Procraft Windows and Doors

It was great working with Procraft from start to finish. They arrived on time when giving the estimate, worked with me on options to reduce the price to meet my budget and arrived as scheduled to install the new windows. I have shutters installed throughout my home and made a special request to not remove these because it would inevitably damage them. They were able to work around this limitation and install all six windows in just over 4 hours. Their attention to cleanliness was admirable - they used tarps to shield the home from dust and cleaned up everything at the end. I wouldn't have noticed they had been there if it wasn't for the new windows. They also did an immaculate job framing the windows which made it very easy to paint the trim when all was done. I'll definitely call on Procraft when it comes time to replace the remaining six windows in my home.

Joshua was knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us determine the best windows and doors to replace our existing ones. He patiently answered all our questions. He called to make sure the installation went smoothly and that we were satisfied. Josh came to do the measurements. He was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. The crew who installed the windows were punctual and willing to work around our schedule. They worked quickly and made sure we were satisfied. When our tile window sill was damaged from the removal of the windows, they replaced it with a beautiful mahogany one. We would recommend Procraft to anyone.

The work was good but some seams visible from drywall structural work. Windows are good. Only problem was 2 years later when we wanted to change out 1 of the 2 remaining windows. Company rep. said they could/ would not come out if bill was less than $1000 dollars. This is after spending $18,000 and hold they would. I'm not sure if I will use them again.

Larry, our salesman was prompt, courteous, personable and very professional. He clearly described the product, and the process we could expect, from start to finish. We received a call before the technician arrived to let us know he'd be on site. He was fast and efficient and was careful not to damage the landscaping. The windows were completed and installed within the estimated timeframe. They fit perfectly, are well-built of clear fir, and even include weatherstripping. We are very happy with the product and service.

Procraft had scheduled the windows to be installed over 2 days, their installers were very quick and actually managed to finish all but the basement window on the first day. Unfortunately in the basement we ran into problems, unknown to me we had hydronic heating installed in the walls downstairs instead of under the floors, it was a problem that the Procraft installers couldn't deal with themselves and I had to hire a separate contractor to move the hydronic heating. That said there was really no way they could have known about this issue and they were very helpful and flexible in arranging another time for the install (trying to arrange two contractors at the same time is a nightmare). After the hydronic heat was moved and the window installed they needed to reinstall new drywall over a few days which they did and the extra for the drywall install was pretty reasonable.

Procraft Windows was terrific! They were very professional and easy to work with. They wanted to make we got exactly what we needed, but nothing more.

The 3 man installation team showed up on time. Very professional and excellent trademan layed painters clothes in all areas where walking through house master off all rooms to control dust finished on time. Great clean up.

Our experience with Procraft was very good.We had some windows replaced two years ago and we were happy with the workmanship then,so we called them again.

Procraft's sales rep did a great job of showing us what they had to offer. Manufacturers, window & door types, colors, etc. Their installation manager personally checked all measurements, window perimeters, hardware, etc., in our home. Installation was smooth, professional & clean up was great.

Overall a great experience. We felt slightly pressured when discussing "closing the deal" since it was only the 2nd time meeting with the salesman, and the first time we viewed the product. But, it was more than made up for by the quality of the installation and the speed of the work. They removed and replaced 13 windows and 1 door in under 7 hours over one day and the work looks amazing. We wished we had done this years ago.

The installation team was very professional. Did a wonderful job. However they did not inform us that one of the doors had a superficial damage that milgard would replace. We didn't know there was an issue until milgard called us to inspect.

Job was done as agreed to in the estimate and exactly how we wanted. Their experience and professionalism was reflected in the fit and finish of the completed job--overall quality of the install was excellent. Care was taken to cover furniture and protect the interior of the rooms. The installers were prompt, finished on time, courteous and left nothing for us to clean up.

Some time ago, we installed a DIY pet door panel for sliding glass doors. It did the job, but it was not at all weather tight. During the winter, cold air was always seeping into the room. So we finally decided to get a professionally installed cat door for our sliding glass door. This meant that both panes of the sliding glass door had to be replaced with an entirely new door. It was not cheap. I was surprised it cost as much as it did, but the finished product is very nice. It's very weather tight--the room is so much warmer!--and it's also much more attractive. An additional bonus is that the door has a cat-proof lock when I don't want the cats getting outside. (Our cats quickly figured out how to unlock the previous cat door.) Working with Procraft was really easy. First they came out and took measurements. That took maybe 10 minutes. We got an estimate, put down a deposit, and waited a couple of weeks for the door to be ready. Once it was ready, it took a few hours to do all the installation. They took away the previous door and did a fair job cleaning up debris.

Last year was the third round of doing windows and doors on our house. We started out with Procraft about four years ago with french door and side panel and one window. The french doors replaced a door and a window so there was framing to do. The salesman helped us with the decisions about how to place the door and we were thrilled with the results. There was one door that I could not polish to the clearness I expected and I finally decided I had dust trapped between the double pane. They were out shortly to investigate and I had a new window in the door soon after. Two years later we changed out a window in our bedroom to a sliding glass door and added a window, Again, the changes were amazing to the room and we got exactly what we needed. Last year we replaced windows in the bedrooms, living room and dining room. No cutting through walls, but we did change the way the windows opened and consulted with the salesman on options, relative costs of different options. Work was done on time, installers cleaned up after all of the work and everyone was very responsive. Last year we changed out windows in the other bedrooms, living room and dining room. And this year we are already talking to them about doing the basement windows and finishing off the house. I don't really know if I could have paid a little less with another window company. What I do know is they have been great with advice, responsive sales and installers and have delivered everything that was promised. This year, 2011 they did our last round of windows, The salesman came, gave us an estimate and when we were ready came back to confirm and sign. No pressure at all. He was actually apologetic. After looking at our prior files and jobs, he realized that he may have underbid the work we wanted. As it turned out all was well with the way he quoted it. The windows followed quickly and all was installed in one day. The works as usual was very good and we are happy with the results. Thanks, Procraft!

Prompt. Dependable - one window treated badly. Rough damaged window came back to do extra for free.

They were very prompt and responsive, from estimate through installation. They protected our carpets and furniture and completely cleaned up after themselves. It was a long and difficult job, but they never complained and were always cheerful and friendly.

It started with the initial visit which Lawrence was very friendly, & honest about his company & service. The installers & measurer were on time, worked quickly, & completed a nice job. We are very happy with our new windows.

I've had this company install approximately three windows in my home every year... this being the fifth year. Procraft personnel measured and gave me an estimate. they scheduled the installation and came when they said they would. they were neat and clean and efficient. I've been very pleased with their work every time!

The work was not an emergency, and it was beautifully done. We were very pleased with the results and our now energy efficient home.
