Established in 2008 Started in Bellevue, WA, On The Go Moving and its owners are a product of many years of experience in the moving industry. Coming from many different backgrounds, the small but innovative team of management came together to form a moving company with nothing but the clients needs in mind. This company has proved to be not only backed by knowledge and experience, but heart as well. On the Go Moving strives to be as efficient as possible without compromising the quality service that you deserve and expect. The key to any move is good planning. Our trained professional movers are more than capable of performing all the packing and moving of your belongings. Basic Moving Plan at $180 per hour – Includes two movers and one truck. Three Man Moving Plan at $255 per hour – Includes three movers and one truck. Four Man Moving Plan at $295 per hour – Includes four movers and a truck. All of these services are priced according to the number of movers. Each additional mover adds another $55 dollars per hour to the overall charge and each is based on the use of one truck. I was so looking forward for a great moving day, especially after reading all the great reviews about this moving company. Unfortunately I was wrong....there were 3 movers & 1 truck and they promptly got to my house on time which was nice. Renee, the driver was a very nice guy/professional and he was the one who was mostly pro-active when they were moving my household. I highly recommend having Renee as part of your moving crew. The remaining two movers were kind of passive but friendly. So i was pretty much not getting the full effectiveness of 3 movers working even though i was paying a hourly rate for 3 movers. I wish they had sent me two experienced & professional movers like Renee caliber. On top of that, one of the movers decided to make himself comfortable in my new house by using my bathroom without asking my permission! This was unacceptable on having a random stranger use my bathroom without being permitted to do so!! The last crazy thing that happened was related to dealing with the person in charge of coordinating my moving....his name is Scot Kruse....That guy was so disrespectful to me & really need to learn on how to speak to their customers! I was on the phone with him to get some clarification regarding the company policy on their start time on moving day which include the time when they leave their truck yard but unfortunately the phone conversation ended up going sideways. He was condescending & rude...no need for me to details the specific words he used here but I really hope no other customers will have to go through the same thing as I did. Being Professional & Respectful are one of the key basic competencies companies should strive for!

Our entire team at On the Go Moving knows it is an expectation to always ask a customer’s permission to use their restroom if they absolutely must. I do need to clarify that in your review you state that you spoke to Scot Kruse the day of your move, indicating that he was disrespectful. However you were actually speaking to me, Jason Sexton, the owner of On the Go Moving. I apologize if I gave you the perception that I was being condescending and rude. We were only able to speak briefly about your confusion and frustration regarding the billing start-time. It was not my objective to come off condescending when I pointed out that this billing information is in the first paragraph of the email we sent you (and send to every customer) regarding pricing and move details. My objective was simply to let you know that we did send you this information via email and to inform you it is also posted on our website. When you told me you hadn’t actually read the beginning part of the email I did ask how, in the future, we could make it clearer for our customers to see this information because I genuinely wanted to know how to improve our customers’ experience. I used SnapFix for this job. Caitlin with Angie's List was amazing. Caitlin exceeded all expectations. The team from On The Move was exceptional as well. The team showed up ahead of schedule with advanced notice, they were professional, and quick to get the job done. When the work was completed they confirmed everything was as expected. I could not of asked for better customer service from them. They were worth every penny.

In my life, I've made good choices, but this was one of the best choices I've ever made. From the initial contact with Jason to the final box being brought in, the team was fantastic. The 3 man crew showed up exactly when they were supposed to. Despite a difficultly shaped driveway and very little space, they manuevered the truck to the best possible position and promptly organized everything that I wanted done. They went out of their way to make sure that all our things were carefully and safely loaded. The truck was filled to capacity in short order and then unloaded just as quickly and carefully. They made sure that our things were placed where they were needed, and took extra care to ensure that our property was not damaged in the process. They also managed to do all this in just under 8 hours. Amazing crew!! I would not hesitate to use this company's services in the future. Thanks Renee, LaShawn, and Dean!

On the day of the move, 3 movers showed up at my condo on time. They got a little lost, but that was my bad directions. They worked efficiently and packed things quickly. They disassembled my bed, but did not bring all the tools they needed and ended up using one or 2 of mine. This wasn't a huge deal. They did knock a few walls and dent the banister in the condo slightly when moving a very heavy couch from upstairs. It was raining that day and they took caution to wrap things to protect them from the water. They wrapped the TVs and even wrapped the wood furniture. When we arrived at the new house (literally a brand new home), I asked them to focus on safety over speed. The placed protection over the banister, but only on half. They ended up bumping the unprotected half and leaving a small ding. I asked them to wrap the other half of the banister and they did. I noticed when they removed the protection from the banister, it left a slight mark. One of my chest-of-draws ended up having some water damage on the top. Not sure how this happened as they wrapped it in plastic. I also noticed that the bolts on the bed after they reassembled it were slightly stripped. All things considered, there was very little damage. I would have preferred no damage, but you take what you can get.

The movers, Mark & Jason, arrived on time and ready to work just as I got home with the rental truck to load. I identified the furniture and boxes that needed loading and they expertly loaded the truck. I explained I'd be driving the truck over 1000 miles to San Diego and they took great care and effort to ensure the truck was loaded properly for the journey. In addition to sharing their expertise in how to ensure the load remain secure and not shift in transit, they also provided tips on the best process for unloading the truck on arrival. Mark & Jason took pride in their work and completed their task within the 2-hour minimum window. Upon arrival in San Diego, the load was just as it was when we left Redmond. Nothing had shifted during the trip. After unloading the truck at our destination, I was extremely pleased to find that not a single thing was damaged in the least, which included mirrors, dishes, and glassware. This was the second time I've used On the Go, and each time has been a pleasure. I look forward to using them again in the future, and recommend them without hesitation.

Positives: 1) Our stuff made it to the new house with no damage. That is the important thing. 2) The crew lead Julio was professional, and the crew friendly. 3) I didn't pay for the use of their truck, but they used it for a few items without charging me. :-) The big minuses are: 1) They were not fast. You are paying by the hour, so it seemed like they were taking as much time as possible for organizing and loading the truck. Frustrating since in my prior 7 moves with other companies they were paid by weight, so they were quick and efficient. This crew had a lot of slow time, were taking apart furniture more than necessary, waiting for each other to finish an assembly, etc. And when we were done at the origin I said I'd meet them at the new house and drove off (1.8 miles away).They took 25 minutes to get there (and it took me 7). Not sure where they stopped off on the way. As a result, this costed me much more than expected. It took over 6 hours vs. the expected 3-4. 2) The coordination to schedule the move was bad. I kept getting asked over and over for the details. And although I had asked for labor only, the person emailing me kept confirming labor + truck for the work. I finally did get just labor, but I was wondering up until they arrived. 3) You have to pay for travel time (which is normal I guess), but their travel time estimates are double what the actual time it takes me to make the drive. To go from Snoqualmie to Factoria (19 miles, and <30 minutes), their phone said with traffic it would be 50 minutes. My phone said 32 minutes with traffic, but the crew chief said it was slower in their truck. 20 minutes slower?

Moving can be stressful - these guys made it easy. They were a little later than I expected but they had a long way to go and it was moving day so I was actually also running late. No real complaint there. When they arrived two very polite young gentlemen stepped out of the truck. They both shook my hand, looked me in the eye and said they were going to make my difficult day go better. I started to feel some relief. I walked them through my stuff and told them what I needed from them. They listened carefully and then proceeded to do everything I asked while getting my stuff loaded in about 40 minutes. They took my advice and followed me to my place so I could take the better route (had to avoid state fair traffic which is a nightmare right now). Then when we got to my storage unit they took all of about 15 minutes to unload again doing everything I asked with a "no problem" when I asked it. I was so relaxed by the time it was over that I almost forgot it was moving day. The cost for these guys is 100 per hour and you pay from the time they leave the shop till when they get back. So my recs to all of you is to be organized and have your boxes labeled and a clear idea of what you want. But the flip side is it was obvious they were not wasting my time and did everything as quickly as possible. I would definitely recommend them and give them an A rating. Thanks On The Go!

overall bad experience. the estimate is about 3-4 hours move since we don't have much furniture and we moved all the boxes ourselves, but it ends up 7 hours. honestly the mover are hard working guys, but we cant say they did a good work. couple of things we are not happy with the company: 1. move quality: a . after the move, our bookshelf can't be used as the pins to hold the shelf was missing, and the earthquake strap was broken. they didn't tell us the pin was missing till we asked for it. b. after the move, we found out a bed rail that seems belong to the king size bed in the master bedroom mysteriously showed up in my daughter's room's closet, no one ever communicated that to us c, when them moved refrigerator, the thread of the valve connected to the refrigerator's ice make was damaged. d. the original estimate was 3-4 hours, but it ends up to be 7 hours, one of the main reason is that that can't park their van on the driveway of the new house, driveway is about 20feet long, so spent extra time carrying all the furniture from the street to the driveway then to the house. and they told me they spent like 15 minutes trying to park our driveway is a bit challenge, but we had a few other delivery from different company, no one had issue parking in our driveway though. 2. after move experience a. at the end of the move, I tried to argue about the hour to be 6.5 hours as I don't think I should pay for the extra time they spent for parking and then because they could not park the car, they have to spent more time to carry the furniture. I do think as the customer I have the right to argue. the mover agreed, but the owner threaten to send me collection bill. b. the mover gave me a paper copy which has the price for 6.5 hours, I paid the amount by check. c. then we found out some of the damage and the missing stuff, the owner was pretty rude when I called over the phone, he told me he won't take any claim till I paid the difference. the communication via email was OK though, and what's funny the invoice sent back to the company was complete different from what I got at the end of the move d. we paid the difference so we could get the claim processed, they actually did send someone to look at the damage and send us the replace part for the missing pins, those are good. then we found out the valve that connected to the refrigerator was damaged. that was so hard to get them to agree to compensate on that. first they claim it's not their reasonability for any damage on appliance, then they trying to tell me it's was not caused by them. finally, after calling the plumber who proved the valve was damaged , they agreed to pay half of the price on it. e, as we mentioned our experience to a friend two month later, he suggested that since the invoice I got at the end of the day only has 6.5 hours, II have the right not pay the extra half hour. then we send an email to ask for refund, the owner reused to handle it and I have to say his wording was pretty unprofessional. overall very bad experience during the move and very unpleasant experience after the move. I won't use this provider or recommend to anyone else either.
Description of Work: we packed and moved most stuff, only need them to move heavier furniture from 3 bedroom house to 4 bedroom house 2 miles away.

The two guys showed up on time and immediately went to work. They loaded our Moving Truck with all of the things that were packed and ready. The next morning my Mother was Hospitalized and told that she would not be able to go on the road to our new home (North Carolina). I was not able to load the truck with the existing boxes so I called Jason and explained the situation. Jason had 3 guys meet me that day @ 5:00pm. They again showed up on time and within 15 min. they had the rest of the stuff loaded. Jason and the crew offered their apologies regarding my Mother. Jason, told me that because it was boxes and no furniture and I'm disabled he wouldn't charge me for having 3 guys come back out to our home and load the boxes. I was more than happy with my experience with On The Go Moving and I would recommend this company to any and all people that need assistance with their move!!

Great. We ordered 3 guys and their 26 ft. truck and the guys were punctual, professional and hustled! It was a hot day and they were visibly sweating. Really appreciated that the guys worked hard and they were reasonably priced. There was a small ding to our stair newell we found after the move, but we easily patched it up with some wood filler, so not dinging them on that. Overall, would recommend these hardworking fellas.

I found On The Go Moving here and on Yelp after calling several places for an unloading service in 6 days. We were moving my Mother-in -Law from Oregon to Washington with a U-Haul. They had an opening and I took it, many places were already booked and this move was a quick one and we did not have the luxury of scheduling in advance. Registering was easy through their website. Communication was speedy throughout the process, working with Jason. Then the day of the unloading service I booked went so smoothly. Mark, one of the guys called and told me that they could actually come a little earlier than my appointment window time. Mark and Ryan arrived and they were very efficient, worked non-stop, and what I appreciated the most was their personalities. They both were engaged, communicative, and polite to us and to the other elderly residents of the senior apartments that we were moving my Mother-in-law into. They were happy! It was wonderful to work with these two guys and I would not hesitate to use On The Go Moving again for whatever our next adventure will be.

On The Go Moving did a spectacular job from the first phone call to the completion of the move. I was nervous about hiring a mover due to concerns over cost and efficiency. Once they move started they allayed all my fears with their professionalism, efficiency, attitude and care when handling our household items. Francisco, Julio and Chris were the epitome of what service providers should be - customer satisfaction was their number one goal. I would also like to give kudos to Jason for his help with scheduling and with his "spot on" advice that a 3 person move team would actually be more cost effective and efficient. In summary, I couldn't have been more pleased and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The initial contact with On The Go Moving was by telephone. We quickly switched to e-mail dialogue after I logged on to their website. We were able to fix on a definite appointment for the service along with a schedule for a '17-foot truck and two movers a week in advance. All of this was based upon my providing a description of the size of the condo and a fairly detailed list of items to be moved. No site visit or estimate was done and I felt that, because this was to be a fairly small move, these were not necessary. On the Go's advertised rate was $ 100/hour and I felt, although this might be a bit on the high side, it might be worth it based upon the company's high rating by Angie's list members. Moving day came and all went extremely well and smoothly. The movers arrived on time and went to work immediately. They were professional and cheerful. They had Dolly's, hand trucks, wrapping plastic, padding, and tarps to cover the condo's carpeted hallways. They were done with pick-up and loading of the truck in two hours and we proceeded to the drop-off location. Delivery of all items, placement of furniture and boxes per our instructions, and wrap-up took a little over two hours, mostly because of elevator problems at the drop-off location. Again, very cheerful, helpful, and professional work by the two young movers. Total final cost was $ 500 after a $ 50 discount for Angie's List members was applied. Note: on the Go Moving begins the clock for its charges when their truck leaves it's facility and they add driving time on the other end for the truck's return to its facility. In our case this amounted to thirty minutes on each end for a total extra of one hour. We were very pleased with this service and would definitely use the company again without hesitation.
Description of Work: Pick-up, transport, and drop-off of furniture and miscellaneous household items from a city condo to an assisted living facility about thirty miles away in the same city.

Jason was prompt and asked the appropriate questions to provide an estimate. His estimate was spot on - we discussed 3 movers, 26 ft truck and approximately 6-7 hours of labor. That was exactly correct. He was prompt with responding to phone calls and emails and even after I had forgotten to mention an Angie's list coupon, he reimbursed and sent me a check for the value of the coupon! The movers were great - they called when they left their site and arrived right on time. They were very accommodating about my 2 dogs and cat (that I was very concerned would get out/lost). They worked quickly and efficiently (no wasting time since it is an hourly rate). They took great care with all of my furniture. I felt that they were treating my belongings as they would their own. They wrapped the dressers and furniture that needed the wrap. When we got to the new house they were very patient as I decided where to put tv's/dressers/beds and even rearranged the guest room twice until I found the configuration that I liked. I was so pleased with their work I offered to buy lunch (they did not take a lunch break or ask for one, but they were working very hard). I have found no damage to any furniture. Everything arrived as expected. I would recommend Jason & On the Go Moving and I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: On the Go Moving moved me from my 4 bedroom tri-level to a 3 bedroom tri-level home in the Kirkland area. I had 3 bedrooms, one living room and kitchen totaling at least 70+ boxes, 2 queen bed sets, glass patio table and a small piano.

The movers were on rime, very fast (good when you are paying by the hour) and very professional. Would use them again, in fact already have them coming back for the next phase of the move. They boxed up some items we hadn't had a chance to get to and in general made the move go very smoothly.

I have moved many times throughout my life, and I can honestly say that this was quite possibly the BEST experience I have ever had! The company communicated to me prior to the move and answered my questions, the driver let me know when he was on his way, and they even arrived a few minutes early! The 3 men that moved us were friendly, polite, cheerful, fast yet still careful, and extremely helpful with every bit of our move. From the moment they walked into the property to assess the job, they began working. The entire 4 man crew was engaging, respectful and delightful to work with. Of course we were not completely packed and it didn't faze them one bit. We had 2 pieces that needed to be moved from a very difficult spot, they figured it out, shared their plan and executed it flawlessly. They never stopped moving actually running at some points. Shortly before the truck was completed loaded the rain started, once we arrived at the new house torrential downpours. They laid protective flooring, 2 men stayed inside as 2 stayed out and unloaded the truck so as not to track any additional dirt in from the rain. After everything was in the proper room then did a walk through with us to make sure everything was where we wanted and had no hesitation in moving if again. This team took an extremely stressful situation and made it almost fun, but then again, I don't think moving is ever fun, but they did a good job! I would definitely recommend this company again and again!

The process was smooth from booking to finish. I used the online form to book which worked great. I requested 2 guys & company truck for my move. The team (Mark/Freddie) were ontime, worked fast and were respectful of my belongings. Very hard working guys that kept up a fast pace for 3 hrs of loading & and unloading. I liked that they brought & drove their own truck. I would use them again. It would be nice if they gave you a discounted rate for the transportation time but it was clear when I booked that I would be paying $100/hr even for the hour they would spend commuting.

I wanted to move several pieces of furniture between two houses, including several couches, chairs, desks and dressers. Jason responded promptly to my inquiry, and was able to schedule me when I wanted. (The other movers I contacted never responded). His crew arrived on time, were courteous, capable, careful and professional. The move was complicated by two ferry rides which the crew handled well. I was very pleased with the service.
