Description of Work: Came back to shampoo my carpets after a guest dog piddled away in my house.

In addition, Jon (no charge) did a test cleaning on a brushed velvet couch seat cushion. He did a great job... so we are going to have him clean the couch in the near future.

Description of Work: I connected with Custom Solutions through Angie's Big Deal, which provided 4 rooms of carpet cleaning for $119. I needed cleaning for 3 carpeted rooms on 3 floors with two carpeted stairways in between, all beige. John of Custom Solutions said that was fine for them to do those at the Big Deal rate. I also asked to add in upholstery cleaning for two 6' white sofas (both 15 yrs old and never covered). The additional price for both of those was $150, a full $100 less than the last time I had them cleaned. I was given options for cleaning dates within the week, arranged for my schedule.When the date and time arrived, John and another man arrived on time to the minute and proceeded to vacuum thoroughly everything that they would clean. Unlike some companies, they didn't drag in a big hose from a truck outside. Instead they brought in a GIANT steam machine (very noisy--only downside) and began to steam clean. They discussed with me at the beginning exactly what they would be doing and in what order so I could plan which areas of the house to be in as they worked. The sofas took the longest time because they were soooooo thorough--I would never have had their patience and determination to remove ground in dirt and stains--GREAT JOB!!!! They did the sofas first so they would have the longest time to dry and had a professional drying fan to assist that. They worked and worked to remove stains from the carpets, as well. Stains I thought might still be there, based on past experience, were gone. There were several stains they couldn't get out, much to their dismay -- two were BEACH TAR spots in a corner that had been ground in 7 years ago -- and they looked lighter than they ever have. GREAT JOB on everything. Both men were totally professional and thoughtful; I felt safe with them in my home, and even left them in the house alone while I went for a walk with a friend. Everything took 4.5 hrs and I was able to use the sofas about 6 hours later. They recommended that I not put the decorative red pillows and throws on until the next, so I was careful about that and appreciative of that advice.

Description of Work: With our "Angie's Big Deal", we got all of the rugs in our house cleaned. We didn't have 4 rooms and a hallway (as the deal spelled out), but we had 3 rooms and 2 staircases. They were gracious enough to be flexible with the "deal".

The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room are not carpeted. This condo was empty during the time of the cleaning.

Description of Work: The two-man team vacuumed, cleaned and brushed the semi-dry carpets to raise the nap, and placed foil/plastic protectors under the furniture legs before they left. I didn't have a fourth room to be cleaned, so they kindly agreed to do the carpeting on the stairs to the second floor.
