The customer service was exemplary throughout. The designers and the project manager (Ryan) worked seamlessly with me to create my space. Ryan was in near-daily contact with me as I was away at work for much of the project. This team was amazing!
Description of Work: System Pavers turned the ugly weed patch and gravel walkway in front of my home into a lovely European-style patio space, providing me with a beautiful and welcoming approach to my home. It is beautiful, functional and low-maintenance.

We have a grassy back and side yard, and the new pavers look fantastic. They reduce the water run off and mud during the wet season, and provide a great new patio for our outdoor seating and dining. We actually want to expand the patio area because we like it so much.

they removed old concrete patio, step and sod/dirt. Then took all demolition material away. spread out the gravel and compacted it, spread sand and laid pavers in a 45 degree angle. Built a 12 foot wall bench and fire pit. They cleaned up daily and when they finished, and informed me when they would return each day. I thought the project went very well.
Description of Work: installed pavers and fire pit for new 24 X 28 patio.

The project went very well. The project manager Jacob, was on site every day for at least an hour to confer with the crew and go over the project's progress with me and my wife. The crew showed up on time every day and frequently worked until 6 or 7pm. When there were questions about paver layout the crew discussed possible solutions with us. We were impressed and how quickly the project went. Our expectation was that it would take two weeks but in fact they completed the project in 9 days. Also, Jacob arranged to have a special treatment of the pavers after installation to remove the efflorescence which occurs in pavers and concrete due to salts leaching out of the material. This cleaning was done at no extra cost though it was not in the contract. Great service from the company and the project manager.
Description of Work: System Pavers replaced concrete driveway with pavers, build two walls around planting areas and replaced wooden stairs to front door with pavers. They also installed lighting in the walls and stairs.

The work went very smoothly even when our dogs walked over there just racked sand for laying out the bricks. We quickly put the dogs back into the house. The pavers told us that it wouldn't be a problem smoothing out the layout again. We would definitely use the company again and refer any one interested.
Description of Work: The providers came to our home. Looked at the layout of were we were interested in putting either a wood deck or paved material. They used rope to show us how it would look if we were to choose paved material in the designated location. There was no hard sell pitch. When deciding to use paved material or wood we decided on the paved material. The crew for System Pavers showed up each day for seven days promptly at 8:00 a.m. They worked h****** getting the landscape prepped for the bricks. The workers were always courteous, and respectful.

Design and quality of work were outstanding. I have a friend who's a retired contractor and has seen a lot of pavement work. He thought that mine was very well done. It made my front yard look elegant. It gives you a nice vibe/tone before entering the house. I am enjoying my semicircular paved driveway! I got great complements from my friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Ryan is an excellent project manager. Very professional, kind. I was nervous about the project but he assured me that everything would be just fine. And it did. He knows his stuff and made very good suggestions as we went through the project.

We were in the market for landscape lighting and we came across System Pavers. We had an initial with some bad communication where the paver team was scheduled to come meet with us and they didn't show because they saw it was for lighting, so a day later the lighting guy (Andrew) came out to meet with us. Andrew designed a plan that we really liked and we decided to go for it. They use very high end fixtures from Unique Lighting, so it isn't a cheap system like you'd buy at Home Depot or Lowe's, etc. We went with all LED bulbs and we really like the system. Andrew is great to work with and was good at communicating along the way. The installation took longer than they originally thought, but I know some of this is that they were doing most of it in the rain and we have a fairly large system with step lights on the front steps and on the back to our deck for 40 lights total. We're really happy with it and will recommend System Pavers and Andrew specifically in the future!
Description of Work: Designed, planned and installed a complete landscape lighting program for our entire lot which is a over a half acre in size and included steps lights on our front steps and lights on the steps to the back deck.

The team that came out were friendly, answered any questions I had and went straight to work. Jake, the project manager was out at least once each day to check on project and checked in to see if I had any questions. They completed the project earlier than they had scheduled. Our very close family member son stopped by after the artificial lawn was in. He had seen our old lawn and wanted to know what we had done to bring it back so fast. He walked on it, as very impressed and I had to tell him it was not real grass...
Description of Work: System Pavers removed old lawn, leveled area, placed several of gravel/sand as base for artificial grass, placed membrane down, rolled out artificial grass, secured it to base and made it look great!

The project went extremely well and positive because System Pavers invite us to provide ongoing feedback throughout the course of project implementation, including requests to modify our designs and/or ask questions. The open communication we had helped the project progress forward to our desire. For example, I asked the project manager to correct the angle of the front pavers so it could flush against the existing driveway to eliminate a slight lip, and they were delighted to come back to make the adjustment. Another example is the landscaping company, a partner of System Pavers, asked if I would like to change the design by adding border pavers. I thought it was a great idea. Not only it only added a neglible labor charge, but we were able to use the extra pavers we ordered and gave a nice polishing touch to the backyard paver design. Don't hold back in giving feedback and comments in a professional manner. System Pavers aim to deliver world-class service and close the project with the customers feeling satisfied.

The process started with our meeting with a Design Estimator who laid out our options and quoted us a price for the work we wanted done, explained payment options, answered any questions we had. After signing the contracts, the job was scheduled and within a week the materials were delivered. Colby was assigned as our Project Manager. He came out and reviewed what was to be done, and gave us suggestions and a timeline. He was very friendly and professional throughout the process and a good point of contact for us. The crew that came out was very good. They were on time, hard working, and very good at what they do. We were extremely pleased with the end result and look forward to many hours this summer spent enjoying the work. System Pavers were very good about dealing with any issues before and after job completion.
Description of Work: System Pavers was hired to remove an existing walkway and replace it with new pavers and to take an existing large garden area and install a patio with a fire pit in it's place. In addition, some landscape borders were replaced.

System Pavers may do great work, but the process is more like buying a car than dealing with a trusty contractor. While most of the contractors we've dealt with are happy to provide a written quote after first learning our job requirements, the System Pavers rep ended up jotting down their price in pencil on the corner of his notebook. It was apparent that this price was not based on reality and subject to adjustment ("I need to call the office and see how low we can go"). When I mentioned we'd like to think it over, since it's a healthy chunk of money, he proceeded to guilt trip me and play other mental games. I was put off by the pressure tactics and smooth talking. This is in stark contrast to another contractor who recently advised me to be sure and get three quotes for any job we plan to do.

Let me begin with a description of the job. I have a weird setup at my place, which is why I wanted turf. The access to my backyard is through the house. I thought this would pose a bit of a problem; but in June, the sales guy assured me that it wouldn't be. Typical sales guy right? I should've walked away when he said, 'small jobs are lower priority'. Well, after a lot of back and forth with the scheduling department, FOUR MONTHS later the job finally began. I did what I could to protect my house and make things easier for the crew by putting down carpenter flooring which sat there for a month before they actually started because of more scheduling mix-ups. Once they did show up, they moaned and groaned about how hard the job was and how they'll never do another job like this. They don't know why this job was even accepted. Blah, blah, blah. Finally, the job was done and it was a good job and the results were great. Too bad the experience wasn't. At the end of the job, they encouraged me to fill out the survey and hinted about how to fill out the survey. Of course I filled out the survey based on my experience. Well, I get a call from the 'front office' supposedly to hear more from me and to apologize for my experience. Instead the call was to try to get me to change my survey scores because they could have a negative effect on the company & the employees engaged in my job. I couldn't believe it. Yes, System Pavers does good work. However, their lack of professionalism, trustworthiness, and honesty hardly makes it worth it. If I had to do it over again, I'd select a different company.

System Pavers created a new entire patio in our back yard, complete with a water fountain, outdoor seating, LED lighting and a fire pit/grill. The work itself was great...but their worst problem seems to stem from management. They say their customers are number one, but that is clearly not the case. Our huge job should have been overseen by their most experienced project manager, but instead, they sent out a guy that had NO idea what was going on; I honestly think it was his first week on the job. His idea of project management was driving out to our house, looking around for about 5 minutes, no communication with us OR the workers, then left. The outstanding problem we have right now is they are insisting we still owe them $945. Their initial cost was agreed upon by us, but when we signed the final contract, they shorted themselves $945. We got this project financed through Wells Fargo, 3 years same as cash, and Systems Pavers have been paid by the bank. After about a month, they keep sending us this bill for $945. I say, it's their mistake, and they should eat it, but they won't budge. System Pavers contacted us and we have reached an agreement. The CEO of the company actually contacted us and we really appreciated that!

First I was told it was all blue stone - counters are poured concrete It was built not square and when we tried working the site people they were very put out and advised me this is stone it's not perfect and did nothing. Per the warranty agreement we submitted a letter to the corporate office advising how our job went and how dissatisfied we are Corporate then had the same office call me to talk about corrections I advised corporate I did not want to work with team that thought this was an acceptable build so they had a corp man call my husband he agreed to come see the work. Keeping in their lack of communication skills the gentleman from corporate did not come he sent someone from the local office and did not advise us of this in advance. My husband should the man the job and he took some notes and said they would be back they came back many times trying to make it square and level I have attached the letter showing the work they thought was acceptable. Dear Sir or Madam, On July 18 I contacted System Pavers via your website asking for a corporate office customer service representative to contact me. Other than my receiving the automatic reply email (shown below) I have not received ANY contact from System Pavers Corporate. This letter is formal notification of my extreme dissatisfaction with System Pavers workmanship and follow up customer service for a BBQ island with pizza oven stand build done at my home. Workmanship Attention to detail (keeping things straight, square, and plumb) during the build was not followed. Countertops go from having negative to positive overhangs from the base structure, or have large tapers to base structure. The bar top has identical construction issues as the countertop. The following images are of a very few quick measurements I am providing System Pavers Corporate, showing what I have been told ?looks really good? by your local office. West end of countertop From From ?3/4 inch to +1/2 contertop overhang to base structure South or work side of counter North or Back edge of counter South or work side of counter has taper overhang from 2?5/8 inch to 1?1/4 inch, or 1?3/8 inch runout over a 94 inch length. West end Mid Start of pizza oven stand Note the significant color and edge finish difference between the System Pavers provided BBQ counter top and the pizza oven stand counter top. North side bar supports go from being nearly flush at the east end to protruding 1 inch past the bar top on the west end. Communication I have experience repeated commitments from the local System Pavers representative that were not followed through with, nor was it communicated to me that commitments were not going to be met until the day of or after the fact. My latest experiences started on July 9 with John scheduling a meeting at my home for July 11. On July 11 I received a call saying he was too busy and would meet me on Monday July 14. July 14 I received another call from John saying he was again too busy and would meet me on July 15. The July 15 meeting did happen with John and Darsee meeting me at my home. The agreement was Darsee was to contact me by COB July 16 to confirm when repair work would be completed, being later in the same week or by no later than July 22. I did not hear from Darsee on the 16th as promised so I contacted John. John said would contact Darsee. I received no contact until a call from Darsee on July 22, saying he was ordering material and I could expect him to be complete on July 23 or July 24. On July 24 I received a text message from Darsee saying he now had the materials and would be out on July 25 to perform work. As I myself am a sales professional, I would never tell a client I was too busy to follow up with afile://localhost/Users/Bobbi/Desktop/Excess.JPGfile://localhost/Users/Bobbi/Desktop/East.JPG commitment.file://localhost/Users/Bobbi/Desktop/BBQ%20to%20Oven.JPG Other issuesfile://localhost/Users/Bobbi/Desktop/Mid.JPGfile://localhost/Users/Bobbi/Desktop/West.JPG As I work nearby my home, I came home a few times for lunch during the build. On one occasion I found a worker having a female ?guest? watching him work. This is not acceptable for liability reasons not to mention it is not professional. Site cleanup was also very disappointing. I found myself cleaning up leftover materials, pallets, cutoff tips from adhesive cartriges, and misc. debries.

We had our existing cement slabs ripped out and replaced by a beautiful hardscape patio, retaining wall, and built-in outdoor bbq by System Pavers. We had initial made plans to have this work done in 2013, but had to delay it due to some roof damage that had to be fix first. So when Jared came out to go over the initial plans we made some changes. He took it all in stride and easily made the changes, even re-measured everything, which was good because it looked like the first measurement was slightly off. Although the start of the paving was delay initially because the crew was delayed on another project, the work began soon after the plans were finalized. They missed a day due to a family emergency for one of the workers, but the work was completed within 4 work days. And that included a small change order toward the end of the work. The change was put in and the next day it was handled, with not a hiccup in sight. The workers just handled the change with no problems and the work was done quickly and with perfection. We had a community garage sale a week after the work was completed and got many compliments on the finished work. And of course recommended System Pavers to several people! We hope to some more work in a couple years to expand the back patio and put in some steps down to the pathway and we will definitely call System Pavers again to do the work.
Description of Work: Paved pathway from back yard to front yard with a pad for three large cans for recycle, trash and yard waste. Path was built up on a sloped side yard with a small wall built to keep the path level all the way from the back yard.
