The technician Ronald was polite, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He also gave me a fair price.

Heather was a great technician. She arrived when she said she would, was quite thorough, explained what she was doing, and answered my questions.

Heather arrived right on time (in fact she wanted to come 3 hours earlier because of a cancellation) and got right to work. We chatted about different questions I had about the furnace and fireplace, and she was very knowledgeable, although she admitted that she didn't know the answers to all of my super-technical questions (like the BTU rating of my furnace...). I would definitely hire All Points again for service.

Very impressive. The service woman was punctual, did the actual job of cleaning up the fireplace but went ahead and provided some good tips on how to use it and enhance its utility. We have actually started to use the fireplace regularly after the services were performed.

As with most Angie's List deals, this one had to be scheduled out a month since the company was pretty busy, which was fine other than being a couple days after the weather turned cold, and this is my only source of heat. That's more of a complaint to the way the deals are done though. Heather did the cleaning, she gave me a call that there was traffic and was worried that she would be late. That didn't matter to me at all but I appreciated the call. When she did the cleaning, she explained some of the basics and gave a lot of insight on how i could do the cleaning myself. I hadn't known about how to maintain a gas fireplace and it had not been cleaned since I had the unit installed a few years back, and it had developed a layer of cloudy white condensation spots all over it. Heather got it completely cleaned up and looking like new, and I realized I'd actually forgotten how good it had looked when it was first installed. She explained that the buildup is acidic, and unfortunately had etched into the glass a bit, and to be careful with which chemicals to use for cleaning it off but ceramic stovetop cleaner was a good choice. She also vacuumed under the unit. The only small complaint in the cleaning is that she didn't pull the fan out to clean it, but mentioned that she would have had she seen that it could use it. But, she stayed a little longer to answer some other questions and she also explained how the squirrel cage fan could be detached to give it a thorough cleaning. The Angie's List deal price was a pretty good price for what was done. Maybe it's just me, but I kind of feel like the full price is a little high, but All Points seems to have a better price than the going rate for gas fireplace cleaning, so I didn't mark them down on price. Overall though, Heather did a great job, was really friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, so I'd definitely use them again and would trust them for other work. \

It went well. I had Angie's Deals for furnace maintenance and fireplace maintenance. Heather came to the house and quickly determined that the fireplace draft needed fixing, so she did not charge us for the maintenance (I applied that Deal to have her work on my own fireplace at a different house). She then checked and cleaned the gas furnace. She was quick but thorough, and was happy to explain what she was doing. I had started hearing noises in the furnace in another house, and Heather came out to look at it and do a maintenance. It turned out that a motor was failing, and she did not have that part but would order it. Before that appointment came around (they were booked out for a while), the motor started really failing, and she came out to replace just that part. She returned later to finish cleaning the furnace and replacing a few more parts. She also had a look at my thermostat wiring, and helped me reattach the thermostat to a crumbling plaster wall. Though it was getting late, she stayed to do the maintenance on our fireplace as well. She cleaned up as she went along, and did a fine job. I would be happy to have All Points do furnace work again.

Great, they were scheduling about a month out but the day of our appointment they were very prompt, courteous and efficient.

The positives: The technician - Heather. Her work and attitude were impeccable. Left the fireplace looking better than when it was first installed. Would wholeheartedly recommend her for her knowledge and positive attitude. The negatives: This is not a reflection on All Points. Or maybe it is. A caveat emptor: I think Angie's List should spell out more clearly that signing up for a deal does not assure you of quick service. I had to wait for a month for an appointment. While that in itself was ok (I had not had the thing serviced for 5 years, what's another month - I thought)... the problem was the appointment landed the day before Thanksgiving. And hence my "B" grade for punctuality. Was $75 worth it in the end? No, I'd have rather spent whatever the normal cost is and gotten this over with in a timely fashion...

It was good. They stayed within the big deal price. They did a good job. They're easy to schedule and they're on time. They did a good work.

Furnace fan sounded strange, quit working and house got cold when we realized something was wrong. called All points at 6:30 on a Tuesday evening. they said it would cost $250 for an emergency service call. We agreed. They showed up at 7:30; said it appeared to be a dirty filter charged $271.01 ad left. An hour later, the house was still cold, the furnace made the same squeal so we called All points again. The service guy came back, said the fan motor was bad but under warranty. THE WARRANTY WAS ONLY GOOD DURING BUSINESS HOURS OR I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $600 TO HAVE HIM FIX IT THEN. IN ADDITION TO THE $271 I HAD ALREADY PAID. THE NEXT DAY, THEY PUT ME AT THE END OF THEIR REGULAR LIST TO PROVIDE THE WARRANTY. Really lousy service

Heather was fabulous! She was late for our appointment, but had called twice during the day to explain the situation and keep me informed, which I appreciated. She performed the maintenance in a friendly and efficient manner. Great provider!

It was awesome. Sorry, I don't remember names but the woman who came to fix our fireplace was friendly and efficient. She did a great job and was clean. Also explained what was going on the whole way through the process.

Heather from All Points was just so awesome, she tuned everything up, gave an estimate on when the pilot housing might need to be replaced, cleaned and spiffed and made the fireplace look and work like new. I'd definitely call them again for furnace--Angie's should offer an add-on option: fireplace and add-on furnace for $X amount, would have been great to have both things handled at once. Thanks!

Wow - I don't usually get excited about service calls but this was an exception. From the start it was smooth, professional and a great value. Within minutes of purchasing my Angie's List Big Deal I had a call from the vendor to schedule my appointment. The day before the technician called to confirm time and find out if I she could come any earlier. The day of she called to let me know she was on her way. While here she went above and beyond and cleaned every part of our fireplace. We have crushed glass and stones - not the standard ceramic logs - and usually cleaning these is not included. She made it sparkle like new. I couldn't be happier. She also laid down tarps to make sure no soot or dust impacted the area. She was quick but thorough and very delightful to interact with. I will definitely be calling them again for future furnace and fireplace service needs.

I called to schedule an appointment and the earliest they had was mid December. I was able to find another company to provide the same service next week.

They called the day of the service to see if I was available earlier and I was so that worked for me. She came out and serviced it and said it looked good. I had them come out a year ago and they were great. I won't be looking for anyone else. They always answer my questions and are timely. I trust my furnace with them. I highly recommend them.

After I bought the voucher, I called and they said it would be $30 extra because my house is far away from their business. However, I do live in King County and they said on their web site that they service King County. I guess they service King County but for certain parts of King County they charge more?

It turned out that because of heat shortages in Seattle that day Heather couldn't make our appointed time BUT she called in a timely manner and inquired would my schedule allow for a later time . I was open the entire day and assured her that wouldn't be a problem . As promised she called asap and arrived at our new appointment time . She did a extremely professional job and the fireplace looks as good as the day it was installed . I would recommend All Points highly to any who asks .

Heather was very professional and did an excellent job. She identified a few problems that she fixed very easily. She also let me know that one of the igniters was on its last leg but thought I might be able to get another season out of it. I liked that she did not just insist that it needed replacing immediately. I will definitely use this service again. She also let me know that she repaired furnaces which I will use when I have need for furnace repair.

They were great. They came out and they were very punctual. They were very friendly. They looked at my fireplace and cleaned it up and it looks great now. She looked at my furnace and checked it out. There was added value service because I was not expecting her not to do that. The thermostat was not showing a digital read out and she helped me figure it out. I did not pay any additional fee.

The tech was incredible. I am often the only one home where a contractor comes to the house and it always makes me uncomfortable to be home by myself with a male I don't know. I was thrilled to see a female come to my door. I learned more about heating and air in the 45 mins she was at my house than I did from the dozens of contractors I have come to my house in the last 20 years. I leaned over her shoulder the entire time she worked and she truly seemed to enjoy teaching me what she knew. It was enjoyable! She was patient, informative and kind. She didn't push any products or services on me however she informed me of the products and services I provided. We are blessed to have found All Points Heating & Fireplace on a deal offer. If we have ANY heating or fireplace needs in the future, they will be out first call because of the experience we had during this call. Thank you!

The company contacted me promptly to schedule. No work was done due to my mistake: I actually needed more extensive work than what was covered in the big deal.
