+ -1 moreLast month I called Alpine Specialty Cleaning to come to our new office to clean the carpets before we moved in. Having been the general manager of a service company in the past I have had my share of good and bad technicians and employees. I was truly surprised, (pleasantly) and very impressed with the skill, professionalism and with the quality of service that Robi performed when he came to my office. I was so impressed that I made sure to keep his name on file. When the time came to have our carpets at home cleaned, there was no question as to who I would call and request. Again he did not disappoint with his professionalism and the quality of job he did. There was a spot on my carpet that I have never been able to get completely out but Robi was able to make it disappear. I guarantee that whenever anyone I know needs their carpets cleaned or any other service that Alpine Specialty Cleaning I will definitely recommend their company as well as Robi

+ -1 moreOverall, we were very happy with Alpine and the level of professionalism and service they provide. We wish it didn't cost so much, they did it for the same price as last time, but this time we had furniture, I.E. less carpet to clean. But at least our house doesn't stink, our carpets are clean and we'll know who to call next time we need a cleaning. The only reason I am marking price was "higher than estimate" is because of the addition of the enzyme treatment.
Description of Work: We hired Alpine before we moved into our new house to clean all our carpets and were satisfied with the job they did. So we re-hired them this time after our(former)pet sitter's dog peed and pooped all over our carpet. They were able to get us on the schedule within just a few days of our call. The technician, Jim, was exactly on time, and was very professional. He walked through the house, took notes and asked me to point out specific areas that needed more attention. He recommended an enzyme spray to neutralize the odor and was honest about telling me the stains might not come completely out, but would be lightened. He also asked if I wanted the stain repellent spray, but I declined since we're eventually going to replace the carpet. No hard sell from him, which was nice. He was by himself but managed to move the rest of the furniture out of the way and got started. It took maybe an hour or hour and a half, he sprayed the enzyme treatment then cleaned all the carpets. He was very efficient, professional and I loved the way the house smelled when he was finished, much better than it had! The stains did not all come out completely, but were significantly lightened.

+ -1 moreEric called the morning of the cleaning before he came over (earlier than scheduled even!). He did a quick assessment of the carpets and pointed out stains that he couldn't guarantee would come out. He recommended an enzyme treatment due to urine and baby spit up stains. He worked very quickly and was done in about an hour. Even the stains that he didn't think would come out were gone (or at least barely noticeable). The stain guard treatment was a little pricey, but with 2 little ones, I didn't want to risk not having it applied.
Description of Work: Carpet cleaned in 3 bedrooms, hallway, stairs and living room.

+ 0 moreWhen they had them all cleaned they brought them back replaced the carpets and put furniture where it went. They also re-hung the blinds and adjusted the lengths and widths.

+ -1 moreI was pleased with the company. I did not get estimates from other companies so I cannot comment on the price, that is, I don't know if this is a good deal, but it seemed reasonable. They charge a flat fee of around $30 per blind (plus tax, etc.). The only negative I have is they told me on the phone that they would pick up the blinds on a Thursday and reinstall them on Saturday. When they arrived they told me the estimate was wrong and they would not be reinstalled until the following Thursday (one week turn around)
Description of Work: I had 11 wood blinds cleaned.

+ -1 moreI received a coupon in the mail from Alpine and the prices were really good in comparison to many other companies. Scheduling the appointment went well. The staff was pleasant and I got a date and time that worked well for us. As promised, Alpine called the evening before to confirm the appointment. However, Steve, the cleaner, showed up an hour and 10 minutes late. He originally called to let me know he'd be 30 minutes behind schedule, but he was 40 minutes later than that. When he arrived, he offered no apology or explanation. He did efficiently clean the carpets, and the job completed was average. The carpeting in the two main rooms got reasonably clean. However, the stairs, which were in bad shape to begin with, are still pretty dirty. When Steve left, he did not reattach my garden hose (which he undid to use as a water source), and assured me the carpets would dry in 3-5 hours. The carpets were not completely dry for nearly 10 hours.
Description of Work: Alpine cleaned 2 carpeted rooms in our finished basement, less than 600 square feet, and 9 carpeted stairs between the basement and main floor.

That was above and beyond the job that he was supposed to do and I appreciated that very much. We hadn't had our carpets cleaned in five years and they were quite dirty with many spots. Eric was able to get all of the areas looking clean and the carpets now look fantastic. The results really exceeded my expectations of how clean he could get the carpets. I will definitely use this company again and recommend them in the future.

The whole job took about an hour and Eric threw in special enzyme cleaner for free (to de-dog the carpets) because he had some mixed up & left over from a previous job. We were very satisfied.
Description of Work: Cleaned 2 medium-sized rooms (400 sq. ft. combined) and 1 stairway (most of our house is wood floors, hence the small job).

+ -1 moreI received a coupon in the mail and checked on the Washington State Labor & Industries website - they are expired. Also, they say they are incorporated, but no record exists for them. I called the company and was told they would not release their contractor's registration number (''company policy'') and they did not need a bond as they ''do a background check on every employee.'' That is NOT what a bond covers! This is not a compliant company and should not be used. You could be liable for payment of their L&I premiums! Too Risky!
Description of Work: None! I did background research and found they are not a legitimate company.
