It had been in need of replacement for a couple years, but other estimates had been much higher and I could not afford it. I contacted URS after reading their reviews on Angie's List and arranged for an estimate. Their quote was considerably lower than the others and I was actually concerned at first, because it seemed too low. I spoke with a friend who is a Realtor and asked who he recommended. United Roofing Solutions was his first recommendation. So, I pulled the trigger. Derrick and Jenn are great. Their office is run well and the communication was excellent. There were some issues having to do with the weather, but Derrick and his crew worked around it and made my job a priority on their schedule. I'd say I would use them again, but because of the job they did, I don't think I'll need them for a long time :)

This was a great experience. Derrick contacted us promptly, came to our home in about 3 days after we called. He checked to see if there was an emergency, which there wasn't. He came on time, he diagnosed the problem, and found a couple of other issues that need to be addressed. He gave a written estimate before he left. His crew came on time, were extremely polite, and moved. They completed the job on time, cleaned up, and totally met our expectations. This was the best experience we have had in dealing with home repair issues. We cannot recommend him more highly.

It went superbly. They came when they said they would, they did everything that they said they would and they left the place cleaner than it was when they got here. The roof looks great. They added skylights and did a wonderful job. I couldn't be more pleased. They did a very fine job. Derek, one the owners, came out everyday, several times. They took care of business and did it very professionally. I got three other bids and I think they were 2nd to the lowest. It was so close and they were local.

Derrick was prompt to appointment and office staff provided quickly a bid for services. Follow-up from office staff was efficient and timely. Work was completed satisfactorily according to detail on original submission for services. Would have liked to have Derrick here for final inspection of the work performed even though his employees were very good in completing the work. Cleaning of grounds and gutters was done well. I would use them again and consider them for replacing the roof when needed.

Derrick, the owner, was here promptly for the estimate, gave us good information, options and talked about the roofing products he would be using. He gave us a written estimate and brochures on the products. United Roofing Solutions has a ten year workmanship warranty and also provides up to 10 sheets of plywood to cover any dry rot for no additional charge. A couple portions of the roof on the ranch style home have low pitch and we were concerned with the use of the ridge vent on those areas. No worry here, Derrick had an option made just for those low pitch roofs! His wife runs the office and she is very helpful. I called and asked for references and they were given to me immediately. I called each and everyone of them and they all were very happy with his work and would hire him again. As I am a researcher type person they gave me the names of the products and I was able to go online and research all the products that were being used. We signed the contract, the next day Derrick dropped off actual shingle samples so we could pick the color. Then we waited a bit for a break in the weather. The crew, along with Derrick, arrived as promised and it took them two days to complete the work. Derrick had them do a couple of extra things on the roof because it needed to be done and did not charge an additional amount. The new skylights are a delight and the access hole in the pump house roof blends in well. They did a good job of clean up and were a very nice and respectful crew. And get this...we have a barn that was roofed a few years ago and Derrick checked it out and fixed some things wrong with that job and didn't charge us a dime (and he used product on it as well as labor). What he quoted us is exactly what we paid. Derrick cares about his roof jobs and he cares that his crew is good. He will do a good job for you. We would hire him again.
