Work was done in estimated time, a shut off valve and a new indoor water line were installed, work was tidy and completed with no problems. Mathew is courteous, informative, calls ahead and is easy to work with.

Everything went very well. He was very open and upfront about what work needed to be completed. He followed up later that night and again one week later.

Turns out it was a defective hose, easy to fix myself, but we had just moved in and my tools had not been unpacked. Rather than charge for the visit and their standard rate, he fixed it for a lesser, and very fair price.

Matthew was very responsive and was great about communicating when he was coming, what he recommended and what he was doing.

What a wonderful experience! Matthew returned my message right away and was at my Shoreline home within 90 minutes. He'd checked the year my house was built, so had a good idea what to expect. He made it clear i was welcome to watch him work and ask any questions. And he explained my options as he went along - in a way i could understand! Since this is quite a different skill from knowing one's trade, i always appreciate finding both in one business owner. The short story: Matt was informative and efficient. He completed the repair while protecting the surrounding area, cleaned up what little mess made, and i felt totally comfortable with him in my home. The final bill was under $500, which is comparable to other plumbing repair services in my 20 years of owning this home. Support this young person, who's in the early years of growing his business. You'll be glad you did.

Excellent. This is the second time I have called Matt for plumbing services. Birthday party planned for the evening. Clogged kitchen sink suddenly popped up the same morning. Knowing the circumstances, Matt prioritized our problem-even calling other customers to see if he could come on a different day. After successfully removing the clog that was ~ 20 feet down the line and then demonstrating how we can keep the line maintained, he meticulously cleaned up under the sink. That area has never been so clean. Very grateful for this level of attention to detail.

Mathew responded to our call promptly and scheduled an inspection. After a thorough inspection, he explained his assessment of the situation and suggested a couple options. Mathew was courteous, knowledgeable and informative. I appreciated his willingness to listen and consider possibilities with me. I need to take care of ground work before calling Trident to return for actual plumbing service.

I have used this company twice, and on both occasions was very satisfied. When contacted they were quick to respond. Arrived when they said they would. Had great communication throughout the whole process. Excellent quality and workmanship with a focus to every detail. I would defiantly use them again.

Matthew called to make an appointment almost immediately after we submitted our email. He came out the next day. He called when he was about 30 minutes away. I would definitely call him again.

We have had huge water bills for a couple of months and found one toilet was continually running. We turned that off, but it only lowered the bill by a fraction. So we called Trident, which was referred to me, and Matthew (owner/operator) made an appointment to come and assess the problem and give a recommendation. He made a courtesy call when 20 mins out to let me know he was close and on his way. At the initial meeting we went over what the issue was, possible solutions and best estimate of materials and labor costs. He gave me time to discuss everything with my daughter, who owns the home I live in. He was very open to questions and extremely detailed in his answers so that we could make an informed decision. On his second visit, I accepted Trident as our plumbing contractor and Matthew drew up the paperwork. Again he was meticulous and very detailed and was willing to work with me on a down payment and subsequent payments, given the large sum for this project. We also set a date for the work to be done. On 2/20/17, Matthew arrived early and the work was done. A direct boring system was used, which left our yard immaculate with only 2 small 'digs' at the beginning and end of the pipe. Matthew cleaned up after himself and then went over the scope of work that had been done. 2 days later he followed up with a courtesy call to make sure everything was working correctly and again assured me he was just a phone call away should any needs arise. The work was faultless, efficient and warrantied. My daughter also used Matthew for a relatively small issue, and received the same meticulous, spot on attention for that job. I would recommend Trident for any plumbing needs, and would not hesitate to use them again if every necessary.

Great. Matthew called back within 15 minutes of me contacting him about a quote for the work, discussed timing of coming out to look, and was even able to come on the same day I first called him. He was very professional, walked me through everything he recommended, then talked about every step as he performed the work. The PRV valve he put in is one that we can replace on our own should it ever have problems, and reviewed with both myself and my husband how to do that so we wouldn't have to call a plumber for it in the future. He clearly enjoys his work and takes pride in it. He even gave free advice about a toilet that was acting up. His bid was significantly lower than the other we received and he was very invested in making sure I understood everything he did. We may have to replace all the plumbing in the house in the future due to poor quality pipe, and we won't hesitate to call him for the job.

Replaced PRV to the main water supply pipe in our home. Matthew was very professional and patient in explaining the whole process.

Price for services were given before work was done which seemed very fair compared to previous experience, and there were no changes. Explained everything well and all working well.

It went great! Mr. Gardner was in consistent communication with us, showed up at the agreed upon time, informed us of each step he was taking and why, and was transparent and candid about an unforeseen situation BEFORE he began doing the work. This resulted in a small increase in the amount we needed to pay for the work, but it was worth it. He then loaded up the old water heater as agreed for recycling.

Went very well. Matthew was extremely responsive and courteous. He even followed up with a call a week after the fix to see if everything was ok. Never had a plumber do that before. Trident plumbing just went to the top of our list for plumbing needs.

Matthew is an excellent plumber and he clearly likes his work. He arrived as scheduled and quickly assessed the situation. He took measurements and headed out to get a new HWT + expansion tank, etc.. The design of my house has the HWT placed in the back of a narrow bedroom closet with little wiggle room, so there was concern that the new HWT would fit given that the new tanks are bigger than my existing 10-yr old tank. However, Matthew was confident that it would work out and he was right. Removing the old tank went well. Fitting the new tank into the small space took some effort but Matthew knew what he was doing and I now have wonderfully hot water coming from a new, more efficient HWT, and the happy feeling of knowing that the job was done correctly and well. This is the second time that I have hired Matthew to do plumbing work and I now consider him my go-to plumber. I definitely recommend Trident Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to anyone reading this review. Matthew is great. He called me back almost immediately the day I made my initial inquiry. He was very detail-oriented during our phone conversation and was easily able to schedule me in on the date that I requested. He called the night before as a reminder about the scheduled appointment and called en route to let me know he was on his way. The toilet that I bought through Trident was exactly what I wanted and Matthew's thoroughness was apparent immediately as he examined each part of the new toilet and explained why he was going through those steps. He was perfectly comfortable letting me watch the entire process and answered all of my questions completely and in a way that I could understand. Same routine with the kitchen faucet replacement. He did exactly what he said he was going to from the very start and was upfront about all pricing. I felt totally at ease and completely confident in the services that Matthew provided. Bonus: He's a really nice guy and I learned a lot. I will not hesitate to hire Matthew again for my next plumbing needs. Great experience.

Matthew was excellent. He responded promptly to our initial questions, scheduled with us for the next day and even showed up earlier than anticipated. He was very descriptive of all the work he was doing, the reasons he was doing it and teaching us about the work we needed to do to get the sink connected.

Contractor called before coming and was on time. He explained thoroughly what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. He made sure that I had an accurate bid before doing the work.

Mathew offered to come out on a Sunday to repair the faucet that I messed up. Did it quickly and efficiently. Would call him again in a minute when we need plumbing help!! Paul

Matthew Gardner sent me an email 10-4 which I responded to with my information on what was needed including giving him specific information on the materials I had purchased. He promptly advised me by phone that I should upgrade disposal to one he recommended (more expensive). Despite my experience with the original unit I cancelled that order and ordered another one as well as providing him with information on specifications and photos of area for installation with existing disposal of same size. On 10-7 he phoned me to ok and set 4 to 6 PM Wednesday 10-12 for installations with the proviso might have to cancel since wife 9 months pregnant. However, on 10-11 he phoned me again about 4:50 pm saying he was 10 to 15 minutes away. I replied he was not due until next day & I was on way home from dental appmt. Agreed to meet about 6 PM after he went to another job. When he showed up he quickly told me I should replace the sink water valves as he had bad experience with mine. I told him all I wanted done was the agreed to installs. He promptly told me it would cost $250.00 for the disposal install and $125 to $150.00 for the faucet. I said I couldn't pay nearly $500.00 for such simple work (I have done before) nor would I pay that much and he should have told me he was that expensive when I advised scope of work. He said okay you can tell Angie's List you want a refund and find someone else! He was very unprofessional from beginning to end and tried to rip me off!
