They offered good advice on how to keep my carpets clean and their price was excellent. I could not be happier and will use them again and recommend them with the highest possible recommendation.

John was quick to reply to my email asking if he could do our carpets on a Saturday. We set the time and he arrived as scheduled. They are true professionals. Our carpets have never looked so good. They are very light colored and we have two young children. We have used two other Carpet Cleaners in the past but from now on, we will only use Custom Solutions.Custom Solutions does great work at very fair prices. The work quickly and efficiently too. + -1 more.The Custom Solutions team arrived on time, and with a full arsenal of carpet care equipment. They did a fabulous job! They removed all of the stains except the ferret stains which had interacted with the carpet dye. They deodorized the carpet, removing the pet odor and helping with the smoke odor issue. I was truly amazed at how clean the carpet was when they were done--they removed black stains which I didn't think would come out. I most highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: One upstairs bedroom, lightly soiled. Den, one bedroom, short hallway and stairs BADLY soiled. The downstairs carpeting was irresponsibly soiled by the tenant & pet ferret. The ferret had soiled a 3 ft perimeter of the den & bedroom, and the tenant had smoked in the downstairs rooms.

+ -1 moreI spoke to Jon on the phone about cleaning the carpets and stairs in my vacation rental townhouse near Green Lake.. He gave me an estimate based on type of carpet and square footage. He was able to fit me in to a rather tight schedule of projects I was doing on the house. He and his crew went in, moved what needed to be moved (I had moved as much as I could) and did a great job of getting dirt and, more importantly some stains, out of all the carpets. They now look great and are clean for the toddler soon to arrive. Jon came buy and picked up his check. Nice guy! Oh, and the actual price, with tax came in lower than the estimate!

There was a traffic patterned hallway that also had several stains in it and they got them all plus offered to come back if any re-appeared. In spite of mostly sunny skys we got a brief rain shower during their visit and one of them even came up to tell me the windows on my car were slightly open. Great experience overall, I will use them again.

But I truly appreciated their genuine concern when thoroughly answering the questions that I asked when I called. So I chose them. I've had several companies do my carpets in the past, and I guarantee that it is a treasure to have found Custom Solutions! I love clean, clean, clean carpets, yet I don't want soap build-ups or other practices that may wear out my carpets before their time. It took me a long time to find the right carpets, and I understand they last a lot longer if they are well cared for. So I'm kind of a clean carpet snob! Jon Brunsdon was delightful as he demonstrated his state-of-the art modern and ecology-friendly equipment. He had a positive and genuine attitude as he did the work and finished with time left over! He wiped up after himself and left my home with sparkly clean carpets, all the time with a smile and good nature. I am so grateful I found him on your list! What a treasure!
Description of Work: I had a small bedroom, short adjacent hall, and a few adjacent stairs that I needed cleaned. The carpet is 3 years old, has a long pile, and is a deep Merlot color. I'm very protective of that carpet and wish it could last forever! I prefer an environmentally safe cleaning agent and method to clean carpets.

+ -1 moreEverything went great. From my first contact with Jon, he was very responsive. He came out almost immediately to see the scope of the work and give me a free estimate. I was also glad that they could come do the job within a tight 2-week time frame which was essential for me. I like that Jon did not hard-sell anything and answered all my questions professionally. They arrived exactly on time, I didn't have to do a thing before or during the job - they moved everything out of the way themselves. I think they did a very hands-on job, actually taking a towel to clean the filtration soiling areas with whatever solution they used, in addition to a general vacuuming of the areas to be cleaned and the extraction cleaning itself. As we discussed beforehand, it's impossible to get filtration soiling out completely but after the cleaning, the carpets certainly look cleaner and brighter - many stains are gone and the filtration soiled areas look somewhat better. I plan to just do this regularly as part of maintenance and to prevent the filtration soiling from getting really bad over time. Overall, I'm glad I went with Custom Solutions.
Description of Work: Extraction cleaning on two stairs, a very long hallway, a large room and 3 smaller rooms. The carpet cleaning was done primarily to deal with filtration soiling which a previous professional carpet cleaning company had not done a satisfactory job on.

+ -1 moreThis ended up being the only simple thing to deal with in the whole flooding ordeal. I didn't even have to leave the house to take care of it. Foxed books, stained art mats, molding plaster, insurance companies - it should all be so easy. One day I shall move to a shack in the desert and this will be the one and only rug I take with me.
Description of Work: Just before Thanksgiving the downstairs flooded, soaking everything with several inches of rain water. As we were on our way out the door for several days holiday (leaving in 30 minutes) there was no time to do anything but lift dissolving boxes of books off the floor, throw down rags, turn on fans and lights. I came home to mold and odors that had the cats choking. Included in this mess was a 6' x 9' old Kilim from an estate sale that was of dubious cleanliness before the deluge, with damage in 1 or maybe 2 corners. The colors were brilliant but so was the fragrance. I found this business on Angie's list and called to get an address. Instead Jon came to my house, told me he would have to charge me the minimum ($100) but no delivery fee and it would take a week or so. The price seemed high but the convenience was GREAT. I had very little hope for the rug but he called about a week later and said it was ready and then tried to prepare me for the worst: there was some damage to the corners (I didn't expect them to heal), the colors had bled a little (it was so molded together when I gave it to him I was expecting a modern abstract) but the odor was gone (really? yeah, sure.) He again delivered it, no charge. Everything he said was true. It survived better than my books, art and walls.

I have a "binge and purge" cat so there were some spots I was a little concerned about but they were no problem for Jon. I also had a mishap with a burning, stray pinecone that somehow escaped the fireplace. There was a little charred spot but he got that out, too. I recommend Jon and Custom Solutions 1001%.

+ -1 moreThe process started with Angie's List of course. My husband called Custom Solutions and received a quote over the phone based on my husband's description of our new home. We needed the carpets cleaned before moving in as the previous owners had a dog. They arrived on time and were very thorough. While they were working on the carpets they answered questions I had about the three different types of carpet that's in the house. They showed me ways to care for it and recommended a vacuum cleaner as we needed to purchase a new one. They also showed us areas of the house that due to higher traffic the carpet was more worn out. We have since purchased rugs to cover those areas. When they were finished they pointed out that their estimate was low due to us forgetting to mention a portion of the house to them over the phone. They honored their original quote as well as the Angie's List discount. We are due for another cleaning soon (if not already) and will not hesitate to call these guys first. Description of Work: Jon and David did a wonderful job cleaning the carpets of our new house. They were on time and very thorough. We had tons of questions for them about the type of carpet we have as we were only used to older, cheaper shag carpet. They also answered questions and gave opinions about some of the best vacuum cleaners. And thanks to them we're the happy owners of a wonderful vacuum cleaner! Price was reasonable and included discount as advertised on Angie's List. I was looking for a service that used cleaning method that was low moisture and safe for animals and they provided that service. On the scheduled day, they arrived on time and the job took approximately 2.5 hrs. Carpets look great.

+ -1 moreJon provided an estimate over the phne that was very competitive. I scheduled the date for the carpet cleaning later that week. He and another worker arrived on time and completed all of the cleaning within two hours, as promised. The carpet was very dirty, mostly due to our large Alaskan malamute. Due to the carpet's age they could not get the carpet completely clean, but it looked good and all of the dog-related stains were gone.
Description of Work: The wall-to-wall carpet was cleaned in the living room, dining room, bathroom, hallway, stairs, and master bedroom.

Description of Work: We had our family room and great room cleaned. I hadn't had it done in awhile so there were some stains. They did an excellent job. Got stains out, it smelled fresh, and dried quickly. I will call them again when we get ready to clean my upstairs carpets. I found a keeper in this company. + -1 moreI scheduled them to come out to clean the carpets on a Angie's List Big Deal coupon (had to re-schedule and even that went very well!). When they arrived (on time!) I was a little skeptical as they were not in the usual truck mounted van type vehicle. I asked if this was truck mounted and they said no, it was portable, and I thought "uh-oh, this isn't going to go well." They spot cleaned the spots (I have a cat. Enough said.) and steam cleaned the carpets until they were perfect! I was thrilled. They even had a big dryer on them for awhile. They raked them nicely, too. He mentioned as they were leaving to call if the spots reappear as they guarantee their work. They carpets are completely clean, all spots and traffic pattern - gone - and they were completely dry this morning. They were very professional, quick and very thorough. I will be using them again without a doubt. They did not charge a trip fee. They were willing to come on a Saturday at no extra charge. They are A++! Give them a try. You will be happy with their work. They guarantee it.

+ 0 moreDavid Summers was very personable and helpful. He described the process and he made an extra trip to the house to drop of the cleaned rugs as I had to change the date for the carpet cleaning. The carpets were cream and did have a some staining in one of the bedrooms. I was very pleased with the results. David Summers came to do the cleaning with one other individual. They were quick, and clean with the work. The bulk of the water was extracted and the carpets dried very quickly. I would use this company again and have recommended it to a few neighbors. The cost of the job is approx as I do not have my records with me as I write.
Description of Work: Cream colored carpet on stairs, upstairs landing, two bedrooms. One large and one small oriental-type wool rugs were taken away to be cleaned.
