Environix Testing & Remediation

I happen to be submitting requests for quote on labor day and when I submitted one to Environix on their website Kathy gave me a ring an hour later! Talk about exceptional service and walked me through the process of testing for asbestos in much detail. In addition to exceptional customer service and knowledge they are priced very competitively. Trust me I do my homework on this kind of stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend Kathy and the Environix team! Thank you!

Jeff Parsons of Environix came to my home on 10/6/15 to perform an air quality assessment. He was friendly and extremely informative while performing the assessment. In addition to taking air samples for lab analysis, he walked through my home answering all my questions and providing actions needed to improve my home air quality. He provided very useful information about reducing mold and mildew in my basement area, as well as in answers to a number of related questions I had about my home. He was very prompt providing a written assessment of my home along along with lab results from the air sample. In addition he provided excellent recommendations for bathroom ceiling fan replacements to reduce the relative humidity in my home and consequently reduce mold spore levels. I would highly recommend Environix and Jeff, in particular, for home mold inspection/remediation and air quality evaluation.

I had a great experience with them. Their fee was very fair and competitive. I also felt that they were courteous, punctual and very knowledgeable in diagnosing a mold issue I was having in my home. The inspection took approximately an hour and by the time they were done they have given me an in depth assessment and very workable solutions to fix the problem. I had a full 10 page inspection report e-mailed to me within 24 hours of the appointment. They gave me piece of mind and ways to having further mold issues in the future.

I recently had an mold inspection that I felt was insufficient and overpriced. After checking Angie's list for a "top rated " company I called Environix Testing and Remediation and was directed to Kathy M. , the office manager. I explained what had happened and wanted to know how her company inspection compared. She was just the person I needed. Kathy was exceptionally knowledgeable and very easy to talk with. She took a lot of time to make sure I received all the information I needed. Kathy felt there was a good chance that I could solve the problem without their intervention and told me extactly how to go about it. And in addition, she sent a email message to me, with a summary of what she recommended, which included the names and models of bathroom fans and a website where I would get them at a good price. Then, she suggested that if the problem continued I should contact the company again and they would do an inspection at half the cost I paid for the previous inspection. Indeed I will. Obviously, customer service is a top priority with Environix Testing and Remediation. Way to go Kathy!!!!

Neighbors advised previous owners had performed an extensive interior remodel. I wanted to confirm lead abatement had been performed. I called Environix to make an appointed. They advised of prices associated with this type of testing. Jeff was punctual and performed the inspection and offered advice in how to proceed in areas with lead paint. I would definitely do business with Environix again

Would not use them if you want don't want your attic painted with white. When I asked tech if it was required, he said yes. Otherwise, "treatment was require sanding to remove mold." FALSE! Hired another company to treat mold in attic and within 24 hours wood in attic changed to nature color.

My renters moved out 3 months early due to mold in the house, I was not able to get rid of the mold no matter what I did including changing the windows, I hired Environix to figure out where the mold was coming from, they indicated in their report that it was from moisture in the air when windows are not opened regularlly and had quite a few pricey recommendations costing thousands of dollars, I decided not to proceed with that. The only helpful suggestion was installing a Panasonic Whispersoft Motion Detecting Fan in the bathroom. Few months later, I found out that the culprit was due to some dry rot in the back siding which I replaced soon after. I also replaced couple more windows where mold was detected. Environix was unable to figure out the real cause of the problem, whatever they recommended was not going to help, it was a waste of money for less than an hour of checking out a vacant house. I'd rather hire a building expert for a more thorough inspection.

All services were performed as agreed in a timely and workmanlike manner. The home sold easily and the fact that Environix provides a lifetime guarantee against regrowth of mold allayed any concerns about the issue for the buyers. The price was fair and comparable to the other company we had bid on the work.

It was smooth from the time I had emailed for an inquiry on their website. Kathryn or Kathy (the office manager) called me on a Saturday! Wow, I was pleasantly surprised. She asked why I had inquired about services so that she could get an understanding of what tests were needed. She then proceeded to tell me the tests available that would satisfy my concerns and she gave me the pricing as well. The specialist came out to do the tests and explained everything along the way. They gave us a detailed report. From start to finish, they were very efficient and friendly professionals!

I was not impressed. We pulled up the carpet and took down the walls right to the joist before they even came. They gave us a list of what in the air. The machine was left on for three days as it was supposed to. Five days later I called them to see if they could turn the machine off. They didn't know who I was. A technician came back to clean up and turn it off. They called back to say the readings were and they wanted to redo the test. They left a mess. They wrapped up most of the furniture up but some were not covered which made the readings wrong. They were unprofessional and unreliable. They didn't show up on time. I would never recommend them.
