Description of Work: Cut three trees down and cleaned up. They use a crane to remove so a very nice ornamental tree/ shrub was not damaged since it was growing up between the 3 trees.

Description of Work: They brought in a HUGE mobile crane and a HUGE wood chipper, along with a crew of 7 or 8 guys to take down a 2', (on the stump,) tree that was close to 100' high from a little hill right next to our house. They went up it with pole climbing spikes, cutting off limbs as they went and chipping up the limbs as they hit the ground. Some of the limbs were huge, hence the need for the HUGE chipper. Then they backed in the mobile crane and gently lowered the sections of the tree to the ground, right where I wanted them. Start to finish, with not a limb left for me to pick up, it took them about an hour. They would've cleaned up the sawdust, but I beat them to it. | The date is approximate, as I seem to have misplaced every record I ever had of the transaction.

Description of Work: They took down 2 large trees on my property. I just needed them limbed and felled without hitting any structures or our fences. P & D did the work exactly as I had requested, so I was pleased with the work. Their office seemed a bit disorganized though, they seemed to have a hard time scheduling an exact day/time, but on 2 occasions they called up on short notice requesting whether they could do the work. Since I wanted to be on site (to make sure the correct trees were cut), we cancelled once and the second time I went ahead and allowed them to do the work without being there. My wife was there and said the guys on the crew were friendly and hard working. Overall, I have no complaints about the crew or the work and would hire them again.

Description of Work: Removed 3 huge old dead madrone trees close to power and cable lines using a crane and bucket truck. Some tree companies were not able to remove them because they were too close to the lines and they didn't have the proper equipment. They arrived promptly and were done before noon. Another company had said it was a two-day job but they didn't have the same equipment. They were very quick, professional and efficent. It broke my heart to see these trees die and have to come down. The crew was very accomodating when the neighbors asked for a few pieces of wood for woodworking projects. It's nice to know the trees will live on in another form.

Description of Work: I called them about getting a log truck load of firewood and was told I would get at least 10 cords. It turned out after it was all cut and stacked to be about 11 cords. I was originally quoted $1,000 and he called me back the next day and said if we could take a load that day he would give it to us for $900. 80% of the wood was ready to burn and the rest will be ready as it has a chance to dry out some. Most of the wood had been down for over 4 months. Burns great and very happy customer...will definitely call them again!

Description of Work: Removal of storm damaged limbs & tops from Birch tree. Daniel came out, looked over the damage and provided an estimate. Within days I received a call telling me the crew would be out. Everyone was very polite and professional, climbed up the tree and quickly trimmed the branches. They cleaned up thoroughly and the lead person reviewed the work with me. I will definitely use this company again and have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Description of Work: Requested a bid for 2 tree removals, clean-up with no stump grinding. The bid was $700, which was the middle of the bids that were quoted. They were the fastest to respond to my request for a bid and their crew availability/schedule was such that they could have accomplished the work before I had received any other bids. If I were more pressed for time, I would not hesitate to use this company. I feel that they would have done an excellent job for a fair price.
