Procraft Windows and Doors

Procraft deserves its high rating. They "walk the walk". They installed storm windows on all our windows 11 years ago and did a great job. Now, 11 years later, and a draft free house, Steve came to our house and figured out how to make an adaptation we wanted. We had decided to remove the screens and needed the upper windows stabilized so they would not fall down with the screen out. Steve volunteered to come to the house to look the situation over, he was prompt, helpful, clever and had it all done in less than 2 hours (14 windows were involved). They have a great product and customer service . There was no charge ("We believe in taking care of our customers", he said.) We would use them again.

Nice company to work with. They did measure twice and give us a proposal to agree to before letting us know we had to cut one of the window sills larger to meet code (extra$$) but their service was great besides that.

Chris, Robert, Kevin and Brandon did a professional, workmanlike, and on time job installing thirty-two line-item windows over four days. They were a pleasure to have in our home. We look forward to seeing them again in April for the installation of a 9ft Bifold Door. Could not recommend Procraft more highly.

This is the second project I've had done by ProCraft. The first included my front door and kitchen-to-patio sliding door. I hired them again for this job because they did such a great job the first time. Good price and excellent work. I wouldn't use anyone else if I had another project.

Robert and his crew Nyke, Harris and Brandon did an amazing job with my window. I had a specific design I wanted for my walk out bay and they did an amazing job creating exactly what I wanted. They were professional and finished the work on time.

My home is a 61-year-old, Ralph Anderson-designed custom Sunset Modern-style building. The original windows were all frameless, single-pane glass that were caulked into place at the time the home was built. Aside from a few windows which were replaced in the 1980s, there were more than forty huge, single-panes of glass on this building - four of which are in a clerestory on the roof, nine of which open and another nine of which are doors. That's lot of glass. Not only were the single-panes loose after 61 years (they rattled every time a train passed), they also allowed so much thermal transfer that it made three-quarters of the building impossible to heat in the winter. Needless to say, this had to change, our winter heating bills were astronomical. My wife called Procraft and Tim, their expert appraiser, came out and measured all this weirdness - and came up with a quote that was extremely reasonable. We accepted the quote and scheduled the job. Exactly at the time they said they would arrive, Chris, Cody, Scott, Jake and of course Tim showed up with masks on and a truck full of glass, and set to work. This was such a big job that it required three days to complete - but at the end of every day, the crew cleaned up the entire job site and left everything tidy before quitting time. The results are stunning. Combined with the staining the crew performed on the sills (some of the wood was so old it broke on removal), the house looks better than it did when it was finished in 1960. I can't recommend this crew highly enough.

The father/son team of Cody and his father were a stellar installation team, really professional looking results. We had some really large, complex window installations and they made it look easy. All parts of the process from quote to finish went extremely smoothly. I would absolutely recommend and rehire them, this is already the 2nd time I've hired them for a job! -Adam H.

Wish our experience had been as good as the others! We do not recommend Procraft. We have had problems with them from the start. We had them come out in August to give us an estimate on door installation...paid our deposit, and then were told the doors would be in Dec 29th. Wow. Finally got them installed--sort of, on Jan 11th. The installers didn't put the holes in right for our double doors, so they could not be locked securely...then they noticed the second door handle was the wrong one. So we had doors that didn't secure and a missing door handle. The installer called his boss (John) who said he'd reorder the handle, and it would be there on Thursday (this was Monday). On Wed, another person called us to schedule a time to come out to fix the door (so it could be secured). When he came out, he said it should have been an easy fix for the installers who did it the first time...and he didn't have the door handle. John emailed me the next week and said the handle would be in 'soon'. The next week, he emailed early in the morning and said he'd tracked the door handle, and it was 'out for delivery' and he'd get back in touch to schedule. He did not. I waited several days, not wanting to bug him, and finally emailed him and asked what was up with the handle. He said they'd tried to deliver, and he was closed, so they sent the handle back to the company. He only found this out because I emailed, and he followed up. He said they promised to expedite delivery, and then he'd be back in touch. I was livid, he was only following up because of my email, and had no idea. I asked about this and he said, and I quote, he does hundreds of installations and sometimes 'things fall through the cracks'. It is Feb 4 and we still don't have the door handle. Hopefully if you decide to go with Procraft, you won't be one who 'falls through the cracks'.

Robert and his crew were OUTSTANDING. They showed up on time and got right to work. They were courteous and quick. The quality of their work is impeccable. They all went the extra mile to ensure that everything was perfect before they left. It's so easy to tell when people take pride in their work and these gentlemen were no exception. I will definitely be hiring them again for future projects.

I used Procraft to replace all the windows plus the back door on my house a good eight years ago. The door to the detached shed needed to be replaced and so I thought of them. Please do note they have a minimum charge of $1500 for new work, which ended up being fine since that's about how much the door cost. They came out quickly for an estimate, helped me pick a door that suited my needs and scheduled a time that was convenient. The installer that came out is one of their best guys - I wish I could remember his name! In addition to installing the new door, he also fixed the back door which had started to warp a bit and when closed had a small gap, no charge. They also took away the old windows which I had kept when they replaced them eight years ago, again, at no charge. Their installers really know what they're doing. Since I was already doing things with them, I ended up having one of my windows replaced as well which had partially broken due to a rock hitting it. The installer was there about five minutes before his scheduled time and completed the task extremely quickly. Overall, very satisfied with the extra mile they went and the expertise and speed of the installs. There were a bit of offset in some communication about when the new window would be available - I ended up calling them to ask when it would arrive and it had just arrived so they likely would have called me in the next day or two. The doors/windows they sell aren't cheap but they are good quality. Overall, very happy with the work provided and would go with them again.

The whole crew at ProCraft was great. The work was expertly done and exceeded my expectations! My 1950's home is not square and the installers took the time to make the windows and frames look as straight as possible.

I was looking for a company to replace all the windows of my house. I reached out to Procraft and Jeff came over to take the measurements and explain all the trade-offs between the different types of windows. He was very professional and very helpful throughout the whole process. Very responsive also over email, we worked well together to finalize the quote. At the end, I decided to go with another company because the price was cheaper (3-4 grants less thanks to an sale they had), but I will definitely reach out to Procraft again if I will ever need a window job.

Procraft Windows is a great company to work with. I was in need to open up several new window openings and got quotes from several window companies. Procraft's quote is the best and they also coordinate electrician, which is a big plus for us. The crews were very nice and they delivered high quality work. They are very knowledgeable in their work, and they completed their work professionally every day when they were on site. When we ran into some unexpected trouble midway into the project, everybody from the crews to the managers to the owner jumped in and helped to solve the problem quickly and economically! We are truly happy with Procraft Windows!

I couldn't be happier. Procraft was the lowest bid out of three, which was important to my budget. Everyone I talked to or interacted with was extremely helpful and determined to make sure I was happy. The sales rep, Alex, gave me three options for both doors and didn't pressure me at all to go with Procraft. The production manager, John, bent over backwards to help me out on two occasions. The installer, Scott, did an excellent job. If I have any additional need for services that they provide I won't even bother checking with other companies, I'll just go with Procraft.

Everything went smoothly, from punctuality in meeting for an estimate, to the interim communication between me and Procraft and my property manager about my order, to final installation on time and with minimal hassle. The new windows look great and give the home more warmth, comfort, and energy efficiency.

Extremely well. Two installers came by and they did it all in one day, just needing to come back the next day to complete caulking of one window (they ran out of caulking by a small amount). The installers were efficient, professional, and friendly. They spent a good amount of time prepping for the work to reduce dust in the interior and were very diligent in cleaning up afterwards. Overall a great job and at the best price from among 5 companies the provided proposals. Very definitely recommend them.

We have an old house with original leaded-glass (single pane) windows throughout. Procraft installed new double-pane windows with the same leaded-glass appearance as our originals. Their measurements were precise - our old window blinds still fit! Everyone we worked with at Procraft was professional and courteous, answered all of our questions, always returned our calls, and showed up on time. The installers worked quickly but did a very good job. We will be calling them again to update our living room windows. Highly recommend Procraft!

Everyone is professional and excellent at their work. They all have been there for many years and their team work was amazing! Their finish work around the new sliding door (they also got rid of the dry rot) and the garden window is beautiful. I have had windows replaced before and know these guys did the best job I could have asked for. Thank you Alex, Pat, John, Robert and Brian for working so well together to made this experience the best!

Spectacularly!! Exceeded all expectations. Am planning to use them again to replace several more windows and three additional French doors and an exterior door.

Very good. They put drop cloths on the floor and over furniture to keep things clean and worked as a team.

The customer service rep. that meet with us, was extremely helpful and patient. Alex is an experienced and pleasant person to deal with. Answered all our questions and spent a lot of time ensuring we were satisfied with the options he presented. We did not purchase from Procraft because other home projects require us to be a more conservative with our cost.

My overall experience was very good from the beginning to the end. The person who came to do the estimate was a very genuine and nice person as well as extremely knowledgeable. He answered all my questions efficiently and shared information that I was unaware of about the process. The person who came to do the final measure was on time and efficient which is not always the case this day and age. Because this is a smaller company, my replacement job was scheduled into their jobs as a spot became open which was fine with me and everything went smoothly. My windows were installed today and the process was so smooth. The two installers were on time, personable and they did a great job. They were very conscientious of my hardwood floors and granite counter top which I appreciated. Before contracting with Procraft I had two other estimates done. Procraft was a bit more expensive of the three but it was my positive experience with the estimator as well as being a smaller company that made my decision an easy one. I like to patronize the smaller business companies especially when their employees care about the work they do and the company they work for. I am very pleased with my decision.
