They were horrible, they were absolutely terrible. They were never on time, never came when they said they would and were consistently late. I have had consistent problems with the driveway. I would not recommend them. The paver stones are discolored and some are cracking. I can't power wash it without the sand between the stones coming out. Every time I call the office in Redmond, WA, they say they?ll come out and fix things but they never do. If they bury the exposed electrical wires, replace the stained stones, sandblast, clean, and seal it properly it may fix the problem.

I want to make a distinction between the paver work itself and the company. This company does not actually do any paving work itself. Rather, it does the advertising, finds the jobs, and then subcontracts out the actual work to any one of a number of other independent contractors. This was not explained to us when we contracted with System Pavers, and resulted in some confusion during our project. It wasn't always clear who was responsible for what. System Pavers does assign a person to supervise the job, although the supervision was sporadic. We had two different sets of subcontractors working on our project (at different times), and they were both excellent. We were very happy with the results. Both groups were a pleasure to work with. The first group, in particular, Ricky and Roberto from Rios Pavers, were outstanding. They were totally reliable, extremely hardworking, great problem solvers, and did a fantastic job. The company, System Pavers, has been harder to deal with. One area of paving created a drainage problem that didn't appear until the winter rains. We have been trying for months to get them to come out and fix this, but so far they have not done so. They seem to be shorthanded, understaffed, and although they have made several promises to come out and fix the problem, they've never followed through. They promise to put it on their schedule, but it just never happens and they don't call back. I'm afraid we're going to have to hire someone else to fix the problem. This is the main reason for the lower rating on this review.

The project was never done because we decided it was too expensive..

They came out and I explained what I would like. They followed through and were able to complete it in a timely fashion. They met my concerns and needs, and everything turned out great. The pricing is slightly high, but they do great work. I would highly recommend them for anyone that needs their services and plan on using agian.

They came out and did a very good job. They were punctual, and they gave us a good estimate. They cleaned up everything, and we were very satisfied with their work. I would give them a “B” on price because we had some cheaper estimates but we liked the looks of their work.

They were good. There was a little misunderstanding with their crew about whether they should work in the dark or not resulting in them having to come back out. They did a good job and we plan on using them again for another project on the other side of the house.

They were able to do the work and did it on time. When they came back out to finish up some items there was some cement water that had spilled in some areas and had stained the stones. They were very dillegent about coming out to clean up and kept at it until it was taken care of. We would use them again.

The crew arrived on time and broke up driveway and walkway and removed the old concrete. At first they seemed very professional and asked our opinions on some details about how the walkway would curve up to the front porch. After they prepared the gravel and sand, they began laying the pavers. One of the important changes we were making was widening the driveway on both sides by 3 ft. each. When they began to finish the left side, I thought they were off by one foot, but no one on the crew would listen to me. When the manager showed up, I pointed out the mistake and he had the crew correct it. On another day when the crew returned to finish the job by completing the walkway on the left side going to the gate, I thought they had done a sloppy job of grading the sand and laying the pavers. The grading was not consistent, and the pavers were not lined up like the rest of the driveway. It took weeks of complaining, including complaining to the home office in California, until the local construction manager came to the house to see the job and finally agreed I was correct that it needed fixing. This small walkway did not have the same degree of quality as the rest of the job. It took the company about 2 months until they could schedule the same crew back, which took 3 hours to fix. I had to direct every minute of the 3 hours so that they did it correctly. The reason for the 2 month delay is because the crews are contracted and not company employees. Also, the small retaining wall they were contracted to build was not level and looked like it was leaning to one side. I took it apart and fixed it myself, since I felt they were incompetent. Since the job completion was delayed by 3 months to get it fixed, we could not have the pavers sprayed with a sealer because now we were into the fall rainy season. The manager agreed to come back the next spring a spray on the sealer for free, but of course they never did. Also, in the middle of the project the crew supervisor needed to use his truck for something and dumped a load of concrete construction debris from another job in my front yard, with my permission. But, it was not removed promptly as he promissed. Even after many complaints and demands to remove, it remained there for about 2 weeks. The crew left bags of lunch garbage in the work area, which attracted flies. We are happy with the end result. The driveway and walkways look beautiful. It has enhanced the appearance of our house tremendously. We are not happy with Systems Paving because It was just such a hastle to get them to get it right.

They did superb work, and I am very happy with their services. They got right to work and have kept at the job 7 days a week.

They were on the job every day, even Saturday and Sunday. They started early, and worked late so that they could get the job done quickly. When there was a question about the work to be done, they asked, and did it just the way I wanted it. Even when there was a misunderstanding at the beginning, they made good on what they had committed to do. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. The driveway looks great, it meets the road at the very end, and they were careful to make it look right and not damage the main road.

They did an excellent job of putting in the sidewalk and mow strip. They are very high priced. I haven't been pleased with their guarantee. They said no weeds would grow in between cracks of the bricks but there have been a lot of weeds. I had three extra pallets of bricks when the work was completed. I paid a whole lot more than I needed to. The side bricks are cemented in and several of the bricks have come loose. They have a lifetime guarantee. I have called three times in the last month. The first time they told me it would be two weeks before a crew could come out. I called when they were supposed to be here but they still haven't come out yet. It's been a hassle to try to get them to come out.
