Ryan, our sales representative was great! Easy to work with and quick to help us with our needs. Our installer arrived on time, and went straight to work. He was very courteous and obviously knew his work well! He did a great job!

The installer arrived on time and finished the work in a couple hours. I had someone else open the house for him since I had a scheduling conflict, but was able to meet him at the end of the job. Very pleasant and did a nice job of installing and cleaning up. Excellent job!

Worker was on time and demonstrated he had experience with this kind of service. He worked without any breaks and did a very satisfactory job.

Great! The only issue I had was I noticed that areas of the carpet that could not be done with Powerstretcher does not cover the space as it did before but we are happy to have the carpet without wrinkles.

Stephanie and Daniel at the showroom were very patient with us as we asked many questions and reviewed several bids. We chose to go with them based upon our experience with them. The installation was scheduled for three days so we could manage the moving of items between rooms between their work. The installers were very good and we are very pleased with the results. We hope to replace carpeting in our bedrooms upstairs someday and would use them again based upon this experience.

After trying to rid carpet of dog urine odor with professional carpet cleaning - 4 times, including turning carpet upside down - we decided that replacing the carpet in this occupied rental house was the only answer. New tenants had stated they would move out if carpet not replaced. Flynn's not only had the best price, the right carpet, but were able to replace the carpet and pad - including sealing the plywood sub-floor with the house occupied - within one week from date of the order. They did this by doing one-half of each room on the first day then the other half on the second day. Later, when tenant questioned black marks on the carpet, Flynn's responded by sending a carpet expert to the rental house that same day. Flynn's found the black marks were made by the carpet manufacturer. Flynn's easily and immediately removed the marks. There is no question about it - Flynn's fast, excellent, affordable service saved us from an immediate, unscheduled rental vacancy !!!

We were quoted for vinyl and carpet and only went with the vinyl as we decided to wait on the carpet. Stephanie helped us with the initial sales and was very friendly, knowledgable and responsive with all of our questions. Dan did our measurments and was very thourogh and professional. The acutal work was performed by Tony who was amazing. He was very professional and efficient. The vinyl turned out wonderful, Tony has a great eye for detail. A small water leak was discovered when the kitchen floor was being layed and Tony was right there helping my boyfriend to get the water shut off, cleaned up and fixed. I would definately recommend Tony for any vinyl work you may have.

We were very pleased with their service. From the initial contact in their store to the last day of carpet installation, we found Flynn's staff very professional. They did an amazing job of matching our old carpet in the living room with the new carpet. We were particularly impressed with the work ethic of the carpet installer. He was like the Energizer Bunny - he just kept going and going. We highly recommend Flynn's Carpet Cents.

I was pleased with the level of service I received from Flynn's Carpet Cents. When I went into their small showroom in Lynnwood, I had just finished dealing with Empire Carpet, so I was expecting the same used car sales experience. It was great being wrong. Their sales team, showed me a variety of carpet, and they had the exact carpet and warranty I was looking for, the price was really good. Though, I was surprised at how much carpet was in general...regardless of who was selling it. They took the time to unroll several styles of carpet, helped me select different hardwood and tile samples to see how they looked together, and I was able to take photographs and some good sized samples home with me. I really appreciated their willingness to just let me come to the conclusion of what carpet was best for me. No pressure from them, at all. Installation day came, and I was unable to be present. I was worried, as this is a significant investment and I didn't want to have to deal with any miscommunication or quality issues. Their installer called me with a couple questions, and when I returned home later that day, the work was complete. It looked great. I am 100% satisfied with the work they did. The carpet is only a couple days old, so I can't comment on the wear and durability of the carpet. But, as of now, everything looks great! Thank you.

Contacted Flynn's for a simple carpet install for a rental home we own. What we wanted was just carpet for the upstairs, and a few tack strips. We had already torn out the existing carpet and just wanted an honest install. The house was vacant so no need for furniture shuffling. We had previously contacted both of the big box stores in the area, and after dealing with them trying to upsell us on everything, and charging all kinds of extras for every little thing on their "Free" install, we were pretty frustrated. All I wanted was a contractor that would come in, quote me an honest price for carpet and labor, and do the job quickly and professionally. At the end of the day, that?s exactly what I got from Flynn?s. I contacted them near closing time on a Tuesday, and they were able to get someone out to measure by mid-morning the next day. They came out, did a very fast professional measure, evaluated the two spots where we wanted transition pieces, and called us back 2 hours later with a fair quote. 2 days later the install was complete. They were careful, courteous, and professional, and all our freshly painted walls are ding-free. Ultimately we paid for materials used and labor, they didn?t try to sell us a bunch of stuff we didn?t want or need, and I felt the price was very reasonable. I will use them again and will recommend their service. It is nice to deal with a professional contractor who is willing to just come in and do the specced job.

Overall, I could not be happier with this experience. I got three bids from vendors, all of whom I found on Angie's List. Flynn's beat out the competitors because they gave me the best price and they made the greatest effort to find exactly the product I wanted. When I met with Mark Murdoch I told him I wanted something that was A) attractive, B) as indestructible as possible, C) easy to live with, and D) easy to maintain. The product I had in mind after talking to a couple of flooring companies and doing a lot of web research was a high-end, "luxury" vinyl. What made it challenging was that I wanted the flooring on my stairs as well as my floors. The other bidders either could not or would not find a product that I liked - I wanted something that could be installed on stairs and that didn't need to be glued down - but Mark found exactly what I was looking for: a vinyl planking product that included bullnose pieces for stair treads. http://devinecolorfloor.com/products/devinelock.html The cost for the flooring was high - higher than I really wanted to pay, but Flynn's price for this product was the same as I was quoted from other vendors for the same or similar products, so their price was not out of line by comparison. In the end, I decided not to compromise and select a cheaper product because I really don't want to have to replace my flooring again, and with this product -- it has a 20-year warranty -- I won't have to. Installation cost was competitive with one other bidder and significantly lower than the third bidder. Ollie was in charge of the installation, and I have to say that he busted his hump to make sure the job was done right. It took a bit longer than originally planned because they mis-measured the stair treads and had to order more bullnose pieces, but that didn't present a real problem for me. The installation took about five days overall, 4.5 days for the first phase and a half day to finish the job. It actually worked out better for me to have it done in two phases, because in the week between the first and second phase I had time to go through the house and create a "fix-it"list. The fix-it list mostly consisted of places where baseboard pieces needed to be re-attached or replaced - a few pieces were damaged, through no fault of Ollie's (they'd been damaged by another contractor years ago). Ollie tried to find new baseboard that matched the existing, but was unable to, so he suggested that he take baseboard out of a closet I use for storage and repurposing it to replace damaged baseboard in open areas, which is what we ended up doing. He bought and installed a different baseboard in that closet to replace what he took out. Because I opted to go over budget on the floor, I'm not in a position to replace all of the baseboard throughout the house, so I really appreciated the extra effort Ollie made to make my existing baseboard look as good as possible. The floor looks terrific. The vinyl planking looks like hardwood (it looks more like hardwood than laminate does), it's easy on my feet and it's vinyl so it's going to be very easy to clean and maintain. Ollie did a careful job of installing it so I can't find any flaws anywhere - and I looked for them. Everyone at Flynn's was great to work with, but in particular I can't say enough good things about Ollie. I have only one very minor quibble; they charged my credit card for the balance due on the job before the installation was fully completed. If I wasn't confident that Ollie was going to keep at it till I was completely satisfied, I'd have been unhappy about that; but as it was, I did have confidence by that point that Flynn's was going to make sure I was happy with my new floors, so I am okay with it.

I would never have found this company if not for Angie's List. I stopped in to look at samples and received an estimate in writing right then. Sales people were friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. I returned a few weeks later and took home samples which I kept for several days. When I returned the samples I placed my order. Once the carpet arrived (about 1 week) they called and set an appointment for installation (next day!). That morning they called and said one of the installers had a family emergency and they were working to find another. They were able to rearrange their schedule and the installers were there just a little late. I had already moved out all my small stuff so really appreciated their efforts. Installers were very nice and did a great job! Very positive experience. Would definitely recommend them.

I call them, and talked to mark; they were excellent. Sent someone out to look at the floors and he even picked up a transition strip from home depot so I would not have to go myself. We he a little bit of an issue, they had gentlemen who had to come out and work by himself. He came out around noon and stayed unit about 7pm. The gentlemen who put the flooring in came out, and did everything perfect. I will be using them to put carpet in a few months. I would defiantly use them again; they were very good at responding to me. I was very impressed.

The deal was made before the salesman relaized the I live outside thier deliver area. They waived the delivery fee because of the misunderstanding. I offered to pay it, but they were so nice about the whole thing.

I love Flynn's. I just had to have them come back because some of the grout is cracking. They are going to take care of it after all this time. They did a great install the house just settle a bit.

I was thinking about going to Home Depot because the store is big and I thought I liked the special 24 month no interest financing. plus a $37 whole house carpet install. I knew there would be add ons to the $37 but they charge for every stair, moving furniture, carpet removal and the bucks started adding up quickly. On top of that nobody in the carpet department was really all that interested in helping me select a good carpet for my needs. They were friendly enough in the sore but I wasn't getting any sense that they cared one bit about my project. I checked Angie's list to see if I could find highly rated local companies. Flynn's Carpet Cents came in near the top and they were in my neck of the woods. I felt like they took the time to listen to my needs, pulled some carpet out so I could test it with the carpet pad I had selected, and I could immediately see that I could go with a less expensive carpet. No hard sell here but when I asked for an opinion they gave it. I will be ordering my new carpet from them tomorrow plus some laminate tile for my bathroom. I will let you know how the install goes. So far I am impressed.

Flynn's answered my email promptly requesting an estimate for no cost, even though they are located in Lynnwood, a considerable distance away. We built in enough time for choosing, ordering and installing the product, but Flynn's could have done it faster if needed. They accommodated our schedule, installing on the day we requested. A very professional job was done. The installer was a Flynn's employee, not a sub. He cleaned up after the project. I had investigated other companies. One said my job was too small for them to come all the way down to Kent from north of Seattle. Another company wanted to charge me $50 for the estimate/measuring if I did not select them. I got a good, free estimate from another carpet company. In addition to carpet, they sold hardwood, countertops and other products. Flynn's carpet selection was actually better than this store, even though they are at a smaller location. Flynn is a high quality company that I would recommend to anyone. We had a small project, with very specific requirements and they came through with a better price than the "big box guys".

From the sales experience in the store to the install, every part of working with Flynn's teams were seamless! Excellent pricing on high quality products. Good stuff!

Not sure I really believe I would have gotten any recognition for this glitch on their part if I had not asked. I found Flynn's on Angie's List and thought they had such good reviews I should try them. I took a friend with me and was met by Mark who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed us the in stock carpets and also answered any questions we had. He allowed us to take a sample card home and check it out. I went back shortly after and ordered the carpet at a very good deal. I had told him my absolute lowest price range and he met that with a very nice carpet option as well as a high end pad. He was able to come by at the end of the week to measure it and give me the final quote. I agreed to the purchase and arranged for delivery and installation one week later. All went well when Jeff came and installed the tack strip and pad. Unfortunately the rain stated and did not let up. Jiff tried to use tarps and still cut and install. WHen the carpet got too wet he rolled out the main piece to dry and suggested he could come back on Sunday 2 days later. I said sure, we set a time. Unfortunately he did not show. I spoke with Daniel at the store and he could not find him and apparently they do not rountinely install or have the store open on Sunday. I waited another hour (total of 2 hours past the time and made other arrangement for my day. Daniel called the next day, apologized and we set the finish day for Wednesday and that went off without a hitch. A couple of points. I called on the next day and asked if there was room for compensation (took a lot of guts for me to ask) and was granted $100, which helped. Daniel told me he had been going to call me and offer, felt a little false as he could have done that the day before. Pretty sure I would not have gotten any offer if I hadn't asked. It also would have been good if the installer, Jeff, had said something to me when he finally came to finish , maybe an apology? All in all, I love the carpet and would consider going back there, maybe ask for a different installer next time.

Although this was a small job, we received excellent service. When I initially started the project I thought I would be able to purchase the materials at a local store. However, they only carried metal and wood transition strips and were not familiar with the rubber transition strips I was looking for, which lead me to call Flynn's. I spoke with Mark, who was able to quote me a price immediately and schedule an installation date. He even called me back within 30 minutes to let me know that he already ordered the product and that because it was a special order, it would take 5 days longer to get in than he originally anticipated. Once the strip came in, Daniel called and scheduled the installation within a few days. The installer showed up right on time and was very polite. I was impressed with how attentive he was to detail. He recommended placing tack strips under the carpet to insure it would stay in place indefinitely, which was not how he was originally going to install the strip, but found it necessary as he began the installation. He offered to come back the next day, once the adhesive had set, and complete the job. Daniel also called that afternoon to confirm the return appointment. I was very appreciative that they were so attentive to detail on such a small job; I felt valued as a customer. I highly recommend Flynn's and will absolutely use them again!

When I called Flynn's Carpet Cents, I wanted to make an appointment to have someone come out and look at the areas I needed carpeted and get input on what type of carpets would work best for my needs. I was told, however, that I would have to go to their showroom first and pick out the carpet and then someone would come to the house to measure. I was surprised that they wouldn't measure first and give me ideas on what type of carpets to look for in their showroom. I opted to go with someone who was willing to give me more help.

Jim, my carpet salesman was great. We had an excellent rapport and he took good care of me. I was in a time crunch and didn't have time to go from store to store, taking home samples, searching through hundreds of choices, comparing prices, etc. I needed it done now! So I just went on Angie's List and the reviews said Flynn's Carpet Cents had better prices than the big box stores and everyone seemed happy with the service. So I called and explained the features I needed to Jim. He recommended Dupont SmartStrand. I went online and saw it came in many colors and sounded perfect. So I drove all the way from Renton to Lynnwood to choose my color. I imagined an enormous store but I almost drove past it because it was just a small storefront in an industrial strip mall. It turned out they had two, yes TWO colors of the Dupont SmartStrand. They had samples of about twenty other carpets, but he steered me away from some that he knew I wouldn't be happy with in the long run. Luckily, even though they only had a whopping two choices, one of them was perfect for me. And it was only $1.29 yard after my Angie's List discount. That's waaaaay cheaper than the big box stores. I haven't quite figured them out. Maybe they get a good deal by ordering a massive amount of carpet in just a couple neutral colors rather than trying to stock dozens of them (?) Anyway, it worked out well for me. It's certainly worth checking them out because although the choices are limited, if they do have something you like, you'll save a small fortune. Ask for Jim; he's pretty cool. Installation went smoothly and I'm loving my carpet. Oh, be sure to move all the furniture yourself that you possibly can. They charge $75 per large item to move it. That adds up quickly. I managed to move all but three items myself.

Flynn's Carpet guys came in and did a wonderful job stretching my carpet. We had several areas and heavy furniture and neither were a problem. The guys were nice, professional and got everything done in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Flynn's Carpet Cents did an excellent job on my project. From the beginning they were very helpful and flexible in meeting our needs. The estimator arrived promptly on schedule, did detailed measurements and went through various carpet options and pricing. I received a detailed quote via email the next day. We wanted to see more samples in the showroom, so we visited and picked a carpet which they gave us a great deal on. Removal and installation was done by a great crew of 2 working together. They were efficient, detail oriented, and professional. Whenever there was a question about something, they always informed us of the choices and then carried out whatever we decided on, with never a complaint. When complete, they did a walk through to make sure we were happy, and cleaned up completely before leaving. I'm very pleased with the quality of the carpet itself, as well as the installation quality. The carpet is smooth, seams are invisible, and the patterns are matched up. The baseboard woodwork is also crisp and well done. Overall my experience was superb, and I highly recommend Flynn's.

Very straightforward experience. The store is a warehouse with rolls of carpet available for your perusal. The salesman and I looked at a number of samples before choosing one. Then we chose a pad. All were in stock. There is obviously some room for negotiation because there are no tags with prices on them, and the salesman wanted to "work up a quote" before telling me the price of the pad. That being said, prices here are still in line or better than big flooring stores. The installation was 2 days later. The installer arrived on time as expected and had the job completed in about an hour and a half. The price I put above included the carpet, pad, installation, and tax. Carpet looks great and I'm a happy customer.
