Environix Testing & Remediation

It was fine. I don't remember much about the time.

I was very happy their service. They did what I asked. They drove over an hour to come to my house. Their rate was higher than usual due to the distance they drove.

It was very good. I could hear the fan while I was sleeping. We had no complaints.

It went well. They were professional. He was good to deal with. He explained the technology of it all pretty well.

They were very prompt, thorough and responsive. The charge to come out and inspect was $250 with 200$ to be applied to work if we hired them for cleanup.. We decided to get cleanup through someone else whose bid was about half. The staff are courteous and professional and the report was extremely detailed..

They came out very quickly to give the bid. They did the work as promised. They provided a really good warranty, which is important when you're selling a home. It was all good things.

He was incredibly thorough and experienced. He explained everything to me, assured me it was all fixable and explained in great detail how we could clean up the mold issue ourselves since our case wasn't very bad. He checked for moisture in another location in the house and helped me problem solve that issue as well. He had a good sense of humor and lightened my stress right away with his "no problem" attitude. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat.

Inspection went very well. They are excellent in the work that they do, and could answer any question. They arrived on time and did not miss anyplace in the house during the inspection of mold, and were finished within an hour. At the end they sat down with me and explained the type of mold found, if it was actve (New) mold or not, and how to fix it. Went over with me all the areas inspected and these guys are really excellent. No problems with them. Very happy with the service and would use them again.

I think they did alright with the job. They were a little expensive for one day work but they did alright. I don’t have anyone to compare their price to, I just contacted them to the work. I can’t judge the quality of their work. They were up in the attic and did their thing and said that it was all taken care of. They gave us a quote and stuck with it. The guy who came was very courteous and nice.

Given the potential issues with a problem like this, I did alot of research and interviewed a number of potential providers. Kathy and Jody in the office were clearly experienced and leaps and bounds above the other services in the amount of information they provided on the phone and depth of of their knowledge. Although there was an initial scheduling problem, it was dealt with quickly and Jeremy showed up on the day scheduled. He explained the process in detail so we knew what to expect, was very mindful of the living spaces, put down plastic everywhere, totally sealed the work space off and did a great job. It was all done in a single day and we feel like we're better off that it was when the house was brand new. We would not hesitate to use them again - tho they do have a guarantee that this will not be repeated - or recommend them highly.

Removed flooring, walls, cabinets etc. right down to the foundation and the studs. ALL THIS based on their so called testing...turns out they think a scientifically valid test is the "VISUAL TEST" ! When we insisted on a real laboratory testing be done to clear the house and prove that they had done what they promised to do, Environix (Tim) got all huffy and charged us an additional $ 400.00. The test came back positive...off the charts positive for a number of contaminates. Note: the air quality test was performed in the center of where their remediation work was done. Environix stood firm that we would have to pay for any additional or corrective work to do. When you read in the contract or on thier web-site: Whole home, holistic approach, "LIFETIME WARRENTY. GUARANTEED PROTECTION" Don't you believe it. However, they did initially show up on time. For additional removal of contaminates we went with Clean Crawls and they did a great job for a reasonalble price.

Josh showed up promptly for his appointment, and did an inspection of the attic and the existing fans in the house. He determined that there was not enough ventilation on average to cycle the air in the house for air quality and moisture reduction reasons. That lack of ventilation combined with the original design of the attic, lead to a pocket of moist air in one corner that was the source of the mold. He ran me through the details and was very knowledgeable. Since I'm in the process of selling my house, he was extremely accommodating in getting me the report and bid before the normal three day window. In fact, everyone I spoke with at the entire company was extremely professional and polite. Christian showed up on the scheduled day to do the actual remediation work. Again, extremely professional and early. The first hour he was here was spent putting down plastic everywhere he would be working. He even built a plastic "booth" from the attic down to his plastic on the floor, around his ladder. The attention to detail and extreme cleanliness was very impressive. They probably aren't the cheapest, but with their attention to detail AND the transferable lifetime (of the building!) warranty against the return of mold, it is worth it.

The whole inspection took only about half an hour- he took pictures, performed tests and made notes. A few days later they emailed us a 12 page report complete with pictures and estimates. The work needed isnt' as expensive as we had anticipated. Good advice and service.

They did their job. Nothing unfavorable.

The work was a little drawn out due to having to coordinate with roofing contractor as well, but once the contract was signed and we were on their schedule they delivered on work and time exactly as they laid out they would. Very happy with the work, and still have one more condo we are waiting on to complete the same job on.

They were prompt, courteous, and knew what they were doing. The technician finished sooner than anticipated. I would highly recommend and use them again!!

They came on time and called just before to let me know they would be there at the scheduled time. So it was very complete, done when promised and met our needs relative to sale of the property.

It went well. They were professional, thorough, easy to talk to, and gave us a clear picture of what needed to be done in order to properly restore the property. Their bid was comprehensive, and the did the work just as promised.

Environix came to my house to determine if I had a mold problem. They inspected the house from sub-basement to attic. They checked for air leaks and ventilation air flow and took an air sample for laboratory testing. The result was no mold problem, but probably an air quality problem due to not enough air circulation and holes between floors and walls that let the wrong air circulate. The made recommendations about how to remedy the air problems. The most significant was to turn off the ultra-violet light on the heating system. It ionizes the air as it passes thru and creates ozone, which is unhealthy to breath. I unplugged the unit on the spot. They were very thorough and explained everything they were doing and what they discovered.

I called to get a quote for mold remediation and was told they would not come to my house unless I agreed to pay a non-refundable fee of $175. The fee would not even be applied toward the work to be done. Very unprofessional on the phone.

Dan was very professional. Incredibly informative and thorough. Beautifully written report for insurance arbitration and contractors. Kathy who is the person answering the phone and scheduling was also incredibly helpful and assisted us with the process to fight our Insurance claim denial. Great team to be part of.
