I needed a complete roofing job for my house built in 1994. This included: · Removing and disposing of existing one layer roofing material; · Inspection of roof decking; · Installing new CDX plywood; · Installing Certainteed Presidential TL And all the normal flashing, vents, ridge caps, cleaning, etc. I received four bids (three from highly rated companies on Angie?s List, and one from a company that had been highly rated but was no longer on Angie?s List due to an advertising payment dispute with Angie?s List). The results of the apples to apples bidding process was: Four Seasons roofing: $21,750 + tax North Creek roofing: $20,339 + tax GAFCO roofing: $19,500 + tax Pinnacle roofing: $20,313 + tax less Angie?s List 5% discount up to $1,200 = $19,297 + tax. Note about pricing: Most of these companies charge a small fee if you pay by credit card so I recommend paying by cash. Also, your first estimate from Pinnacle roofing won?t include the 5% coupon on their page on Angie?s List. If you accept the bid, they will include the 5% discount. So, don?t forget about the coupon. We went with Pinnacle. They were very timely and professional. Their work product was excellent. The main contact (Lenny) kept a high level of communication and was very responsive. I would highly recommend Pinnacle.

Update (4/25) After submitting my review, the owner of Pinnacle Roofing (Lenny) reached out to me and was very apologetic. He explained that my experience was not acceptable and wanted to assure me that the work was done properly. He offered to have the original estimator come back to my home to verify everything was done properly. I took him up on this. He arrived on time and we quickly went over the repairs that were done. Everything was to my satisfaction. This was a much better experience. Based on the volume of great reviews, I imagine my experience was atypical. Original Review The estimator came out within a few days and was able to quickly find the source of the leak and verbally gave me an offer. He didn?t offer and I didn?t ask for a written estimate (shame on me) (update: I learned that they typically do not provide written estimates for work <$1500 unless asked for) but the price seemed reasonable enough. When I called to schedule the work they had a hard time finding estimate, probably because it wasn?t written down? Once they found it the scheduling process was actually easy and straight forward. My repair day came and half way through the day I had not seen anyone and received no communication, so I called to ask when I could expect the crew. I was then told that the repairman who works on flat roofs was sick and would not be coming that day. Fine, things happen but I should not have to call to find this out. Communication could be a bit more proactive. So now the repairman is schedule for the next day. The next day the repairman arrives relatively early (I don?t know exactly when since he never knocked or announced his presence). I just noticed the truck out front when I heard him on the roof. I go out and say hello and tell him to let me know if he needs anything. He asks me where the leak is (he had no pictures or description) so I show him. He goes back to work, takes about 30-45 minutes and then leaves. Again no communication as to if he?s done, going to get materials, etc. No paperwork left either. I notice that the repair has been done but not the preventative work that we wanted done. I call to ask if he is coming back or if there is another crew who will be coming back to finish the job. Rep on the phone is unsure and needs to call the roofer to see what was done and will call me back. I did not get a call back until 2 days later. They would like to send the guy back out the next day to finish the job. The next day (service day #2) the same roofer as day 1 shows up (this time he knocked). He is back but doesn?t know what he is supposed to do. He has no pictures or description of what he is supposed to do. Great... I show him the area the estimator showed me and the roofer is still a bit unsure what he is supposed to do but says he will get to work. Less than an hour later he is gone again without any explanation. No work though to show me what was done, no paperwork. I can tell something was done but whether it is what the estimator intended is unclear. ( See update above) The work that was done seems to be of good quality but customer service and communication could use some serious improvement. Luckily I have the flexibility to work from home as needed. If I needed to miss work to have this work done I would have been even more frustrated. Overall, I feel my experience was poor but your mileage may vary. I'll find a different contractor for any future work.

Excellent. Lenny emailed the bid to me as promised and although I didn't choose them, they were extremely easy to work with and I would call them again in the future.

They showed up on time and gave a reasonable quote. We made arrangements, they came back and did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. The job was complex due to the unique construction of my cathedral roof. Excellent service - would definitely use again.

Lenny at Pinnacle is great! He came out to check things out to give us an estimate and emailed me the estimate right away! It took a few emails to get scheduled, but we were able to get on his calendar within a couple weeks of our first contact! Lenny's team arrived to perform the work. The 3-man team worked almost a full day. We scheduled a meeting for the following week for Lenny to take us back up on the roof to show us the completed work! He walked us through all the maintenance and repair work his team did and I could clearly see the repairs they made! They did everything they planned to- repaired a hole, re-welded seams, replaced all the top cover screws and re-caulked seams, trimmed all the shingles, installed new flashing pipes (I think that's what they are called- the new ones are a lifetime product whereas the old ones were cheap quality at almost the same cost), and inspected the entire surface. They also installed a vent for satellite dish cables (that were previously creating a potential for a leak), and put a moss treatment on! Lenny also gave us as much information as he could about our roof, the life expectancy of it, and what to expect if it ever needs replaced. He recommended we have an annual gutter cleaning with inspection to maintain the great condition of the roof and catch any potential problem areas BEFORE they become an issue and sent us a quote for that. Lenny and his team were punctual every time we met with them! I didn't interact with his team much, but Lenny was VERY professional and courteous! He was very patient in dealing with the complexities of HOA issues, too! We plan on using Pinnacle in the future for regular inspections, maintenance, and any major roof work! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mike at Pinnacle Roofing is my hero! My kitchen ceiling sprang a leak during last night's rain storm and I worried all night. First thing this morning, I called another highly-rated roofer, who sounded unfazed by my dilemma and took my info so someone could call me back to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I couldn't wait and called Pinnacle Roofing next. The person I spoke to was sympathetic and offered to get someone to my home asap. An hour later, Mike was at my door, found the problem, and fixed it - all so quickly that I was able to make a mid-morning appointment. My roof needs a couple of minor, less urgent repairs and Pinnacle Roofing has won my business. BTW, the first roofing company I contacted never called back. Thank you, Pinnacle Roofing!! ?

My roof had a section that was low sloping (a 12/2 slope) that the previous owner had roofed with asphalt shingles, a no-no (as we just found out through 3 different roofers). This winter it started leaking inside the house so we called to get 3 estimates for repair. Pinnacle roofing was at the lower end of the estimates. Between the three companies, the highest estimate company I was not impressed with. They came out, did not give as complete information as the other two companies, and wanted the most ($5800) for the repairs. The next company gave a through review of what they found and how to repair it. I was happy with them and probably would have chosen them if I was planning to stay in my house for greater than 15 yrs as they seem to have the best warranty for lifetime and the most comprehensive estimate. But their estimate was still over $2000 more than Pinnacle roofers. Lenny at Pinnacle roofers came out and looked at the situation, was knowledegable, timely, answered all my questions, was not pushy, was professional, and I felt comfortable. (by the way, all three companies were rated at the top by angies list). Pinnacle roofing were able to start the work within a few days and the crew led by Mike were professional and very nice to work with. After taking off the old shingles, they found the plywood underneath needing replacing along with some of the "rafter tails" (2x6 underneath the roof line that extend out over the roof edges providing the overhang). This required their carpenter to come out for repairs and delayed the roofing about one day, fuly understandable. The carpenter came out on a Sat and then they restarted the roofing on a Sunday, what great service, thank you Mike and carpenter! They then replaced the shingles with PVC roofing material due to the low roof slope. So they started on a Fri and completed on the following Tues just before the rain started back up. The job looks great, cleanup was complete and the billing for the extra work was fair, plus they gave a 5% discount for Angies list member. I highly recommend Pinnacle roofers, would have no hesitation using them again. | I would recommend getting 3 estimates for comparrison to evaluate your situation. |I did have one roofer on angies list wanting to charge $125 just to come give an estimate, I did not do this. There are enough roofers well ranked that do not charge for an estimate.

They were great. Lenny came out to check out the shed and existing roof, quickly gave us a written estimate. The next morning after we said we wanted them to replace the roof, the crew showed up. They were efficient, pleasant, and did a great job. They disposed of all the old roofing and left our yard clean of debris. The next morning Paulo came out to check on the work. He was pleasant and obviously knowledgeable about roofs. We asked about the roof on our house, and he gave us helpful information. We will definitely call Pinnacle when we are ready to replace the house roof.

I chose them because of the fact that the guy brought to my attention that the attic was not vented properly. Neither of the other two got that. Pinnacle was actually was the highest quote by maybe a thousand dollars or so. It was not substantially different, but the fact that he told me that there were a few things that I should be aware of just gave me a little more confidence. They were pretty good with their responsiveness. They were here when they said they were going to be here.

Lenny gave us a reasonable quote, in line with the other 2 quotes we had. He replaced the gutters and now does regular cleaning of our roof (we live in a forested area). At every stage, he has been responsive, professional, and very personable. He even accommodated our difficult schedule to collect payment after the work was done (we had a newborn). Absolutely top notch experience, and very highly recommended.

.Pinnacle did an excellent job. Everyone from the owner, to the foreman, to the carpenter, to the electrician was extremely professional, friendly, and great to work with. It was a huge job and they worked hard to get it done as quickly as possible. Even before the contract was signed and the work began, they came out to patch a leak on short notice. Their finished work looks to be very high quality. They mistakenly roofed over the spot where one of the skylights was intended to go, but redid that area correctly without too much hassle. The carpenter missed some boards that were rotted and came out to replace them after we pointed it out during the first inspection. Also one of the corners wasn't draining properly and they fixed that too. We continue to get an exhaust smell when using the gas fireplace so we still need to work that out with their chimney guy. It was very expensive, but their price was in line with 3 other bids we got. Overall it was a good experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I believe company did a great job, good quality, good communication, easy to address all concerns. I would give them A rating, the only reason I go with B, because they reschedule start date few times and I do understand, good companies are in higher demand.

Lenny was great to work with and even though its just a garage, the new roof looks nice and has been holding up well. Lenny was easy to work with because he was fast and efficient at communicating via email with me, which I very much appreciate. Replacing a roof in February is hard, and leads to an ambiguous schedule because of the rain and weather in general. However, Lenny kept me updated when work would or would not be done, and I felt like I always knew what would be going on.

Called this company due to its reputation on Angie's List, however I feel that a TWENTY DAY wait to simply get someone out to do a skylight estimate is unacceptable.

We obtained three proposals to re-roof our condominium. Pinnacle Roofing was selected to do the job because of their superior rating on Angie?s List and being a contractor for IB Roofing Systems. Lenny (the owner) is a professional with a strong knowledge of roofing who listened and understood our needs. Re-roofing is an expensive investment for a small association and owner expectations are that this new roof will last many years. IB Roof Systems long history of manufacturing PVC without material defects and having the best warranty in the industry cements those expectations for us. Lenny?s bid on the work to be performed and costs for same were clear and concise. He provided several references, copies of Pinnacle?s license, insurance, bond, certificate of coverage with the Dept. of L & I and lots of information on IB Roofing Systems. His bid was fair and best of all, there were no surprises when we received our final billing. Pinnacle began work on our roof in mid-August, 2013. The crew was hard working, courteous and very professional. They arrived early and worked late (8:00 pm), taking advantage of the daylight hours and the good weather! We liked that the same crew was here every day. The job was completed the end of August and on Labor Day they were here to remove the scaffolding and debris disposal shoot!!! Lenny returned the day after the scaffolding came down to do a final walk thru and make sure all was good!!! We were pleased that Pinnacle provided a dry wall technician to come in after the work was completed to repair a ceiling crack (those rolls of PVC weight 200 lbs. each) and a few nail pops that showed up when new skylights were installed. Pinnacle Roofing certainly raises the bar for customer service and professional work. We are extremely happy with our new roof and highly recommend Pinnacle Roofing to anyone looking to have a new roof installed!!!

Pinnacle Roofing did an awesome job on my roof. First off I live in a mobile home and not all roofers will replace roofs on mobile homes. I called Pinnacle and they said it would be no problem. Lenny responded quickly, came over and gave me a fair estimate. I also had other estimates to compare and he was right in line. I felt very confident with his knowledge. I have a skylight and I was most worried about it being replaced properly. Even though it took me a few weeks to commit to the project, Lenny was really patient and was able to fit me in. The workers that did the work were really professional, nice, and communicated the plans well. My roof looks AMAZING! The skylight was beautifully done. I am very happy! I would defiantly recommend Pinnacle.

Very good service. Proposal was very thorough and was explained in detail, including alternatives and "best practices". Bid price was within a couple of hundred dollars of three other bids received, so price was a secondary consideration. Selection was based on the thoroughness of their proposal and the 15 year workmanship guarantee. Installation crew showed up as scheduled and were very professional. They were careful to protect the landscaping, sides of the house, deck, etc. by covering with plywood and tarps. They cleaned up daily and did a thorough cleanup at the completion of the project. Replacement of rotten deck boards was included in the contract, on a per sheet basis, so there were no surprise costs. The only minor concern was the noise created by the gas powered air compressor operating late into the evening. We were concerned that it might disturb the neighbors, but they were in and out so fast (3 days) that this was not an issue. Roof looks great!

We obtained four proposals for completely reroofing our condominium. The condominium board selected Pinnacle. Pinnacle did the work in August and September of 2012 during a heat spell. During this time the workers had no shade protection while doing the work. Nonetheless, they did their job professionally and with little or no inconvenience to the condominium residents. The workers were extremely courteous and conscientious. They arrived on time and worked into the evening on several occasions to get the job done. All the owners were completely satisfied with the professionalism, the high quality of work and the price. We now have a new roof that will last for many years. We highly recommend Pinnacle Roofing to anyone needing to repair or replace a roof.

The Office team at Pinnacle is average to good. They are a solid group of people who do what they say, and call you back when you leave a message. I do like that they physically measured my roof, instead of just depending on an estimate provided by a satellite image. However, it is was the crew they sent to job site that really sets Pinnacle apart from the others. They sent a large group of technicians, and they all showed up with the proper gear and started working the moment they got out of the truck. I was so impressed with their efficiency, I asked for more details, and I was told they had been working together for for 7 years. Additionally, the crew still enjoyed doing their job, and were fun to watch and interact with... The slowest guy on their crew did more in a day than I could / would have done working on my own house and project. Pinnacle has set the bar for what I will expect from a service company moving forward. The price was fair... and the quality and service extraordinary.

They were able to start the tear-off on Saturday 8/20 instead of 8/22. The roofing material wasn't delivered on Monday as planned (no fault of Pinnacle but once it came the roof was on in one day. It looks great. The venting was done a couple of days later. I am very please with the job, the professionalism of the crew and the courteous way the company kept me informed of of delays and scedules. I would recommend them highly.

Jason answered the the first time we called. He was extremely professional and gave tons of good information. Very knowledgeable. He was not put off by any of our questions. He was very calm. He came out an bid our house and was right on time. However, his price was $9,000 more than two other highly rated contractors on Angie's list (almost double), so we didn't bother going any further with there company. Otherwise, he was really good.

Jason showed up on time. Of the four estimates I got, Jason was the only one that went up on my roof, which does have somewhat risky access. His evaluation of our roofing situation was thorough, noting a furnace vent that needed replacing. He had some suggestions that I had not heard yet (he was our last estimate), like waiting on gutter work until we painted the house. Although I was happy with his thorough evaluation of the job, they had the highest estimate, without offering anything obviously superior than some of the others. Since all of our estimates were from good companies, with great reputations on Angie's List, the high price decided us.

I would add my recommendation to those of others who have used Pinnacle Roofing. Not only was the job completed as bid and promised, but when another subcontractor inadvertently damaged the completed job, Pinnacle responded the same day to repair the damage. Lenny and his company are first class.

Responded to initial call with 24 hours, came out on weekend to give estimate and had it repaired the very next day. No oversell, quickly identified the area that needed to be repaired. Fair price, great service, A+!
