It was a great service and done very quickly. They were professional and easy to communicate with. We asked for the work to be done a certain way and they did their best to do that.

I just have to smile when I think about this job. There were eight men, 1 huge crane, 1 boom truck, the biggest chipper I think I've ever seen, chain saws and more. When I say that they were to remove a dead tree, it was a 50' Hemlock. When they started to take it down, it was like watching a well choreographed dance. That tree never touched the ground! It was sectioned, limbed and laid down on the flat bed - oh yeah there was a flat bed too. The men on the ground fed the limbs to the chipper, which didn't miss a beat and filled up a really big truck. They limbed numerous old growth cedars to allow for more sunlight to get through - the flower beds are loving it. And more limbing was done to open up the view at the back of the property and bring more light into the home. We have a lot of dismal days around here, so light is a precious commodity. The crew were friendly and efficient. They arrived when they said they would and after a quick walk-through, got right to work. They were very careful to tie-off limbs and lower them down so as not to damage the plants or structure. I have to be honest, I wasn't all that enthusiast about having some 'tree work' done, but I am so glad we did. The whole yard is going to benefit and be healthier, it doesn't feel like we are in a cave anymore AND I don't have to worry about the big tree when and if we get another big storm. I really appreciate your hard work and dedication. Thank you.

Pand D specialty is the removal of trees - they use very heavy equipment, as well as the traditional and quot;logger and chain sawand quot; methods. We had estimates to remove 13 trees which were upwards of $13,000. Pand D used a crane to remove 9 or 10 trees for $2,100 total. The balance of their work was with chain saws, pulleys and lines. The total bill was $6,500 for everything. The owner, Chris Powell and his crew were excellent. We would recommend Pand D without reservation

I called and left a message for a quote for a cord of wood. I waited over 24 hours and no one returned my call so I called back at which time I did talk to someone on the phone and place my order. Delivery was several hours late. The wood was moldy, rotten and saturated. I will never use this business for firewood or for tree service in the future.

They did a great job. Called the day before, arrived on time and really worked hard the entire day that they were performing the work. No standing around ever! They are very professional and know what they are doing. Their equipment is really top notch.

The crew of about 5 people arrived before and quot;quiet timeand quot; in the neighborhood. It appeared the crew-lead wasn't aware that I had informed the scheduler that quiet-time in the neighborhood didn't end until 8 a.m. (they arrived at 7:35 a.m.). Loud talking and shouting shouldn't be done before quiet time ends, so loud trucks, chain saws, and wood grinders would be out of the question. The crew-lead appeared surprised about the quiet-time rule, and wanted to proceed anyway, saying he could wait until 7:45 or 7:50 a.m. at which time it would only be 10-15 minutes before quiet time ended. They needed to get started he said, because they had a lot of places scheduled for service that day (Sunday). Nonetheless, I informed him I had made it clear to the scheduler that quiet time in the neighborhood ended at 8 a.m., so was not willing to agree to proceed at 7:45 or 7:50 a.m. It appeared they were going to start early anyway, so I called my next door neighbors to warn them (more neighbors needed to be warned but we didn't have time to do all that before 8 a.m.). But the crew lead decided to wait until 8 a.m. after all, as I had originally arranged, and in the meantime the crew turned off engiines of the 3 trucks, and started (quietly) hauling yard debris from the back yard to the front. They started the chain saw and tree grinding activity at 8 a.m. The crew was very efficient, hard working, looked out for one another when dropping limbs from the trees, and were finished in about an hour. I would recommend them, and already did to my next-door neighbor, who subsequently asked Pand D to do some work a few days later, and was pleased with the outcome.

I would use them if I could but because of the hillside location and difficult accessibility they cannot use their crane. I will probably end up using them but I am overwhelmed at the prospect of having the debris of 18 large trees in my yard. I felt the estimate was very fair and they were honest about what they could do according to my budget.

They brought in a huge crew with all the equipment they needed, and they were ready to go, which I liked. Because of that, they did the job incredibly quickly, and it was very impressive; with a smaller crew and lesser equipment, they would have taken a lot more time. The only drawback was that they brought large vehicles on a small street, but they were in and out pretty quickly. I think they prefer to do things quickly. The lawn was damaged, which was caused by taking out some of these larger branches. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

The tree was in an awkward location on a hillside and against a 5 ft cedar fence that I didn't want damaged. Their bid was less than half what two other companies wanted, so I went with them with a bit of worry about quality. However, the crew was fast and efficient and removed the tree and cleaned everything up in less than four hours. They clearly know how to remove tall trees safely and cleanly. They were also friendly and helpful (one of my neighbors asked for a large section of the trunk so he could do a chain-saw carving, and they moved it to his yard for him). I gave them a check that day that they somehow lost, but they handled that professionally too, advising me right away (later that day) to cancel the check and they deduced the cancelled check fee from the total. My slight complaints were that they broke a couple of boards in the cedar fence during the removal, and instead of telling me and making an adjustment, they stuck the broken boards back together in the fence probably thinking I wouldn't notice. A slight disappointment in an otherwise excellent job.

I called the company because I received a flyer in the mail and it showed that they used a crane and bucket for their work. I had trees that hanging over my home, especially over my skylight that needed addressed. The branches over the skylight stemmed from my neighbor's tree and since they had a crane I would be able to have the branches cut back without having to ask for their permission. I called them for an estimate and when he gave me the projected price I hired them on the spot. They cleaned up eloquently after themselves and even went as far to use a blower and a rake. They were very professional, no standing around and they completed the entire task in one hour and a half. They provided excellent service from start to finish and I'm very impressed with the amount of time they were able to complete the project in. I have had the trees worked on in the past and without the crane and bucket it literally took all day. P and D were efficient, prompt and I was impressed with the manner that he went about approaching and completing the project.

Setting up the appointment for the estimate was very frustrating. I told them my availability and they promtply set up an appointment for when I would not be home, when I pointed this out the scheduler said the estimator would be there before I had to leave - he wasn't. After several frustrating phone calls an appropriate time was set and the estimate was done. The gentleman doing the estimate arrived on time, was very polite and did a very thorough estimate. The gentlemen doing the work also arrived on time, made sure they knew what I wanted, checked with me part way through to see what I thought, and checked with me at the end if there were any spots I wanted clipped more. They worked pleasant, worked quickly and efficiently and did a good job on the hedges and the tree. All of the debris was cleaned up and removed. The price I was charged matched the estimate. Overall a good experience.

Chose to go with another company that was just a bit cheaper, but Pand D was close to comparable and was very responsive when I called. They even called me back the day after the estimate was given to check in. We chose not to use them this time, but would consider them in the future.

Perfect. They arrived on time, prepared a bid, followed up punctually, were courteous and respectful, and cleaned up afterwards. They were professional and easy to deal with. The son, Chris, prepared my bid. They followed up the next week with a reasonable offer to grind the stumps (after I requested it), which they quickly did the following day. Truly, no hassles, nice guys. I'd recommend them again. In fact, that's why I used them; they'd removed a tall pine (like the ones I needed removed) from a neighbor's yard and then ground the stump, and my neighbors also had no issues.

Good. I had used them before for a 30 tree logging job at my old house. There crews are reliable and typically young guys and are skilled at what they do. This was the first time I had them prune a hedge and perhaps weren't the best aesthetically, however it needed a major cutting, so felt more comfortable with logging and tree cutting service than with a landscaper/gardener. They are fast and efficient.

They worked with great skill and precision in very close quarters between two houses, dropping each tree exactly where they needed it to be and removing it by lifting it over the house with a crane. They also lifted many pallets of large branches out of the yard and chipped them. From first arrival to last sweep took only three and a half hours. The whole crew was very skillful and hard-working, with plenty of banter and good humor.

They showed up exactly when they said they would. They were very proficient with their time. They had a team of 8 to 10 people on the job and they all worked very hard. It's obvious they know what they are doing. I was very impressed with the whole process!

P and D tried to change the deal from cutting up and leaving my tree to doing me a favor and taking my tree to the mill and leaving me other fire wood. When I approached the owner on the phone about the change that was being told to me in the field, he became very rude, refused to finish the job which was to move the large rounds off my yard and onto the dirt, and then threatened me on the phone and hung up on me. I would never recommend using this company.

This company tried to change the price after the work was completed and I had already paid them. The even threatened me over the phone and I felt it necessary to call the police. I don't trust this company and would never use them again.
