Classic Insulation & Pest Control

I was very pleased with their service. They were prompt which I appreciated since my business is in my home. The workers were very professional and very nice to work with. the workers all used safe clothing and masks to protect their own health and that was very important to me. They were very knowleable and let me know all the problems. they weren't the cheapest nor most expensive but the quality of work was excellent. I would highly recommend them and I continue on their maintence program.

It went beyond expectations. First when they came out to do the estimate they made pictures of under the house so they could explain everything to us. What they recommend and what we could afford. The key for us is the tech listened to our concerns and gave us options. When we decided to go with them, they came out on time, they were quick, efficient and then showed more pictures of the work that was done. I will have to mention one issue. Over the years we personally installed various items and had wires zig zagging under the house. They did very well going around them except the audio cable from our computer to the television. Because it was minor we didn't call them and let them know about it. I just went under the house and reconnected it. I mention it because some people may not be able to crawl under their house.

Needed to clean and fix damage to vapor barrier and insulation in my crawl space from mice infestation prior to closing on my house. One of the few pest control / insulation companies left who will give a written estimate prior to performing services. The estimator (nice fellow) inadvertently quoted an incorrect (lower) tax rate, but still made sure the quoted price was honored. The front office personnel were very knowledgeable and helpful. Classic has several Angie's List coupons and they calculated and applied the one with the biggest savings. The workers were very careful not to make a mess in the house and did not stop working until the job was completed about 4 1/2 hours later. The pest control inspector was also very knowledgeable and completed all of his work in an expeditious manner. Everything went according to plan. Prompt, processional, first rate service at excellent prices!

Overall, I highly recommend them. The 10% off through Angies list was a plus. The cost paid for Angies list monthly fee, which was a bonus. I would had never had gotten a discount, if it wasn't for Angies list. Plus, a neighbor had recommended this company.

Todd came out to consult and examine what needed to be done in crawl space under house. Rodents entered from rotted foundation board, chewed through wood to get to crawl space. Damage was extensive to floor insulation and flex ducting. After pest control, repair of foundation boards and flex ducting repaired, Todd came out and was very professional and direct. He even double checked to determine if in fact, there was no current rodent activity even though I didn't hire them for original pest control. I really appreciated that. Todds communication and detailed discussion of what needed to be done in his proposal was very easy to understand. He also worked with me on splitting up the project to help with cost. Classic Insulation did the PSE work to seal flex ducting and main trunk. Also removed and replaced insulation on main trunk. This company is top notch. Always willing to work with the customer. I had already spent quite a bit of money just to replace the flex ducting in entire crawl space which was all damaged. I needed Todd to come in to do seal work and insulate the main trunk. They are very reasonable to work with. Highly recommend. Soon, I will be calling Todd again this fall to complete the 2nd phase of my crawl space and replace floor insulation and vapor barrier. They are terrific to work with. Call them, you won't be disappointed.

Met Todd at the Everett Home and Garden show and talked to him about the issues we were having with rats in our attic and what the various options would be. He was very friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. Scheduled an appointment to meet with him and when he came out to the house. He was very helpful and spent a lot of time looking around the house and talking about the process and options with us. Very pleasant and seemed very trustworthy and knew what he was talking about. He spent about 1 1/2 hours going over everything. The crew that came out to do the work was very professional, on time, and showed us pictures of where the rats were getting in and had us look over their work when they were done. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

My husband came back home on the day job finished, he said, wa I do feel difference. Espcially in our cold master bedroom. It is above the garage and no insulations for the floor and insulations at attic is not that much. Todd came in on Tuesday and job was done on the same week. Torri scheduled my appointment by email and called to reminder one day before. I like the professional estimate todd did. Michele scheduled the trucks service and following document. Two trucks came on Friday with six craws. I can feel the happiness from the workers. Most of them work in classic for a long time. Job did perfect, they know what they need to do and what they are doing. Pictures took after all job finished and they clean up after I work through with the leader. Thank you Classic, it is really a worth investment.

Their work was pretty straightforward. Mainly, it was the price that seemed to go with them. They were also very responsible and very punctual. Their initial cost estimate was very very clear, and it was very easy to follow. The guy who gave me the initial quote gave me a lot of options. It wasn?t just a very straightforward thing, but in several different areas he gave me options as to what I would want to do and how I would want to do it. It is something that I appreciated.

The crew was double the normal size. Furiously hard workers, they completed what looked like a 3 day job in one marathon 14 hour day. It was an incredible feat. The negative part about the job was that they destroyed a ceiling fan towards the end of the day and did not mention it to us, even though we were in the house at the time and spoke to them several times after they had worked in that room. After discovering what happened, we contacted the front office, which was more than accommodating about fixing the fan.

From estimating through to completion, impressed by the professionalism and courteousness of this company. Installers arrived promptly, kept area clean and swept through when finished. Angie's List coupon honored. Would definitely work with this company again or recommend it to others.

The job went well. I was the Realtor for the buyer of this property and the work described was required by the lender and permitted to be performed immediately after closing. The bank retained the buyer's funds for the job and paid the contractor after completion and reinspection.

Found a dead rat in the attic while getting a quote for insulation and our contractor recommended Classic Pest Control. They offered an estimate over the phone for 3 visits (each spaced out by one week) to evaluate our potential pest problem and I set up an appointment for 2 days later. On the first visit, he removed the dead rat and set traps and poison. 2nd visit he checked the traps (empty) and evaluated our attic for areas where the rat could have come in and provided us with recommendations for holes we should seal up. On visit #3 he checked the traps again and offered to seal up the holes (for $75 extra), he also provided guidance on how to seal up the holes ourselves (which was the option we selected). Overall the experience was good, although we probably didn't need the full three visits as the rats have not returned. Will certainly use them again if the rats manage to find a new way in.

We did not hire Classic for this work. The bid from Classic Insulation was comparable to another bid from a company we had been working with to trap rats. All communication and contact with Classic was profession in every way. Tyrel met me on site at the time we arranged for our inspection and provided a thorough assessment of the work needed as well as noticing damage from a water leak which I had not previously noticed. Having no experience with rat infestations, it was very helpful to speak with Tyrel about the work to be performed. I would happily work with Classic Insulation and would under different circumstances not hesitate to hire this company. I am confident they would provide reliable and honest service.

I had three companies come bid this job. This company took the most time on figuring out what had to be done. They were honest and extrememly professional and they were about 15% less than their competitor. The crew that did the work - as on reviewer noted - did not speak a whole lot of English. However, I checked all of their work and it was top notch. They used higher grade materials to secure the insulation than was there previously and the work was neat and thorough. They neatly documented everything. This was really one of my best service provider experiences last year.

Very prompt for estimator and later the 2-man crew. The estimator emailed me some before pictures of the crawlspace. There was a great deal of wood, and not the easiest access. The crew was very professional and easy to work with. They left the area spotless--I almost felt like I could eat my dinner in the crawlspace when they were done!!!

On time, the 3 guys prepared to do the job, did the job per the contract and left. They were respectful of me & my home. I plan to reinsulate the attic later this year and I will call Classic.

I received excellent, detailed information about their services both over the phone and during the estimate. They offered me choices and explained the problems and their services. They showed up for the estimate the day after I called and installed insulation in the attic, crawl space repair and pest control the followind day. Word was great and prices fair.

Tenant reported rat feces in basement. Classic found signs of an early infestation and made necessary repairs to keep rats out of the house. We've retained them for semi-monthly visits. The rats haven't returned.

The quality was fine and they were professional. I definitely recommend that other users compare prices. I saw that they had really great reviews so I had them come out for the exclusion. When they found out that I needed my insulation replaced they gave me a quote. There was some confusion with the coupon so I went back and forth with their office for awhile. They took out the insulation but they didn?t replace it while I was working out the cost. In the mean time, I got a quote from another company that was about $600 less. I bargained with Classic for a week and a half and they finally decided to meet my price. I was told that the other company may have underbid because there is bad blood between the two companies or maybe one company could get the insulation for a cheaper sale. I don't really care about all that, I just want a quality job done for a good price. They did a really good job and I have no complaints. I am currently on a maintenance plan with them for now. My overall experience was not bad but I had a lot of back and forth with the front office. It was not as easy as I would have liked it to be.

The company was very available. Phil Lyons was my sales rep. He came out, looked around, and provided me a very detailed point by point estimate. I was divided my work up btw two trips and had to make a couple of adjustments due to other work going on. They never seemed to mind. They even had a crew come out on a Saturday for my convenience and to gave there guys the option to work. Fernando was the lead guy on my job. He was very professional and polite. They were very protective of the interior of my house and wrapped their vacuum and instalation hoses were they met corners in my house. They cleaned up after work to perfection. They replaced my very dirty attic insulation with an insulation which has a value of R37. The house is a little warmer than it usually ran relative to outside summer temps with the old hodge podge of material I had up there. But the house definitely has a cleaner fresher feeling to it for them having been here. I recommend these guys.

We met them at the home show and he?s been out to our home and I believe they are going to do some work for us. My husband has corresponded with them and they have gotten back to him quickly.

They are very courteous and follow up. They work with the customer as far as their needs are concerned which even includes pricing. They are prompt and reliable as well.

Our experience with Classic Insulation was top notch. We had wall insulation put in for our 1922 home with cedar shingles. We knew it was going to be a difficult job and were worried about the damage that might be caused. We had already had another company come out and we turned them away when we saw how unprofessional they were. We finally found Classic on Angie's List and picked them for their high reviews. We expressed our concern about damage to Classic, and their foreman and 2 workmen were extremely solicitous. We talked about a couple different solutions, but in the end they went out of their way to very carefully wiggle off each shingle, blow-in the insulation, wiggle the shingles back on and nail them at the top. When they were done you couldn't even tell anything was done to the house. All you could see were the small nailheads, and they were practically invisible! They treated our house with such care! They wore shoe coverings when they came inside. They thoroughly cleaned up the site at the end of the day. Every aspect of their service was professional and thoughtful. I highly recommend them.

Everything has gone well. They are good as long as you communicate clearly. They are very responsive, and I had been happy with them.
