I called a few other companies that were just not helpful or would any provide info about the process on. Was getting frustrated! When I called environix they were super helpful and kind. Provided lots of info, got the project and did an amazing job!! Two thumbs up!

Very thorough and prompt. All work was performed in a professional manner. Mike was technician performing the work at my house. He took all necessary steps to protect my house and make sure everything was clean before leaving. He was on time and explained the work that he would be performing.

Not great. They wouldn't provide a statement of work that broke down what the $2000 estimate was for. After speaking with their representative, I asked if we could just get photos showing before /after and that the mold spot had been remediated, again nothing. Finally, they wanted the full $2000 to be paid 2 days prior to any work being completed. Have decided to pay the $175 for inspection and go with another provider who has better business practices and is more forthcoming in their work.

+ -1 moreWe had a possible roof leak in a very cramped attic space. A different company's free estimate misdiagnosed the problem and wouldn't venture into the cramped area to look or work on it. Environix was highly recommended by our roofer. They were available within a few days, showed up promptly and did a very thorough inspection everywhere in the attic. The report measured air flow and other things through the attic - written up with photos. They found a few small issues to fix but did not recommend any treatment by them. I appreciated their thoroughness, detailed report and not pushing unneeded treatment. Well worth the price of inspection. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I contacted Environix as we discovered that we had some light mold in our attic. I spoke to the office manager, Katheryn, who was very helpful and knowledgeable on the process. She organized for one of the technicians, Tyler, to come out to do an attic inspection. Shortly after the visit, Tyler sent me a very comprehensive and thorough report detailing both his findings complete with photos and an attic remediation proposal. Tyler was responsive, patient and detailed in answering my various follow-up questions. Overall I found this company to be professional, organized, thorough, experienced and knowledgeable. Their communication skills and customer service were exceptional. Although we did not continue ahead with this company for their mold remediation services, I have no doubt that they would have done an excellent job.

Tim conducted very scientific evaluation with results explained in easy to understand conversation pointing out findings. Total time in the house was about an hour. Remediation was not needed and instructions to fix stain and prevent further issues were given. Friendly and professional service. Within a week an incredibly detailed scientific and Lab data report was sent to us with all finding explanations, pictures and instructions to remedy and prevent future issues. We couldn't be more happy with service and the peace of mind and knowledge we have now.

asbestos removal
+ -1 moreWe had some water in our basement and need to have the drains repaired, so the floor (which had some questionable tile on it) needs to be ripped up. The contractor was worried that it has asbestos in it so they recommended we have it tested. When I called Environix there was a deal for getting both asbestos and mold testing so I did that because we had had some water problems. Dustin arrived on time, was very informative and completed the testing quickly. We heard back in a few days with emailed detailed reports. They also provided recommendations for companies that provide asbestos abatement. Highly recommend!

Very reassuring to know the problem was a leak, and hadn't caused serious damage yet. Very clear verbal explanation, followed by a thorough written document. Very professional and reasonable.
Description of Work: We had a musty smell coming from the crawl space which turned out to be a leak in the pipe between the toilet and septic tank. The technician took photos to show us the problem, and did a thorough check of the crawl space to rule out mold and report on the general condition of the space. While he was here he also checked the garage for mold. He made an estimate for some remediation which we plan to do later.

Great service and technician (Dustin) was super professional and informed. Although a bit pricey, it was money well spent to know exactly what is going on in the house regarding air quality, potential issues and common sense recommendations. I saved a lot of money in the long run. I could of wasted a lot of time and money addressing non issues and pursuing unnecessary "fixes." now I am armed with great data and very specific instructions. With so much detailed info provided, I did have some follow up questions and Dustin responded immediately in a patient and respectful manner. Highly recommend.

They came out and diagnosed the problem right away. They were professional, prompt and courteous. They gave us an estimate and came to do the remediation. They put up a plastic sheet wall to contain the dust and did a very thorough job removing all the mold. Hire them, they are awesome.

Service provided exceeded my expectations. I would recommend the services of Environix and its inspector, Dustin.
Description of Work: I wanted a complete house inspection for mold. I had recurring mold growth on the interior surfaces of my garage doors and a little mold on some windows & frames. I was worried that mold might be growing along the edges of my carpet and/or underneath the carpet. The inspector did a careful inspection of my entire house including the attic and crawl space. He determined that there was no serious mold problem in my house and none growing along the edges of the carpet or below it. He recommended that I clean any visible mold with a solution of borax and water. He provided a detailed report with photos; mold inspection results; air quality test results; recommendation for a cleaning method to use to clean mold off surfaces ; a suggestion to use a specific model of fan in one bathroom to get better ventilation; and a recommendation to hire a plumber to check for a possible leak in a water pipe above an area in the crawl space. The inspection cost $648.00 including the Angie's List member's discount. The inspection was conducted by Dustin, who was very pleasant, polite , neat and professional. He answered all of my questions during the 2 1/2 hour inspection. I was pleased with the service I received from Dustin and Environix.

+ -1 moreEnvironix removed a massive black mold infestation in my crawl space up through my living room wall. They worked with me on price and timing as I'm a disabled Vet and don't have much money. Over a period of 5 months, in 2 visits, they evaluated the mold, advised me that my house was safe to live in during the fix, tore out all the wood, dry wall, and insulation that was infected. This gave me peace of mind while I saved up the money to remove the mold. Great manager, talented engineers, and hard working technicians. Thanks, Evironix!

Tim came to my house and was fantastic. He was able to explain to me why we were seeing what we were seeing. He inspected our crawlspace thoroughly, and took an air quality sample in the home. The report he sent later was detailed and excellent. Highly recommended.
