Description of Work: Outstanding deal. Fixed my problem per the coupon. Had them give me an estimate to install a chandelier in a foyer (very high). Same excellent work. Used coupon discount to fix wiring problem then a second visit for the light. I would totally recommend Switch to anyone and plan on using them in the future. Angies List does it again!

Description of Work: I signed up for a good deal to fix one electrical problem for $125. The coupon was good for 1 year. I contacted them the day before the coupon was to expire. They couldn't get here for about 2 weeks but honored the coupon. Jeremy and Aaron arrived early, after calling to ensure that that would be OK. They quickly solved the problem and since they had some extra time I had them install 4 GFCI plugs for about $200. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and were very pleasant and easy to work with.

Description of Work: We had a faulty outlet in the kitchen due to some crazy wiring done by a previous owner. Switch came out and found a way to get it all working again, fixing the safety issues and without great expense. The technician explained things well, gave us options and had us up and running again shortly

Description of Work: The lights outside my garage quit working and needed to be checked for the reason and solution. The person who scheduled my appt. is extremely customer oriented and made the appt. as soon as possible. Jeremy, who took care of my problem, showed up exactly on time, is very efficient, explained in detail what was wrong and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend Switch Electric for all of your electrical needs.

Description of Work: Too pricey for a 10 minute job.....2 young men showed up on time. They were able to fix the problem but we didn't know that we would need a certain part so it's not a fade switch anymore, just on and off. Really wish they had called and inquired more about the job. They were very polite and courteous, and oh yeah, handsome too.... (my daughter said that)

Description of Work: Bought a Big Deal for GFI troubleshooting. Turns out that it was a buried extension cord that was causing the issue. The technician spent the rest of the time troubleshooting a couple of exterior lights that had quit working. Nice kid & good service.

Description of Work: I emailed Switch asking for a ballpark estimate of some work I needed done on my home. I have not scheduled work yet, but intend to use Switch. The response I got back was prompt, thorough and friendly. He explained his estimated charges and factors that could cause the final price to be different. I really appreciated his willingness to put time into a response that wasn't guaranteed to bring him business and I learned a lot about my project in the process.

Description of Work: troubleshooting electrical surge caused by auto hitting vertical portion of power to our house with outages throughout the house. A breaker was replaced and power restored . He also verified that power was in fact getting to the non-working washer, dryer and furnace.

Description of Work: Bought the 'deal' (quiet exhaust fan - installed) at $249 and there was tax due in addition. Called and they wer out the next day to replace an existing fan that wasn't working. Travis came out (with a helper), was very professional and informed me that I had 4" vent pipe and the fan used a 6" pipe, but it would be NO problem to set this fan up and use the existing duct work. Work was done in a short time: everything cleaned up, too. Fan works great!

Description of Work: We had a short in one of our circuit in our house. The circuit breaker kept tripping. The service diagnosed the problem and repaired the connections a plug recepticle in the wall. How he figured it out is beyond me as there were several outlets to that circuit. It was a bit of a fire hazard and he pointed out some electrial issue with our house that was built in the 70's where they were trying unproven wiring. We need a new box which he left an estimate to replace and was on his way. I would recommend them to anyone. Tom
