Description of Work: Did complete tear-off of house & Ceder shake shed/replaced with Certainteed Landmark shingles.Guys were very friendly and ok with answering my questions.Here for a day & 1/2-cleaned everything up, including blowing out the garage floor & taking magnates to the front walk/driveway & patio.

Description of Work: They showed up when expected, got right to work, and were done in less than a day and a half. Neighbors who were home when they were doing the work commented on what a clean-cut and fast drew it was (A complete tear-down, including replacing the plywood. I have noticed a couple of minor gutter dings and one seems to dip a bit more aftert the job, but they still drain. Clen up was excellent. Bill ended up being less than expected, which made me happy!

Description of Work: They did a great roofing job for us. We have a complicated roof with several levels and they had to take it down to the joists. They cleaned up very well after themselves. They did exactly what they said they were going to do on the days they said they would even though it was raining. They did an excellent job. Their prices may not be the lowest, but it is worth every penny. I would highly recommend their services to others.

 + 0 moreI called for an estimate at short notice while negotiating the purchase of a house, and was told that the company does not do that type of estimate. I was confused, because I was seeking an estimate both for purposes of negotiating the purchase price and for work to be done once the purchase was complete. I called them back to tell them this, and expected a call back to schedule an inspection, which never came. Nonetheless, I decided to give them another chance, so I called them (as well as several other companies) again to obtain an estimate for a new roof and installation of skylights shortly prior to closing, as I want the work done as soon as possible. I left two messages, and never received a return call. They do not seem to want the business, so I am going elsewhere. -------------- The company's Apr. 14, 2009, response makes no sense, as I did in fact call them again once I was about to sign the closing documents on the home and wanted to actually obtain an estimate for purposes of scheduling the work (and told them so in my messages). While I understand the initial response, the complete lack of any response when I was attempting to hire them for a job - and the subsequent personal attack in the response below - is both rude and unprofessional. But I ended up using a different roofing contractor, who performed quality work.

Patrick Smith was timely in coming out, answered all our questions and honored his initial proposal even though we took 2 months longer than the 30 days stated to make a decision. We had several other estimates done, but chose Mountain Goat because they had no "hidden" upgrade costs, used high quality materials as their baseline, and we just liked the personalized feel of this smaller (yet 20 year old) company. The owner, Aza Cline came out to supervise the job and everything was started and finished exactly as promised. Great clean up and the roof looks and works great!
Description of Work: Tore off our old leaking composite roof and installed Certainteed Landmark 40 laminated roofing with hidden ridge vents on our 2,000 square foot rambler.
