Classic Insulation & Pest Control

Classic is fantastic. Our new home (to us) was infested with rodents in the crawl space and up the walls into the attic...luckily we found it during inspections. Classic needed to re-do insulation in crawl, pipe wrappings and vapor barrier on ground as well as the colossal task of removing and cleaning all debris and feces from rodents plus closing off all access points. They did a fantastic job and kept the rodents out of the home. The neighborhood has a lot of problems with this but our house remains clean. We still use them for quarterly inspections and baiting...they always go the extra mile to take care of us.

I would recommend Classic Insulation and Pest Control. I was happy with their insulation work. I had them take care of a yellow jacket problem in my crawl space. Price was reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

It is under a hundred dollars. They are reliable and professional. I give them a C for price because I think everybody is too expensive. We have been using them for many years.

Tyrel Bruschard was the worker who came out, and he was a very nice man. He even did a couple extra things for me. They are very reputable overall.

They are excellent! They were neat, clean, and careful. Every time they come I have them get into the crawlspace to check the traps and make sure everything is good. Their quality is excellent.

I have a triple wide modular home. There are so many ways to get in under the house. They sent a guy out and he did a great job. He cemented the areas that he dug under. He went around the house and put boards where the rats were getting in. I haven't had any problems since.

The initial service was good, but the followup was a bit expensive. They did a great job though.

They were very prompt with both the estimate and scheduling the work. Todd came out right away (within a day or two) and reviewed our attic conditions to help diagnose what kind of animals may be nesting and how they could be entering. He provided a 2-phase estimate at our request -- first to remove the insulation, and second to come back at a later date and replace the insulation along with critter-proofing measures. We are working on a remodel in the meantime. We scheduled the attic cleaning for the following week and the crew was on time and professional. My disappointment was that they left without cleaning up stray pieces of insulation, which littered the driveway and had to be sweeped up later.

They are very accommodating. They arrive when they say they will. They adjust their schedule with ours. We have been very pleased with what they have done. I have not shopped around because I have been so pleased with them.

These men work HARD. The salesman Corey was patient and very detail oriented. He saved us from using blown cellulose that would have been too heavy for the ceiling below the attic, which might have caused cracking in the future. They didn't give the lowest bid, but they DID give me the highest amount of confidence in the quality of work they could do. They delivered. The crawlspace looks great and the attic was cleaned very thoroughly. The new insulation is about what we expected. I gave an A for price because these men work HARD and they did a good job for what i paid.

1) I called them on Wednesday. 2) They came out and bid the job on Thursday and emailed the bid to me that day. 3) They had two laborers on the job Friday A.M. and were done that afternoon. This was the second bid I had gotten for this job. The first one was by a better known crawl space cleaning company, which was substantially higher in price and did not include re-venting the dryer as this one did. Based on their excellent reviews, I chose Classic insulation and Pest Control and am totally satisfied with everything about them, what they accomplished, and their great attitude and professionalism toward the very dirty and messy job that faced them. I highly recommend them!

They are very good. Their service people are very nice and thorough.

These guys are good. You might be able to find a slightly cheaper insulation and pest control company, but not a better one. They came on time and fit inside their estimate, while honoring the Angie's List discount. The only two quibbles I would have is that their insulation cleanout crew left a small amount of nails and trash on the sidewalk from the insulation cleanout, but it was minor. It made my neighbor really angry; but he's an angry and frustrated old curmudgeon, so his opinion doesn't count for much in my book. They also seem to have problems getting the correct billing right with the Angie's discount, but were happy to admit their accounting errors and corrected the problem. All in all this is a well run company. Make sure you get them in your bidding process when you need pest control or insulation installation.

From start to finish they were very professional. From the initial phone call to their main office to the estimator to the men who did the work. We couldn't be happier with the job they did. They took their time explaining the process to us at each step of the way. They also explained to my husband that we could spend money if we did some of the work ourselves. Which worked out to be very true and simpler than we imagined. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves as they do run equipment from their truck, through the front door and down the hallway to the attic opening. After each step of the process they gave us lights and had us climb ladders to look at the attic before and after so we could better understand the work they did. This was our first home purchased together and a month and a half before our wedding and they helped make the process easier. For that, and a job well done, we are grateful. All the staff at Classic are top notch professionals. From the people who schedule and answer the phones to the estimator to all the staff who perform the work, we had a great experience with Classic. We wished we had chosen them to insulate our home, but we'd already chosen another company who turned out to be less than professional when we lined up Classic to do the pest exclusion/ removal/ insulation clean out work. They were able to schedule their services right away. We even had to call them back to push out the appointments as the insulation company we chose was booked out 3 months. All the crew were ultra professional and always wore booties while in our home, used tarps under the mess they inevitably had to make to complete their work. They had us check out their work when they were done before they left the site each time. They called to confirm appointment dates a few days in advance. And the staff who schedule were superhelpful in getting us an appointment with their estimator right away and helping troubleshoot our issues/ answer my detailed questions. The estimator was very knowledgeable about pest control and exclusion issues and even caught a few things that were missed by another company who came out to provide a bid for us. Unfortunately, pest control work can be quite costly, but if you want it done right, I'd highly recommend these guys.

The guy who came for the estimate was articulate and explained things well and took pictures which was great. They sent a couple of guys to do the work who were nice but there was a language barrier and they put some dings in my drywall and I don't think they plugged all of the holes as there is evidence of critters still. They also were required by PSE to put in a carbon monoxide detector (even though I already had one) and when he put it in, he stood on his toes and kept dropping the screw and put a ding in my wall and put the screw in at an odd angle. They did a good job getting Puget Sound Energy to pay for part. UPDATE: True to his word, the owner was upset by a less than perfect review and had someone come out for a follow up. He resolved my complaints to my satisfaction. I also believe that he is following up with his employees that worked on my job so that they will pay more attention to the details. I would use them again because I know that the owner will stand behind the work.

Classic Insulation & Pest Control was suggested to me by the person who exterminated the rodents from the attic causing the insulation needing replacement. He stated 'Classic Insulation' would not attempt to replace anything that didn't need to be done. I found this true, as they were very honest, professional and customer oriented, from the person who completed the estimate, to the office staff and, ultimately, the crew who performed the service. The service was not only explained to me, in detail, but a DVD was provided so I could see the process from start to finish. They were available to answer any questions I had after viewing the DVD. The crew was extremely efficient and worked very hard to finish in a timely manner. After the crew finished the insulation installation, they showed me the work to ensure my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend 'Classic Insulation & Pest Control' and rate them with an A+.

Great service! We got a couple of quotes, and they were not the least expensive, but we had the best experience with them during the estimate. Todd came out for the estimate and was very informative, took his time to explain services and answer questions, as well as take pictures of the crawl space so we could see what exactly the damage was. We talked to them about the lower estimates we had received and they were able to match the estimate, so we felt we got the best price possible, and also had great people to work with! It was a two step process, they came and cleaned everything out, we set traps for the rodents, then a week later they came back and made sure everything was sealed, the rodents were gone, and put in all of the new insulation. The technicians were on time, professional, and obviously working hard. The crawl space looks great with the new vapor barrier and insulation, and the house is feeling warmer! They also took more pictures to show us the work and sent them all in email. Great experience throughout, would highly recommend!

We had gotten many quotes on cleaning out our crawlspace due to rodent infestation. We were quite concerned about spending a large amount of money to clean it out, only to have the rodent problem continue. A few companies said our situation was quite unique and keeping the rodents out would be tough. We decided to go with Classic because of their excellent Angie's list reviews, as well as their gaurantee to repair/replace anything if the rodent problem continued (if you are under their pest control service). Overall we have been very pleased with the company and the work they did, with everyone from the main office, salesmen, workers to the company owner. They always showed up on time, took care to keep my home clean while doing their work, explained everything thoroughly to me (I am a very inquisitive customer) and did a great job. All of the insulation was removed and replaced, new vapor barrier layed down, some screening was done in the crawlspace along the foundation as well as many gaps in the foundation and roofline that were potential entrance points. The only negatives are that the spray adhesive they used to secure the new insulation to the heat ducts was quite smelly and made my whole house smell pretty awful for a few days, it would have been nice to know this ahead of time as I am very sensitive to smells and the toxic nature of them. I also had a problem with a dripping water line right after the install was done, which they offered to pay for my plumber to fix in good faith since we weren't exactly sure how the leak started. The owner called to get the whole story and apologized and made me feel well taken care of. After 3 months we have zero signs of any rodents and our crawlspace is clean and dry. Certainly not the cheapest but well worth the money if you want to deal with quality people and want the job done right.

The experience was great. The sales rep from Classic (Todd) climbed into the attic to assess our needs and make his recommendations. He's the first person I've worked with who actually got into the attic (to include the home inspector when we bought the house). I really appreciated his going up there and taking a look around. He told me that he saw no signs of rodent infestations and noted a signficant gap in our attic insulation that nobody had noticed before. Todd also noted that we didn't have any soffit vents, something I hadn't noticed before (and wasn't noted in our home inspection). On the day of the job, they were scheduled to start between 8 and 9 AM, but weren't able to show up until 9:20. To their credit, they did call at 8:55 to indicate they were late and give us an updated arrival time. It just seems that with a 1 hour window, they should be able to arrive on time. They were curtious and careful to keep the house clean. They were hard workers and finished all the work in about 4 or 5 hours.

The crew was professional, efficient, respectful and friendly.

Classic Insulation's crew came about a half hour early, so they were able to start work promptly. The crew insulated both the crawl space and the attic space. They repaired the crawl space vent screens, blocked and screened off the area around the chimney which the rats and mice had been using as a way to get to the attic. They hooked back up the heating ducts that had come undone. They photographed their work so I could see it for myself without having to crawl under the house. I went up to the attic to see the work there and was very satisfied. Classic did everything they said they would do, cleaned up everything and left the work areas clean and tidy. I would recommend them to anyone.

The owner, Corey Smith was earnest, and very honest. We discussed in detail what was to be done and the costs, along with a complete description of the process and it's rationale. The workmen came at the appointed time , were very courteous and extremely careful. They completed their work on each of the days and cleaned up everything thoroughly. I am completely satisfied.
