Fast and efficient.

He did quality work in a brief period of time. I was delighted with his work. Also, he promised me he wouldn't get anything dirty in the room that had the fireplace and he didn't.

David cleaned both of my fireplaces and chimneys. He found cracks in the crown and flue and repaired both. He gave a discount on the sweep since other work was performed. He was quick and it made everything very easy. He was late but the office called to let me know he was running late.

Jason was flexible and available to take a look at our chimney on the following Saturday afternoon. Although he showed up late (45 minutes late), he was very friendly, honest, and helpful. He only charged us for the inspection but was willing to give us a small discount if cleaning was necessary (not sure if it was because of the Angie's List referral or because the busy season was now over).

Fantastic. He arrived on time, was friendly, clean and a perfectionist. Great care was given to be sure the job was done to perfection and that he left no trace of being there.

I called Mad Hatter Chimney Sweep company and talked with Jason. I told him that I would like him to come and sweep a chimney in one of my rental properties. I gave him the address of the property and name of the tenants. My tenants called Jason and set up an appointment with Jason. This is what my tenants experienced. "When the company did not show on Dec. 30th, I called them to ask what happened. In that conversation they told me that the van got into a car accident (I wasn't informed until at least 5 hours later) and we rescheduled for Jan 4th @ 4pm. I called the company at 5pm that same day to again ask what happened, but I had to leave a message. I have not heard back from them as of yet." My tenant took off from her work to be at the house to meet the chimney service person. She also called the company to ask for an explanation and how would they make it up to her since she took off time from her work. She never got a call back. I called another company.

Very happy, chimney swept with no soot in my house, process took about 45 mins. Arrived as scheduled.

Overall, the experience was went well from the first phone call until the job was completed. I called a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving and Jason was able to schedule me for the Saturday before the holiday (thankfully!). The gentleman who came out was on time, professional, polite and efficient.

Two pleasant Mad Hatters showed up ready to work. They originally were asked to sweep only one chimney but found the time to do my basement fireplace also, ($100 each.) They seemed to do a great job (I can only assume since I can't get in the chimney but they left full of soot :)). They were tidy and time efficient. I recommended them to a friend and I would definitely use them again. I especially liked the whimsy of the Top Hat.

I had my chimney inspected. I had never used the chimney since I started renting this house. I assumed it would need cleaning as well, but it didn't. I was only charged for the inspection. The guy was very nice, told me all about my chimney & insert. Great to deal with. I will definitely go to this company again for my chimney needs, as well as recommend them to others.

The service was fast, professional and very, very clean. I feel safer now that the chimney was cleaned by a pro. Mad Hatter Chimney Sweep offered the best experience I've had in a long time from any service. I recommend Jason and his team to anyone.
