Flynn's Carpet Cents

Very straightforward experience. The store is a warehouse with rolls of carpet available for your perusal. The salesman and I looked at a number of samples before choosing one. Then we chose a pad. All were in stock. There is obviously some room for negotiation because there are no tags with prices on them, and the salesman wanted to "work up a quote" before telling me the price of the pad. That being said, prices here are still in line or better than big flooring stores. The installation was 2 days later. The installer arrived on time as expected and had the job completed in about an hour and a half. The price I put above included the carpet, pad, installation, and tax. Carpet looks great and I'm a happy customer.

Overall, we are very pleased with our experience with Flynn's. We picked out the carpet on Saturday and they scheduled an installer to come in today (Monday morning). The installer was punctual, friendly and he went right to work. He had the old carpet and pad out then the new carpet and pad installed in about an hour and a half. He took our old carpet with him and disposed of it. The sales staff was friendly, helpful and patient while we looked through their inventory. The carpet is thick and tight, we're very pleased with it. We felt as though the pricing was very reasonable for our job. We definitely plan to go back to Flynn's when we're ready to re-carpet our rec room.

It was a pleasure to work with this company. Their "show room" is more of a warehouse, but that was ok with me, especially since the costs where very competitive and the salesperson, Mark, really went out of his way to make sure we got the carpet installed on a very tight timeline.

Overall it went very well. We got a very good price for a good quality carpet. The sales man Jim was nice and friendly. Only one disapppointment we had was that the verbal estimate he provided us was lower (~ $800) than the actual official estimate on paper that we got a week later. The difference is that the original estimate of the amount of carpet needed was incorrect. We bugeted and made our plans based on verbal estimate so it was disappointing but everything else went well. There was a special going on so we got the whole thing installed for 70 dollars. So the total price include, The price of the new carpet + removal of the old capet + installation. I gave C for punctuality because, the install crew didnt show up within the time window they mentioned and arrived 30 min late.

They haven't turned out yet. They will have the carpet installed on Thursday. The price is good. Their customer service is outstanding. We shopped around a lot. We are very particular about the product we are buying. They are competitive. They are the lowest. I don't know how they do it but they do it.

They did a good job, and there was one area that was messed up but they came back and fixed it. He fixed the barrier between two rooms, right away. Very quick and painless. They called me to check on me one month, or two months after the job was completed.

They were neat and we didn't have any problems with them. I would recommend them. They did a good job. My wife and I couldn't find anything to complain about at that time. They didn't have to come back for anything, but were willing to do so. They gave us a good price on the carpet and the quality is great. I am sure they had outside installers to do the work. The installers were Hispanic but the lead guy on the job spoke English very well. He was able to relay things to the guys if we had any concerns. They were definitely on time. They came out, looked at the rooms, removed everything and carpeted everything well. The owner was one of the salesmen and he explained how the costs were broken down and why he could only go as low on the price as he could. We got a better deal from him and we got a better pad underneath the carpet.

The work was fine. The only thing that I didn?t like is that when I ordered it they didn?t tell me until the very end that they would not remove or replace the boards around the room because my house was very old. I had to remove it myself and had to hire somebody else to come in to remove and paint them. I had to call them back for something.

It was some time ago...and I am posting late to Angie's List. We were helped to make the right selections of carpet for our budget and the installation was fast and clean.

We actually had Mr. Flynn himself help us in the shop and give us the estimate, with some help from one of the other guys. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgable, and very honest. I checked other places for price and availability of carpet. I think we got a very good deal. The carpet installers were on time, efficient, completed the job in a very timely manner and left the job site clean. I would use them again.

Stephanie from Flynn's Carpet Cents was amazing to work with, and I have a high bar. She gave me a great price - and I know because I shopped around including once company that gave me contractor pricing from my GC. She was able to accomodate doing the install on two different days because of other work I was doing. Installer was clean, courteous, timely, and did a great job on the install. These guys rock.

We are very pleased with the carpet, the price, and the installation. They were punctual and responsive. We had to get it installed kind of last minute, and they got their people out quickly.

Very Poor, the installer was sick and shared with my husband so he was sick the entire week we were moving. The installer did an extremely poor job of installing. We have ripples and flaws. Due to a very busy time we waited too long to complain and we were told we were past the complaint deadline. However they sent out a person to try to rectify it at our expense. That didn't work. Eventually I harassed them into trying to fix the problems but that necessitated us moving all the furniture out of their way. It's better but not right yet. As soon as I can afford it I will pull out the carpet and replace it with wood floors.

II shopped around at several flooring stores but ended up going with Flynn's. I wanted to give them my business because they were friendly, helpful, and professional. They had the best price and the quality of their in stock items was terrific.! I got a lot for my money.

We had our carpets cleaned by Flynn's Home Services and wanted to leave feedback on the wonderful job they did. They were on time and very professional. They made my dirty, stained chairs look brand new!!! Our carpets look great as well and would use Flynn's again!! We are happy customers!!

It was absolutely perfect. I have recommended them to three other people who went with them. They beat the price compared to everybody else and they were very very efficient. They were here when they said they were going to be and left everything clean. It was really nice. How do I over agree carpet. I priced just about everywhere. I would use them again in the future.

I called the Federal Way store. They wanted me to come to the show room first, select material, then they would come to my house. I have 2 small kids, not very convenient. Not to mention that I cannot bring my house with me to check colors. Lastly is time. I was collecting multiple bids. 3 other companies were happy to come to my house with samples. They asked a few questions so they would have an idea of what I wanted, then they brought samples to me. My phone call to Flynn's was a far as our business went.

They quoted me a price, set a delivery schedule, and performed the installations on time and within the quoted budget. They did the job right the first time. The installers were very courteous and not bothered by my hovering and watching every step of the work performed.

They were great about helping me select carpet for two rooms. I needed a fast turnaround and they were able to deliver...carpet was installed within 24 hours of my walking in to the store. The installer was professional and did a great job. He also did an excellent job cleaning up after the installation.

Every turned out very well and I was very satisfied with the work. They really did clean my carpets and got out a few stubborn stains. They were a bit expensive but they were well worth the cost. The customer service was really great.

When I arrived at the Lynnwood store, both owners were there. The owners directed their manager to help me. While I was looking, one of the owners came over and said he purchased 4-5 huge rolls of a beautiful brown rental quality carpet.The owner told me the price per square foot and I has shocked how low. I immediately said yes- because the other stores I went to had kinda cheap, thin carpet at way higher price per square foot. I then got a fantastic price for the pad. Then I heard the install should cost about $1000 for this 1600 sq ft home. the owner said cut off $350 from this price. The install went perfect, even after I asked for special carpet metal strips, and asked a run of concrete floor, (once a garage) be carpeted. All was done perfect. I could not see a seam or error. After the job was complete, the carpet and pad looked and felt like something I could have paid one-and-a-half times more $. - Barry

Paul did a fantastic job of cleaning two 30 year old very dirty upholstered swivel rockers. He thoroughly cleaned each chair with different cleaners for different stains. He even got a Silly Putty stain out that I have worked on several times to no avail! We were going to throw out the chairs but decided to try having them cleaned first. Needless to say, we'll be using them for a long time to come. Our grandkids will be happy that we saved the expense of buying new chairs, so now we can spend more on them at Christmas!.

From when they arrived (on time!!) the tech explained the processes he was going to do to help make sure my carpets were going to be cleaned correctly. As I watched, he was very friendly and answered any question that I had about the cleaning supplies and where the water goes. Very knowledgeable about the products and service. When he was done, he gave an estimate on how long they carpet needed to dry, gave me my paperwork and left.

I went in and was fortunate to meet Daniel. He was so helpful, non-rushed and super low-pressure. He showed me the product inventory they had immediately available that day and showed me the potential for a thousand other choices if I'd rather order something. They carry high quality brands. We decided on a Mohawk brand laminate floor. I really wanted to get my husband's opinion on color choice. Though they'd be closing soon, Daniel said he'd stay open so I could drive home and come back with my husband. We wanted to do the installation ourselves so, while my husband was there, Daniel thorougly explained the installation process and said he'd be available for any questions that came up. He said it would be a piece of cake and gave us a lot of confidence. We bought just the right amount and had everything we needed for the job and indeed it went in great.

This is repeat business to Flynn's. We had earlier purchased Mohawk laminate flooring from Flynn's. We like the experience so much the first time, we'll use them again and again. Daniel remembered us from prior business with him and was just as helpful as before. I appreciate his honesty; if he doesn't have something in stock that he can tell you like, then he'll recommend ordering something. We ordered a high-quality K-Tech vinyl and the delivery time was next day. We installed our own laminate flooring and vinyl but will have a larger, more difficult kitchen/dining room flooring job. We described it to Daniel and he offered to come to our house and look to give advice on floor prep requirements. We will very likely hire Flynn's to do the installation on this larger job once the floor prep is done.
