Trident Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

I am beyond satisfied! I will be referring trident plumbing to everyone! Matthew answered on my first call and came to my house free of charge, within 20 mins. 7 weeks ago I had a different plumber out to fix some pipe leaks that my house inspecter pointed out and so that plumber came back twice and fixed two different leaks but never said he saw that there was any other problems. Couple weeks after that our two bathroom toilets stopped flushing and filled with water. I had that same first plumber come out and take a look, he said he could not find a plumbing problem so I contacted the septic company that had just pumped my septic tank when I first moved into our new house 7 weeks ago. The septic company said they did pump it and it must just be a clogged plumbing pipe. Needless to say nobody really knew exactly why they would not flush, this went on for couple weeks, toilets working then not working, finally toilets both stopped flushing and the two bathtubs filled up with sewage along with the toilets not flushing still. A different plumber came out and ran all his tests and determined that it has to be the septic tank being full or the drainfield failed said because it is not plumbing!! Back to the septic company, called and had two different companies come out, they both checked the tank and their side of everything, working properly, back to plumbing issue! This is where trident plumbing and Matthew come into save the day! Matthew figured out what the problem was really fast! It was so easy to visually see I cannot believe all these other precessionals could not figure out what is wrong, but when he pointed out the problem he fixed it immediately and for an amazing generous price! If I had only called Matthew when this all started happening it could have never become such a large problem! 100% hands down best company I have ever hired!!

Devon from Trident Plumbing arrived promptly at my home, and proceded to explore our entire plumbing system, carefully and thoughtfully working to figure out where the intermitent sewer gas oder was coming from. We have had three other plumbers try to figure this out to no avail. Devon discovered and corrected the problem within an hour. We are a repeat customer of Trident. The pair, Matt and Devon, came to the home and performed an assessment as well as provided an initial quote. They performed each task and then showed me what it was that they fixed and how the changes they made would be of benefit to our home. They were also very professional, but also informal, which made them feel as if they were friends of mine I'd asked to do a job rather than the typical "cold" interaction you get from most service providers. I don't want to have plumbing issues ever again (and likely will not now that they've fixed our issues), but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to call Trident again. I highly recommend them to others.

The plumbing in the wall of our kitchen sink was leaking. I had noticed water on the foundation of the house outside the kitchen. This is the type of problem that gets me very worried with our 60+ year old house. Looked at many reviews on Angies List and liked Trident Plumbing's reviews. I gave them a call with a brief description of the problem. Devon came over that day early afternoon. He was extraordinarily pleasant to deal with. He got under the sink, looked around a bit and then said here is what the problem probably is. Devon explained the repair and gave us a quote and a few minutes to think it over. The price was fair so we told him to go ahead. Once opened up the issue was pretty much exactly how Devon described it would be. There was a surprise break in the vent line and fortunately the planned repair took care of that too. Some time later Devon was finished, repair complete and the sink worked with no leaking. Everything was Great. As I said Devon was easy to work with, knowledgeable, loved my dog, and never rushed or pressured us to make our decision. Thanks from Dick & Teresa.

I've always had good luck with plungers but not this time. I even tried baking soda and vinegar followed by hot water. Nothing worked so I called Matthew. Matthew explained the toilet drain mechanism and showed me how to use an auger to clear the clog, and to use the rubber boot to protect the "china." I always learn something valuable with Trident!

This is the 2nd time I've hired Trident Plumbing and I'm very happy to have found a professional that I will turn to every time I have a plumbing issue. He's not only prompt, professional, and friendly, but he is always educating me on how to prevent problems which I appreciate.

I requested a quote on Angie's List and didn't get any response for several days. However, when Matthew and Devon realized that when I called them, they sincerely apologized and promptly set up an appointment. Devon came to my house and quickly identified the problem. He didn't charge me anything because they feel bad about the no response. I would still consider them in the future.

Matthew was very prompt in returning my call. He listened to what I needed, answered my questions, and we scheduled the work. Not only did Matthew successfully unclog my sink (needed power cabling for drain blockage) and reset my toilet (I opted to replace my 20-year-old toilet and valve turn stop to protect my new wood floors), but I learned quite a lot about how to maintain my drains and how to shut off main water in case of emergency. I felt very comfortable with Matthew and scheduled him to return in July to reconfigure my kitchen sink plumbing after new countertops are installed.

Both Matt and Devon are very professional. Very polite and my job was done perfectly.

Matt came out to clean some clogged pipes. It turned out that the pipes were both clogged and completely broken in half between the house and septic tank. Despite the short notice Matt was able to get the pipes cleared and a new pipe installed within a day. Matt was quick, polite, and explained what was going on.

Matthew (owner/operator) was fantastic! Our toilet was not functioning correctly, wouldn't stop running. I called Matthew and made an appointment. He gave us a courtesy call when he was about 10 minutes out to let us know he was on his way. Very punctual! He reviewed the problem and advised a new toilet. He provided a couple of different options...we could provide the toilet and he would install, or he would provide and it would be warrantied and guaranteed. We went over the process and asked him to provide the toilet. Matthew arrived on the appointed day and installed our new toilet. He replaced what needed updating and cleaned up after himself. We were provided with paperwork as a receipt and also how to care for the toilet and all the details of work performed. All in all, a very pleasant experience and well done. I would recommend Trident for any plumbing job. AAA+

Matthew is very professional from the beginning through after the job is done and he followed up to make sure we are happy and have no problems. We originally hired him for plumbing inspection, but ended up having him do the job as well. He finished work in the estimated time-frame and we are pleased with the result. His rate does seem high to us, but we did not get other quotes to compare.

Our current hot water heater was leaking water from the relief valve. I called Trident Plumbing owner, Matthew Gardner, and explained the situation. Matthew answered my call promptly and also made a special effort to come to the house to assess the water heater immediately as he was in the area anyway. We discussed the options of replacing the water heater vs replacement of the relief valve. We decided to replace the water heater with a Bradford 50 gallon water heater. Scheduled the replacement job and proceeded on the day as agreed on. Replacement went as planned with no wrinkles. Old heater removed and disposed of by Matthew. Some education on general care of the water heater and all done. Second time we have relied on Trident Plumbing for our needs and happy with the service.

This is the second job we have hired Mathew for and we were not disappointed. He is very efficient, personable and good at his job. Explained things along the way. Leaves everything clean. Will hire again for future needs.

Matt was outstanding. Sadly, and embarrassingly, minutes before he arrived I found the root cause, which was a septic tank that was more than full. I'd ruled this possibility out previously because i checked the alarm/monitoring and it showed fine. Nonetheless, I called Matt back to tell him I thought I found the issue and he said he would still pop by to further confirm and he did. He also got me educated on the workings of the septic system and technical background on the issue. I offered to pay him for me wasting his time but he said its fine, he's not too far out and how about a handshake instead of payment. Trident exemplified perfect customer service and I will absolutely call Matt and Trident the next time I have plumbing needs.

Matthew returned my first call within 30 minutes and scheduled with me. He was prompt, polite and did excellent work. He explained all that he was doing and even did a bit of extra reinforcement without charge. He left everything very clean. He uses the best products and does first quality work. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him for any plumbing needs.

Our home was built in 1989. Still had original house main water shutoff valve. We were interested in a professional plumber's advice and assessment of our valve as a preventative maintenance concern, when and if we needed to turn water off to the house on vacations etc. We had recently noticed, that after closing the valve, the water faucets and showers would continue to drip. We researched Angie's list thoroughly, as we do for most projects and vendors, and chose to call Trident Plumbing because of the positive reviews. Owner, Matthew Gardner, answered our call promptly and immediately called us back with a agreed upon time for a appointment. Matthew called prior to visit that he was in route and arrived on time. After meeting Matthew, he did a thorough look and assessment of our plumbing and explained the options and scope of work. He answered all questions and I felt comfortable with his honesty and professionalism. I accepted his estimate and we were able to complete the job that moment as he was prepared with supplies and time allowed. Job went well and was also a learning experience for me with helpful tips on maintaining our system. Matthew did a followup call a couple days later to make sure I was satisfied with the work and had any further questions. My experience with Trident Plumbing was very consistent with the previous positive reviews on Angie's list. He honored the coupon and for now, job well done.

Matthew was extremely professional, punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was referred to Matthew by a close friend who spoke very highly of him. I called him and he was able to come out first thing in the morning. He gave me a time window and also said he'd call when he'd be heading over, which he did and showed up before the end of the window. He inspected the pipe and provided an explanation of the issue, what the fix would be, and approximate cost. He was able to fix the pipe within a few hours, including having to go to the store and purchase a special part, and even had to cut and replace some additional piping. After the services he stayed and made sure all of my questions were answered. I have other plumbing jobs coming up (installing a PRV and replacing some other piping) and I will definitely use him for them!

After calling 2 other plumbers who did not have time for me. I called Trident Plumbing, and Matthew was at my home within 3 hours. He answered any and all questions I had and got the job done fast. He made sure he cleaned up any mess he made. I really don't know what more he could have done. Over the years I have had many plumbers in and out of my home and never hired the same one twice. I will definitely be hiring Matthew with Trident Plumbing again.
