Hi, I am Kelli Cruz, the owner and CEO of Cascade Fire Solutions in Puyallup, WA. I have been in the hearth industry since 2006. Cascade Fire Solutions is licensed, bonded and insured. We service most makes and models of fireplace- gas or wood burning. We no longer service pellet stoves and inserts unless the unit is one that was purchased from us. Our specialty is fireplace remodels. As you can see from our portfolio we take the project from start to finish. In other words we do the demo work, run gas lines, sell and install the fireplace and finish it off with stone work. We also repair and rebuild chimneys. I had a very good experience with the initial repairman that came out and addressed my problem. He was knowledgeable and courteous. The other repairmen that came out to install the new parts were the same. The contact person was very courteous as well. Other then it took a few more weeks to get the parts and fix my fireplace. I was satisfied with the experience.

I had to call the main office to schedule myself after their initial inspection. I paid for service in advance and the office manager failed to call to schedule service. The guys did a Great job servicing our two gas fireplaces

At first I was skeptical after reading some of the bad reviews, but they impressed me. When I made the appointment, I told the scheduler I needed service for my Ravelli pellet stove. It started out poorly when the technician came out in a private sedan, no identification from the business, he reeked of smoke, and did not even offer to take his shoes off or put on booties. He told me he had 29 years of experience and no stove was a problem for him. He stayed over two hours, could not figure out any codes, no service was performed. He eventually told me he could not do anything until he had the right interface, and he would do research. One positive is that he found a clog in my vent pipe. Basically, I lost three hours of my day, the service I had requested was not performed, and I paid nearly $300. I feel there should not have been any charges and then only when the service had been properly performed. Very frustrated and disappointed

Was quoted for 2 chimney repairs and had only one completed. Contractor swore he only had a contract for one chimney. Never received a call from head office or the person who presented the quote.

The guys who came were polite, professional, personable and proficient! They took time to show us how the unit works and educated us on it's function. They were clean and we enjoyed the service. We love our new, efficient and beautiful fire insert. We enjoyed a cozy evening watching the fire that night.

This company is extremely unprofessional! They scheduled an appointment and never showed up. They said the person that set up appointment went home sick and forgot to put it on schedule. So they rescheduled but said they would not charge the $75 service fee. The tech came out and said it was a simple reset and it was fixed. He still charged me the $75, but I was okay with it because I thought it was fixed. Over the next week we turned it on twice the third time it went right back to how it was and would not turn on. I called the office and the young girl was really rude, put me on hold but really did not, so I heard every unkind word she said to her Aunt Kelly who is the Owner. I could hear the whole conversation, but when she got back on phone she told me no one was there. They were going to call me back. They never did, so I called them back she said she went home sick and forgot to call me back. I reminded her that was the same thing that happened last time. Kelly the owner finally called me back today and her customer service is even worse than the other two ladies in the office and now I understand where they learned it from. Kelly said they would charge me a minimum of $195 to just come out to trouble shoot and it would be three weeks before that would happen. Kelly said since I was able to turn it on that it was a whole new issue and I d be charged even though it s the exact same problem. Kelly the owner was terribly unprofessional and I decided to hire a new company. We do not recommend this company!!!

Worst experience ever! Tech called 1hr 50m into two hour slot to ask to reschedule appoint, we agreed, tech showed up next day over an hour late to his requested time. Tech did not seem to know what he was doing at all. Tech only seemed to want to charge us more money by saying our fireplace would cost a very large dollar amount for parts or we could replace it for even higher amount. He was here to clean it and verify it was in good order for the winter. Technician was more concerned about telling my wife on how high end homes he works on and that he is friends with rep for our brand of stove and likely the reason he was writing down high prices for parts. We found all the parts online for a lot less than his quote except for one item. He never provided the service we were paying for and after he left I found our stove in pieces. Called their office and they refunded our money and said they would send someone out to put it back the way it was. However they said they would show up to put our stove back the way it was and have canceled again 1hr 50m into a 2 hour slot. I had to turn of gas to fireplace because the tech left it on with the fireplace in pieces and I did not think it was safe. This company should have made it a priority to show up as soon as possible to fix the mess they made. While they did refund our money for the service not performed everything else was a complete disaster. Very poor customer service and with them canceling the appointment made to fix their mess I don?t believe they care about safety either. They were offended when I told them I had to talk my wife into letting their company back into our house to put the fireplace back the way it was and that we were basing their entire company on one technician having a bad day. Really? He was the face of the company in our house and the only way we could rate them was on his work as their rep and he did an extremely poor job and that is being kind. Stay away from this company if at all possible!!!!!
