Description of Work: My only complaint, which is big enough to drop the rating to a B, is that they told me the door would take 2 weeks to come in, it took 3, and then they said they couldn't install it for a few days after that. In the end it was almost a month between the time I signed the contract and the door was installed. The door itself is fine, the installer was punctual, they were easy to contact, etc.

It was for a service and diagnose/ repair some issues with doors closing and not closing tight to floor level. The company sent a service man the next morning (a Saturday morning call). He called ahead to give precise arrival time and completed the work with a clear explanation of work he proposed and the cost before proceeding. Could have recommended roller replacement amoung improvements, but explained they were costly and the existing ones had plenty of life but we're just a bit noiserier than when new. Saved me around $200.00 and for that the noise now doesn't seem so bad! |The service representative was was timely, polite and involved me throughout the call. I would definitely recommend Precision Doors and plan to continue to use their services in the future."

Description of Work: Precision Door in Lynnwood was my first Angie's List experience, and I was very satisfied. The repair/serviceman was polite and explained what needed to be done. I just bought my condo without realizing that the previous owner *never* had the garage door serviced in the 15 years she owned the place. The door needed all new rollers and general maintenance. Now it works perfectly, without anymore awful noises. I also had a system installed for opening the door in case of power failure, which gives me peace of mind.

Description of Work: An appointment for a repairman was obtained within one business day of calling. The representative arrive promptly, diagnosed the problem with the old garage door opener, and presented alternatives of repair versus replacement with cost estimates. Because of the age of the old unit, we elected to proceed with replacement which he was able to do immediately having all the necessary equipment with him. An Angie's List coupon was honored without difficulty. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Description of Work: Did not go well. I asked for garage door to be unstuck. They came out and would only give an estimate for repair, which is not what I needed. We are about to put in a new garage door. Don't want to spend $400 on repair to old door. It's stuck and we wanted it to close until we can get a new door put in. We were very disappointed, and now have to go back to the drawing board. And we spent $50.

Description of Work: I wanted the garage door spring repaired. Repairman wanted me to replace entire garage controller/sensors/unit...$1800.00 per door for lifetime warranty. Not sure what the lifetime of a garage door is. I had the door repaired for $185.00 from another company. That was all I wanted.
