System Pavers

The crew was extremely polite and they were responsive. They were good communicators. They were easy to work with. It was worth money. We had the same salesman and same crew for both project. Both crews were great and very, very good to work with.

It was beautiful and high quality. Very impressive. Expensive but worth it. We would use them again and recommend them.

The service was very good. It was done timely and less supervision was required.

I used System Pavers of Washington in March 20 of 2012. The total price was $9400. I didn't like the price. I think I ended up paying more than I should. They did good work. They seemed like they were quick. We had some issues or whatever, and then, now I am noticing the pavers have settled and I'm not happy with the work. It looks good but, there are uneven spots. I kick myself for paying that much for it.

Just OK. The sand used to secure the pavers has come up in places and weeds easily flourish, causing a lot of bent over labor to remove them since we will not use chemicals that could harm nearby wildlife and fish. I recently bought a bag of sand that seals better and won't wash away in the rain. It could have been used originally but a less expensive quality of sand was used by workers. So now I have to carefully exchange the loose sand with the better quality sand after I yank out weeds. Very tedious and h****** one's back. Pavers used on the perimeter are becoming loose so I recently bought some concrete glue to help seal them back together. The project manager was not always on site as claimed he would be. Unbeknownst to us was that sealing the pavers was not included in the initial cost which seemed strange. Their estimate to seal the pavers offered when the work was done was almost a thousand dollars. We went to Home Depot and bought a jug of high quality sealer for about thirty dollars and sealed the pavers ourselves, in about one hour. The most difficult aspect of the job was the high cost, very very expensive, in stress and on budget. A good feature of the company is that their workers are very industrious and friendly and the salesman who initiated the work order had a very professional demeanor.

I was going to have System Pavers come out and provide an estimate but another expense came up and I cancelled the appointment. Now they are calling and leaving messages every single day, sometimes twice. I was quite clear I wasn't going to proceed with a project. The door to door salesperson also claimed System Pavers was very highly rated on Angie's List. I see no evidence of that either.

Great experience overall. We had swift responses to any questions we had, everyone we came in contact with was very professional, and obviously wanted to make sure we were happy with the final product. The final product looks great and the whole area was totally cleaned up when they were done. Would totally recommend them to someone else.

The design consultant was very professional and patient. I added two more areas after the first bid and he came right out and took care of adding those. They had to remove by sledge hammer very thick concrete over the whole area and then install pavers. Two men did the work and a few of those days were very rainy. Every day the project manager came to check on the work and always talked to me about the progress. They addressed any questions promptly. When the job was finished there was one very small problem which the project manager fixed right away. They guarantee their work for 25 years - any problems are fixed at no charge. The job looks beautiful and I would recommend their company to anyone.

Salesman completed a thorough contract. Subcontracted workers were ontime and professional. All work was conducted in a methodical manner and area kept need and organized. The patio and sidewalk look great and are a huge improvement to the house front. The only down side was when the pavers were being sawed. We had no forewarning how utterly and completely everything within 20 feet would be covered by paver sawdust. This super fine dust permeated and covered everything. The paver work was being conducted directly outside our bedroom window. Unfortunately and un-beknowst to us our bedroom window was open less than 6 inches, which allowed dust to enter. We discovered at the end of the day, when the work crew had already left, that our bedroom was entirely covered with this fine dust. It took a couple of hours to clean the bedding and clean the room.

We had a property boundary issue arise just as we were about to close the sale of our house. A path that System Pavers built for us several years ago was discovered to encroach slightly beyond our boundary. This was not System Pavers' fault as they built the original path exactly where we asked them to, not knowing it was a few inches over the boundary. Now, with just a few days before the close of our sale, we discovered we needed to move the entire path. I was geared up for this to turn into a huge problem, but System Pavers was actually super responsive, got a team on the job right away and got the whole job taken care of in just a few days. Scott, the project manager I dealt with, was really great and took a very active role in making everything happen on time. The new path was built to the same high level of quality, and everyone was happy. One thing, however, that helped me get the job done, was dealing directly with System Pavers' local office in Redmond. Trying to go through their main office, as they want you to do, didn't result in any action at all. If you need a paving job, try to find their local number in Redmond. This is my second review for System Pavers on Angie's List. The prior one was for the earlier work, in 2009, and that experience dealing with the company wasn't nearly as favorable. I was glad to be able to write a good review this time.

System Pavers turned out basically to be a sales company because they subcontract all of their work. But the subcontractor did a good job and we are very satisfied with the final result of our brick pavers which is a random blend of certain color palettes to match with our house. I would use them again in the future.

'The sales rep was extremely helpful. He described the process in detail, answered questions about alternatives to pavers, discussed drainage issues and addressed our problem with the use of subcontractors. The company worked with us to accommodate our schedule. The crew arrived on time and was ready to work. The supervisor from System Pavers came each day and discussed any issues with us - however, there really weren't that many. The crew finished the job in five days and cleaned up beautifully. The walk through was the following Monday. We had some minor issues with how the irrigation heads were moved and an irrigation pipe had been broken under one of the pathways. One paver had to be replaced due to a minor "mis-cut", which was actually pointed out to us by the Systems Pavers supervisor. These issues were resolved the next day and we have enjoyed how beautiful our back yard now looks ever since. They are expensive, but it was well worth it.

They did a really good job. We really liked the way they did it and the space of time in which they did it, they did it in a week. They had a really good crew, Ray was the person we dealt with, and he was great. I liked their service, when I saw one thing that was a problem they immediately corrected it at no extra charge. I had checked on Angie’s List and they had not really got that high marks, they are a huge company, but the work they did for me was great. They were professional, and hardworking. They were able to take a fairly difficult project, and design it really efficiently. They built the patio in the middle of February within one week. I remember that they had to go around the snowy bits. There were steep inclines, they had to get the materials up the hill, and they just did a really good job.

They are going to start the work soon. The estimate and walk through were very thorough. I was very impressed. The showing of the different products was amazing. The guy knew what he was doing. He is a well rounded well seasoned salesman. I liked everything. The company has a good history. They were willing to work with us as far as the prices and that type of thing. They were also able to because my wife and I, we live a difficult life as far as time off and time home. So they were able to work in our schedule and be very accommodating for that.

They were very thorough and paid attention to detail.? Everything about the service was great.

It is beautiful. It was pleasant working with them. They did great work. It was very fast and very professional. They have outstanding quality. They do really excellent work with good craftsmanship. They are expensive.

We had Systems Pavers do a patio for us in March, we are so very disappointed in our entire experience. The job wasn't done to our satisfaction as mortar was left on patio, pavers were not placed in correct pattern and a huge mess of gravel and sand left in our yard. We have tried for the past 6 weeks to get someone out to fix the problem. Last week they came and removed some pavers but have not been back to replace them so we now have bare spots in the patio. We have called repeatedly and be promised it would be taken care of and it has not. Also, we were promised one payment in financing and upon receiving our first bill the amount was double and we were never informed. This company is not reputable, steer clear of their poor workmanship and business practices.

They did a good job. They demolished an old path and put in a new path, and it looks nice. When I had a problem with it, they came out and took care of it right away. They are very friendly. They have a lifetime guarantee.

They started and finished on time. They cleaned up everything when they were done. Everything was done according to the plan including follow-up by the sales rep.

.They kind of did a few things that I had to have them come back out and fix. They did come back and do it but they are not cheap. They are kind of expensive. They did a walkway, driveway and porch. I would consider using them again.

They were really great and the whole crew worked really hard. They were well supervised. They did everything I asked them to do. They were here for about five days and they did it all by hand. It came out so much better than I had anticipated; I thought it would be pretty but I didn’t realize it would be a showstopper. My neighbor’s all have driveway-envy now and we are the only ones in the block with pavers. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

We were very happy with them. I thought they had fair pricing. They were prompt and professional. They finished on time and cleaned up their mess. They were open to our input.

I had an unpleasant experience with them. It is hard to describe. They are very deceptive and pushy. They come door to door trying to get our business, and they will try to have somebody come out even if we don’t want them to come out. This guy came last year and told me that he was the No. 1 seller. He was very eager and wanted to do the work right away. I asked him if he was on Angie’s List, and he said that he wasn’t. I told him that I would like to check him on Angie’s List first. I found out that they don’t do their own work, but sell that out to the cheapest subcontractor. This is why the customers have problems communicating with the company, because when the subcontractors don’t show up, they have nowhere to turn to. I got into a little argument with him, and he was huffy and left. My interaction with him started out very positively until I tried to get him to not talk, and he got huffy. I wanted to ask him a lot of questions, and he was not willing to answer anything that did not involve some expense. I only had one encounter with him. As far as coming out to the house was concerned, they came right away. Actually, a nice young man from their company came by over the door last night too. I would not use them in the future. . Some people have had a great experience with them, but some people haven’t; they end up somewhere in the middle.

It was excellent. There was some communication problems with language, but everything else was great.

They did a fantastic job and their clean up was perfect. I could not find anything wrong with what they did.
