I had heard that plumbing jobs never go quite as planned. There are always challenges, and this work was no different. Mike overcame the challenges on this job with professionalism and creativity. I had no previous experience with a plumber so I was surprised at the final cost (although it did require two trips to my house), but the bottom line is that I was very happy with the quality of his work and would probably use him again.

Mike is the real deal. After battling with this obnoxious odor for two months and hiring two major plumbing companies to no avail, I found Mike. Mike was punctual, polite and listened as I explained my situation. He asked me a few questions and knew what my problem was. He explained the problem in detail and what need to be done to fix it. He then quoted me a price and said he could start on the project right away. The price was fair, the work outstanding! I not only recommend Mike, I go as far as saying " Thank you Mike, you are now my go to plumber."

I have suffered from low water pressure for a long time. I found GPS on Angies list and had Mike replace the Pressure Regulator that was buried by the meter. Very happy with his work. Best showers we've had in a long time. If anyone needs a plumber I would recommend you call Mike at GPS.

It was great. One person came to do the job and took him about 45 minutes. I liked that he is quick, explains and sticks to quotes. The area was left clean. He's a guy that its low key, hard worker tells you exactly what needs to be done and that is what he does.

Mike did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job. I called Mike because we had a leak dripping from our ceiling in our downstairs bathroom. Mike was able to come out the very next day, he showed up at our home right on time and was able to identify the leak problem very quickly. He removed our toilet in the upstairs bathroom, fixed the leak, and had the whole problem solved in less then an hour. Mike was extremely neat, did not leave one sign that he had even done any work, he was very knowledgeable and professional. This is the third time Mike has been of assistance to us, and his cost is very reasonable. We will call on Mike and recommend his services to our friends and family in the future.

I called to make an appointment but they never returned my call. I'm pretty sick of contractors not returning my calls. Even if you're busy you should call back when you can.

Mike is good plumber, bill EXCESSIVE

Mike Grady (GPS Plumbing) was recommended by Stone Pros (Glenn Schiff) who provided the counter and granite work in our kitchen remodel. Mike was on time, came prepared to complete the final hook-up to our disposal and new sink, and made sure everything was working properly with the sink, dish washer and disposal before leaving. Great job!

He was on time when he said he would be there and did an excellent job. He was able to make the repair in a timely manner and did it for the price he quoted us.

Excellent! when I called Mike on a Saturday I expected to get his voicemail but he answered his phone right away and he took the time to ask me many questions about the issues we have had with the broken water pipes in our garage. When he came out to do the repairs, he was on time! which rarely happens with most service calls. He was very professional and would defintiely use him again.

Walked out into the shop to find a pipe had burst in the ceiling and water was spraying/raining down heavily from the ceiling and had been for some time. Turned off water supply but then had no water at all and family was arriving the next day for the holidays. Found Mike on Angie's List and called him. He was able to be there in under 3 hours. Arrived about 6:30pm and located and fixed the problem in very short order. We were impressed by his professionalism and willingness to extend his day in order to help us with our problem. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again should the need arise.

Mike was very punctual throughout the process, communicating well and always showing up when he said he was going to. Demolition of the old items went as he planned. Installation of the new unit required additional effort on his part as the room was not perfectly square. He put in considerable effort to keep demolition to a minimum. We were impressed by how hard he worked to make sure everything fit perfectly. We found him very personable and easy to work with. He was willing to answer all of our questions. He did excellent work in a timely manner and helped us keep on our schedule to complete bathroom remodel. We would highly recommend him to others.

Mike is a one man operation and had a few emergencies before we could actually begin the work, but that being said he did an EXCELLENT job and we were VERY pleased to have it all taken care of in a timely, affordable fashion.

We were very impressed with our interactions with Mike. We called him in a bit of a panic after receiving a $700 water bill, ruling out the possibility of having a leak inside the house and then being unable to find the cause of the leak outside in the 200+ feet between the house and the water meter. When I spoke with Mike that Wednesday, he first recommended a company that would come out and locate the leak, and then discussed best and worse case scenarios, including pricing for each. (Pricing is something I had a hard time getting other plumbers that I called to even discuss.) After the leak was detected on Friday morning, Mike came out to the house the same day to take a look at the area, and then provided a quote that evening for what it would cost to cut through the asphalt to uncover the leak and then repair the pipe and fill in the hole. We were aware that the quote was just an estimate and that the bill would be determined by how much work it took to get through the asphalt and what kind of damage was uncovered, but the number seemed fair, so we requested that he complete the work as soon as possible. Mike was at the house promptly at 8am Monday morning, as he promised, and worked until about 1:30, taking only one short break to purchase supplies. We were pleasantly surprised upon completion of the task that the bill was exactly the figure that he quoted initially. The next day, we discovered a subsequent leak that was much smaller further up the pipe. We called Mike and he agreed to come out at our earliest convenience to fix the leak. Once again, the service was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Overall, we were very pleased with the entire process. Mike was prompt, professional, courteous, and completed the job expediently and on budget. We will definitely utilize his services again if the need should arise, and recommend him to friends.

I am selling my home and after an open house, my realtor brought to my attention a wet spot on the mechanical room floor and some damp and sagging dry wall. I called GPS Plumbing the next day, and talked with Mike. He made an appointment to come out the next afternoon and asked me to take a picture of the area and text it to him. He arrived early (after calling to see if it was okay), cut out a small square of drywall, and found that the leak was caused by a loose connection on a drain pipe. He had it repaired in a matter of minutes. I was so relieved the problem was minor and the fix was so easy. All that's left is for my son to replace the drywall. I couldn't be happier with Mike's service, response and courteous manner. I am very happy to recommend him to others and would use him again if the need arose.

We bought a fixer-upper, relatively old house, in which most of the plumbing inside had to be replaced. In addition, we were remodeling both kitchen and bathroom completely, and needed to shift some pipes around. We contacted Mike at GPS plumbing per recommendation of a granite countertop contractor. Mike came out, looked at the plumbing, gave a quote which was dead-on accurate, and started work, which took multiple visits. Since our house was altogether a large renovation project, Mike had to not only interact and coordinate with us, but also with other contractors working on various pieces in the kitchen and bathroom. He fit in perfectly with the workflow - always on time, everything done fast, great quality, very pleasant to interact with, gave great advice in terms of faucet choice, placement of pipes and sinks and overall convenience of use. He and his coworker were wiling to work around other contractor's mess-ups, which was much appreciated. For instance, the countertop installer messed up the position of holes in the countertop, so that the faucet fixtures did not seem to fit in. Mike just said - go to work, don't worry, we'll figure it out - which they did. As for the price, we did not get other quotes, so I can not tell for certain. But in confirmation of some of the previous reviews, Mike is more than willing to give advice over the phone, if it is a simple problem, so that we would not have to pay for his coming out - he did it twice with us. This example demonstrates that he is definitely not after ripping off his clients, but rather providing excellent service and piece of mind, which, to me, is most important.

He did awesome. He does quick quality installs and he is very friendly. He is very concerned about the quality of the job and making sure that you did not leave a mess behind them.

He is a great plumber. Water was pouring out of the back of my house. He came the next day and found the problem and fixed it immediately. I added the garbage disposal it is very nice, quiet and works very well. Mike is a very nice guy. I know he put in quality parts, unlike the guy who built house. I will always use Mike and GPS plumbing.

This is the second time I have called Mike for help and he has immediately solved my problem with out a huge plumbing bill. He is polite, professional and I have recommended him to my neighbors and family for any plumbing concerns!

He is wonderful. He found a way to fix the leak without damaging the floor. Previous plumber wanted to jack hammer the concrete. I won't use anyone else. If you want quality work, look no further.

Mike Grady at GPS Plumbing was great. He responded to our call immediately. Because we were having problems with our water heater and didn't have hot water, Mike came out on a Saturday to assess the problem. He came back Monday morning with a new water heater and parts and had everything completed, cleaned up and working by lunch time. My husband is retired from the residential construction business so he is a good judge. He was very pleased with the service, quality of the equipment Mike used, and also the workmanship. We felt the price was very fair and feel confident in recommending GPS Plumbing.
