From the very beginning CertaPro (Jessica and her team) did an amazing job; they were all very responsive...from the moment we got the quote (which was almost half of what some other companies quoted), to picking out colors, to the painters showing up (Obed and crew) and finally to CertaPro's construction team (Blane and Frank). Also, to note...our home is not a quick and easy home...while it's not super large on the inside it is sprawling on the outside...there were 4 colors involved and a clear coat for wood doors, etc and in some spots our home is 4 stories and the crew handled it amazingly well! I would absolutely use CertaPro again! Thanks Jessica and Team!!

Great job and service. Good preparation and masking off of the house and barn. Willing to work long hours and over the weekend to get things done - if needed. Excellent painting and cleanup. If anything missed they are absolutely willing to make it right. I felt very comfortable with the entire crew.

CertaPro provided a detailed estimate which included wash & prep as well as caulking any split siding. They scheduled the work with advance notice and completed all carefully and efficiently. Their estimate was in line with two others I received which also did not have as much detailed prep that CertaPro included.

They did a great job. They were efficient and professional.

After being the cheapest quote and having three neighbors use them with satisfactory results two summers ago I thought it would be a good choice to use this company. While getting an estimate for my exterior house painting I met Jason, who was friendly and answered all my questions, but I learned later he lied to me probably just to sell me into using their business. First, I asked how many days it would take to do the entire job and he quoted me "4-5 days". I specifically asked if Certapro contracted their work out to a third party contractor and he told me "no". He said everyone of their 12 teams were employed directly with Certapro and medically insured each one of them. I'll get back to where those lies came to play. One day I drove home to find a strange truck parked outside my house. People were working on my house without my prior knowledge. I called Jessica, the owner, to ask why I wasn't better communicated and I was unhappy since I normally take a shower after my workout and without prior knowledge someone could've easily looked inside my bathroom window. Anyway, she apologized but I also didn't want them to work on my house in the rain. In the forecast there was maybe one sunny day and the other days were all rain. I understood they were pressured to do as much as they could since the season was more wet than typical but it is my house and wish it was again, better communicated, that they were planning to paint at all that week before work started. The crew packed up and left and didn't hear back for another month and a half. Thought things couldn't have gotten any worse but they did! First Jessica emailed to ask me if the next week I would be fine with starting the paint work. I said "sure" but all week long nobody showed up. This is when every single day in the forecast was sunny so there shouldn't have been any tie ups from the weather. Finally the following week a crew showed up of maybe 6 men on the first day but they mostly did prep work. They told me that one of them wasn't going to be on site because his wife was having a baby. Maybe it was a language barrier but then they came to tell me nobody would be working on that weekend. They had the whole crew come out on Friday and they painted the majority of the primary color on three sides of the house, minus the front, trim and doors. Well, after that day things progressed at snail pace! Only two men worked on my house for the majority of time afterward and they came to my house on the weekend to ask permission to work on the house. I thought nobody was coming to work on the Memorial Day weekend. They worked on Sunday and Monday but skipped Saturday. I was fine with the idea but while they were at my house for three hours on Sunday I didn't see very much progress. It happened again where they came on Monday but it was only a gradual amount of work that I could see done. Now we're fast forwarding a few days and I see my poor plant with many broken branches. One of the guys claimed he fell off the ladder and the plant broke his fall. He didn't report it to anybody and apparently didn't report it to me, his coworker or Jessica. This is when I started asking questions. So, these guys don't work directly with Certapro and in fact work for Caribbean Painting which is a third party contractor. This is also the same day they painted and had opened my side door of the garage without me being home. Now I'm not sure if they opened it on their own and just told me it was unlocked. We never use that door and are pretty good about locking everything so I was a bit skeptical. What's odd is they had already started painting it without my knowledge about the door being unlocked first. Let's just say the timing of it just didn't sit right with me. Caribbean Painting has only been in business for four months!! Four whole months with probably very little experience in exterior since it had been raining all winter and spring! Not a good sign at all. They sprayed painted my gutters and that's when I noticed they also sprayed paint on my newly changed roof. This was the length of my single garage door. My roof was replaced last summer for $23,000 and they had ruined it! Never had I seen a roof painted while the exterior paint was done. This is like someone painting your brand new car! Obviously I called Jessica who came over with her interpreter Matthew. They said they would paint it to color match my roof. My roof is a dark charcoal color, almost black, but I was not happy because I didn't know if that was going to revoke my warranty on my roof. I felt like they shook off the problem as if it wasn't a big deal because the way they talked to me was as though it was only an aesthetic reason. Guess we'll see if my roof ever leaks before my 40 year warranty to see if there are more problems to consider with this company. They should've fixed my roof and replaced all the painted shingles and laid new singles to make me completely satisfied. The guys climbed up and scrubbed the roof with some kind of "special brush". Now my roof has a brown color instead of the dark charcoal because Caribbean Painting didn't paint it but at least it's not as noticeable if you don't know where to look. But my neighbor who lives across from my house at a higher elevation told me there was more paint that was on my roof! This was even worse than the one I could see above my garage. The amount of paint they had on my roof were about the whole length above a one car door garage by 2 ft. The other side was worse at least 8 ft by 6 ft of paint. Obviously I was in disbelief that they didn't even consider looking at the rest of my roof without me asking to see if they got paint elsewhere. I can't see every angle of my roof so I made one of the painters take a video walking everywhere on my roof to ensure nothing else was there. They went up there again to scrub it but it's still brown after almost a month has passed when they said it'll darken and become closer to the roof color. Liars! During the entire week I told them when they could work on the front door and I even left it opened and unlocked but they never listened to me and were always so surprised when I told them I had to leave to pick up my kids from school and to bring them to their after school activities. I had my own class to attend in the mornings so they really had to work with my schedule but was a good 3-4 hour window. They were getting a bit frustrated when day 4 came around and couldn't work on my front door. Not my fault they always worked on something else instead. After what they did to my roof and plant they thought I was being ridiculously picky about missed areas that weren't painted. In a way I wanted them to pay me back for the damage they caused to my roof and I had a right to be completely satisfied with the work they did. Though I know I will never be satisfied because they should've changed all my shingles to make me 100% happy. The owner of Caribbean Painting, Jorge, finally decided to show up on the second to last day. I was tired of having their company on my property and damaging things at my house. He was thinking I was being a ridiculous customer with an assortment of complaints and unwilling to pay until somewhat satisfied. Well, they painted the decorative wood part above my door the wrong color and I guess it was a language barrier because they said it was a lot of work to paint it. Not my fault! Also not my fault for ruining my bush and painting my roof!! Jorge had real attitude and basically said I inconvenienced him and his crew for not keeping my front door open for his workers to work on for the last couple of days. I told him it was ridiculous to think I was going to allow strangers access to my house without anybody at home. As if he would hand me the keys to his house at any given time! Another thing he said to me is "It's only the outside of the house and you shouldn't care that it's not perfect". Wow, seriously, that shows he really doesn't care and only wants his money with a sloppy job. I'm paying $5k and I should expect perfection!! He also told me the majority of his crew had a bigger commercial building so he didn't care about my house and I was wasting time to work so many days on my house. Well, if his crew didn't paint my roof and maybe if he had supervised his workers it would've been done faster without mistakes!! Plus they wasted four days not listening to what my schedule was everyday. My exterior paint job was 11 days long! Never use Caribbean Painting or Certapro Painting. When I asked Jessica if there's ever a supervisor onsite or who checks in periodically she said "no". That means these inexperienced workers are damaging houses without anybody managing them. What's worse is the language barrier so nobody is there to interpret either. It's just set up to be a disastrous outcome. Run far away from them.

Went really well. Younger guys, but they were very professional and very easy to work with. The house was done on time, looks good, and they were really careful about both masking and cleanup. Would recommend them easily.

CertaPro Painters is absolutely outstanding! They took great care in preparation of our house, did many checks with us, the owner of the company even stopped out, and the end result was exceptional. I would hire them again in an instant!

Certa Pro was right on time for their appointment to give an estimate for the work. When we accepted their bid, they offered a color consultant who was very helpful in selecting body, trim, and door accent colors for our house. After selecting the colors, Certa Pro was able to get to the house within a week, and the crew worked incredibly hard for 4 days to complete the job (including working both days of the weekend). They were very responsive to making sure we could get in and out of the house while they were working, and did a great job of cleaning up each day.

In all, things went very well. Steve came out for a thorough estimate, getting the contract signed and beginning work went smoothly, and it took just about a month from estimate to final payment. The crew came out when they were able based on weather and their schedule, and most of the work happened to fall when we had a visitor, but CertaPro was careful to minimize inconvenience to us. There were some communication disconnects and the painting crew was not quite as thorough as the estimator told us (for example, he specifically pointed out a badly peeled spot and said how things like that would be scraped, but it was just painted over). We needed minor carpentry work on our siding, and somewhere along the line someone decided that meant deck work, but I was able to intervene before a large, unrequested deck repair took place. We definitely had to stay on top of the details, but the big stuff was handled well. The paint crew saw to all of our requests in the final walkthrough and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. Overall, we are very pleased and would consider hiring again.

We were pleased with the entire experience. Service providers came when they said they would come. The administration part of the process was timely and professional.

Excellent work and the crew was top notch

The owner provided the estimate and showed up the day the work began, at the conclusion and then again when we had a bubbling paint issue. The work was completely promptly and within the time frame. They cleaned up everyday and left the house and yard looking new! They have had to return twice over the two years after to fix bubbling paint. Still don't know why a few places bubbled, but they were right on it and said to call again if it continues. Definitely recommend them!

Very well. Jason came out and did the estimate. Very professional and detailed. Jen did the overall scheduling. Mike was the lead when we actually got underway. Exterior stain of entire house (pressure wash first, of course). Pressure wash and stain deck, too. Beautiful work! They were very good about keeping me informed, but there was one hiccup. The day they needed someone home to allow front door to be open for painting, I found out that morning. Would have been better for me to know the day before so I could plan for working from home a bit better. Other than that, great experience, great work!

We were so pleased with the results!! Eli, Saundro, and Antonio were very professional. They were efficient and very tidy. We really can't get over how well everything was done! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jessica Belman's team. Jessica was very easy to get ahold of and provided us with a detailed report of all that had to be done and at what cost. It was one of the smoothest interactions I've had with someone I needed to hire to do work at my house.

Great service. I was in process of selling condo in Seattle but I was in Cleveland. They completed the job on time. When I arrived to stage condo I saw they had done a terrific job.

We were under a timeline as we were putting our house on the market to sell. Although the whether was uncooperative, the painters were able to get the job done on time by working late on days when we had no rain.

Our project was fairly large and the crew was here for about 2 weeks. They pressure washed the outside of the house, caulked seams, replaced some rotting wood, primed where necessary, and painted. The crew was always on-time and extremely friendly. My two year old flirted in a friendly but annoying way, and they were always happy to reciprocate (I would have told him to go away after the 15th "Hi" in a row :)) The result was excellent. It's like we have a new house!

Our communication and transaction with CertaPro Painters was the smoothest and most enjoyable of all the vendors we used during our small renovation project. I am known to be very picky with an acute attention to detail, and given that, I thought their painters did a fantastic job. I was relieved. On top of that, their painters were friendly, but professional, and even in the way they carried themselves around our condo, I could tell that they took pride in their work - and it showed. Every step of the way was smooth - from Steve coming out and providing my husband with an estimate the next day; to meeting the painters and Jessica on the first day in order to confirm the work we needed done; to going over the odd question or concern over the last four days; to even the call I received from Jessica (while she was at the condo) to go over any questions and concerns I had had over the weekend. She made sure that we were satisfied every step of the way, even if it meant that she had to drive out to ensure the work was being done to our specifications. Every step of the way, CertaPro met and/or exceeded my expectations. We are incredibly happy with the work we received and although we may not be buying a house again in the near future, we would definitely use CertaPro again if we were to.

They were quick to come out for a quote. During the walk through to determine the job, Steve was very thorough and asked lots of great questions. They were able to start immediately and work within a tight timeline to meet our needs. There were a couple mistakes with color matches, which were unfortunate, but Steve worked hard to get these corrected immediately. The guys who came out for the job were prompt, clean, efficient and did a great job. They even worked over the weekend. When they finished, they cleaned up everything and made no mess. Very pleased with the service from CertaPro.

Very well. The crew was top notch. Its the first time on our 25 years together we have outsourced painting. We were well engaged and advised and the work crew were good people. They told us what to expect and offered us choices e.g. use oil or latex undercoat for priming on the understanding that the oil choice may require moving out for 2 days, which it did and we did. Very detailed and finished to our standard. Thank you.

Fantastic--the estimate was more detailed than any other I received and everything was done as specified. They were also very accommodating--they were scheduled to do our project 3 weeks before Christmas but we ran into some foundation issues and had to delay it. Jessica kept in touch and once we knew when all the work would be done, got her team to come in 3 days before Christmas Eve. Although the work was scheduled for 4 to 5 days, our painters were able to finish by 6 pm on the Friday before Christmas Eve. I then walked the project with them and could not find any problems. Also, the entire space was pristine--you would never have known we had painters in. Although they were not the lowest bid we received, they were also not the most expensive. From here on out, we will be using CertaPro for all our painting needs.

Entire process, from obtaining an estimate to the finished paint job was an excellent experience. The three men on the paint crew were outstanding. They came in every morning and went straight to work. Took small breaks and left each day mindful of the fact that we still were living in the house. They moved all furniture and replaced as they went along. Everything was cleaned up or put aside so that we could remain in the house. They covered everything and their painting was meticulous. An excellent total experience.

The crew was on time, very courteous, and worked extremely hard. The job had a slight snag with paint adhesion and CertaPro brought a Sherwin Williams representative on-site to figure out which paint to use. It only slowed down the project about a 1/2 day and the new paint adhered just fine. They worked long days and finished, I believe, about one day earlier than originally expected and on budget. The final result looks fantastic. The taping and prep job they did made the final look great, no odd trim edges at all, very clean and crisp. We are VERY satisfied with the end result.

We didn't hire the company. Their offer was competitive but the experience was typical big-company: too much separation between doing the estimate and the actual work. Most importantly, though they sent someone out promptly to prepare the estimate, they didn't send the estimate until after the (reasonable, all the other bidders came out later and sent bids in time) deadline we communicated explicitly. Bid was lower than others.
