called just a few days ahead because it took awhile to get approved for the apartment. They came in 2 hours less and 200 less than the estimate. This was great. I would use them again. I have a really bad experiences with movers, this was nothing like that at all.

I email Jason received an email and phone call within a day. I explained that I did not have a large move and what was needed. Jason confirmed that they could do the job and sent me a bid within a day or so. The bid was very reasonable. On the scheduled day, the crew called prior to the starting time to let me know that they were on the way. Excellent work, wood floors was covered prior to moving anything, great care was taken with my furniture The job was completed in the schedule time. The price was exactly as quoted. I would recommend and use again

This was a total leap of faith - I needed to move my father and step-mother into assisted living in 3 days and had no time to research moving companies. Jumped on Angie's List and pulled up moving companies; found On the Go Moving - read the reviews, looked at their website and called the owner. He was able to schedule the move for Friday morning which was perfect. The two gentlemen that showed up were professional, careful with the belongings and furniture, and very efficient. When we arrived at the assisted living facility they were very efficient about getting the furniture moved to where I needed it and all the belongs. All in all this is an A+ for Angie's List members for giving me the great rating this company deserves and an A+ for On the Go Moving for their exceptional service with this move.
