Showed up early for the appointment which is fine with me. Gave a reasonable estimate and stuck to it. Fixed the issue and we now have a working stove for a fraction of the cost of a new one. Highly recommended.

John did an excellent job. He was on time, friendly and considerate (took his shoes off at the door without me even asking!) He was quick to diagnose the issue with my fireplace and gave me a great quote. He had the part in his truck and fixed everything so quickly and neatly. I really can't say enough good things about John and his work. I will be recommending him to all my friends and neighbors for sure! I've been looking for someone to fix our fireplace for a while but didn't have luck with any reputable services until I searched on Home Advisor! I'm so excited to be able to enjoy my fireplace again!

Showed up on time and went over the choices for our wood burning insert. Explained the process and what they would have to do. Quoted a good price that was comparable to what I'd seen at different stores. We hired him and he got it ordered and installed within a few weeks. We had a small issue with the door handle when he was installing, and it was promptly replaced with a new part. All is good. The unit looks and works great, keeping our basement family room warm and dry this winter.

John made an outstanding job, getting some ideas and indications from our side and boost them to perform perfectly. We developed a new solution for modern fireplace based on Heat Zones and the finish was perfect. No dust, clean work and we had the feeling of him being on top of the work to leave everything perfect. He even did an upgrade in our other fireplace that made it much more functional. The Fireplace Guy was very knowledgeable on the older gas fireplace models. He also offers information on the new up grade models. he also charges an affordable fair price for work provided. I will have them again for further service.

They were late getting here, but that was because they do such an excellent job and were at a previous appointment. They were very knowledgable and easy to talk to and explained everything extremely well. I would have them again in a heart beat if needed.

John and his partner exceeded my expectations for service with their prompt, professional and engaging personalities and expertise in service. They cleaned and inspected the fireplace unit, added white rock and painted the upper inside panel to enhance appearance. Work was thorough and appropriately priced for their time and effort. Definitely will recommend them to others and contact them again for service in the future.

They showed up a few minutes early, were very professional and friendly and did a great job getting my pellet stove in working order. I had bought this mobile home that came with a pellet stove and I knew nothing about them. John patiently explained how to keep it running smoothly and I appreciated that. Very friendly, professional and helpful. Showed up on time, quickly did their work and even helped us figure out how our fireplace was hooked up to switches. They also added glowing embers to add to the aesthetics of our fireplace as part of the normal maintenance service we asked for. We are very happy with the service received and will definitely add John to our short list of service people we do business with.

Clean your fireplace annually to stretch out service calls. They're expensive!
