Description of Work: Toilet mechanism broke, causing flooding late on a Saturday night. They came out and fixed it since I couldn't find the house water shutoff valve and the shutoff valves at the toilet weren't working. Jim was great and drove all the way from Sumner to Bothell to help me out and didn't charge for his travel time. He saved the day (and the night)!

I called Jim Dandy at about 4:30; they re-arranged their schedule and had someone at our house by 5:45. Their technicians worked until long after dark trying to find the leak, then came back the next morning to finish the repair.

Description of Work: Mike examined my problem, provided a solution, completed the work and suggested future work which I had not observed which is exactly the kind of service I expect in the very best people.

Description of Work: After a dishwasher serviceman determined the problem was the plumbing, I cut the lower wall open to see where the copper, pvc and dishwasher vent came together, and if I wanted to tackle it. The lines went above the counter, so I stopped. Andy's Sam cut upper wall where the copper joined the PVC, cut it apart and rootered the copper and PVC and put enzymes in the lines. Put a new joining piece back in. Reinstalled the dishwasher. Ran the dishwasher. At this point I paid him. At cycles end, we saw it still wasn't draining. He cut the PVC in the crawl space with my concurrance. He rootered up to the previous join and down into the kitchen drain line. Everything was clear. He installed a sleeve over the cut. He said the drains weren't greasy, but only a trickle was going down the drain. He didn't charge me any more for the crawl space work. Kitchen sink drains fine so can't be the vent, it must be the pump isn't pumping with enough pressure. I told Sam to send me an email stating such, so the dishwasher repairman could reimburse me for the plumber cost and he said he would. I received his email of receipt and project details from the time of payment, but not that the lines were not greasy and that the problem was a weak pump that was his final observation and conclusion. I have sent two reminder emails but have not received the statement. The appliance repairman (from another service) has not returned my call. Feeling very frustrated. Low RESPONSIVENESS grade because no email statement requested.

Description of Work: I had a technician come by and flush a tank-less water heater and steam generator. He was on time, friendly, professional, efficient, and I will not hesitate to call them again. Thumbs up.

Description of Work: We had a blocked sewer line. They used a power snake to break up a solified grease mass. They powered through it in minutes and then moved the snake further towards the main sewer trunk line to assure there were no additional blockages. Free of charge, one of their associates came by the next day to run a camera through our sewer line determine why there was a blockage and to assure there were no cracks or roots. The blockage likely occurred due to a sag in our 40-year old sewer line just a 10 feet outside our foundation. The associate told us what to do to prevent or delay another blockage, and suggested options if we chose to repair the sag in the future. Both persons from Jim Dandy were very professional--no hard sell.

Description of Work: We added an outside faucet on our upper deck, extending from an existing one on the lower deck. Everything works well. Quality of workmanship was good, and the plumber was very friendly, courteous and professional. My only complaint is the color of the hose selected to run along the exterior of the house from the downstairs to the upstairs deck- bright blue. The blue looks strange against the cedar exterior. We didn't see the color until the work was completed. and the plumber didn't consult with us as to a color selection. Why not black or even green? But the overall quality of the work was very good and we would use them again.
