I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Sept. of 09 and in Oct. I was notified by a freind that Clean & Simple cleaning wanted to make my life easier and come and clean my house once a month for FREE while I was going through chemotherapy, needless to say I was blown away and wanted to understand why they would want to do this for free and there reply was, this is what we do so you dont have to worry about a clean house when you dont feel so good, the employees even volunteer their time and hard work. I have never even thought of having my house cleaned by a service but I can honestly say I am amazed how good it feels to have such a clean home and to not have lifted a finger. I will continue to recomend such a great company and I am very proud that they are working and volunteering in my community.

They were prompt when they came out to do an estimate. That was it; I did not use them though. They were fine and professional. They looked over everything but the prices were a little bit high. I wasn't exactly sure that they were going to do the cleaning that I wanted because I am kind of particular. I really did not have much of an experience with them, so I cannot really give them a grade. I mean they came out just to talk to me about an estimate. The experience was average.

Clean and Simple Cleaning has been cleaning our home once a week since 1998. They are respectful and careful of our older kitty, and are very gentle around her. They are responsivie to our needs, always ready to accomodate our schedule if it changes. Finishes in our home have recently been upgraded with products that require very specific cleaning methods. Their high quality work is thorough and second to none. After each cleaning, they leave a customer comment card asking for feedback for that day. I love coming home to see the house sparkle! I have recommended them to several friends who have given me the same feedback.

The crew arrived on time and prepared for the job with all materials. Towels were put down before any cleaning supplies were placed on my pergo floors, a precaution not necessary but appreciated. They immediately began working without additional instruction, which was impressive since I only have my home cleaned once or twice a year with the service. Their instructions were obviously clear as to what needed to be done. The crew cleaned all three bathrooms (full), kitchen, up and downstairs. All upstair floors had to be mopped and they were done by hand. The bathroom tubs/showers including the glass doors sparkled so clean. I still have no idea how they got them that way. Every metal faucet gleamed with no water spots and everything was put back exactly as it was or better. The kitchen was spotless and the stovetop and burners looked brand new again. While the crew was in my home they were polite, courteous and non-abtrusive. I would abslutely use Clean and Simple again and invite any of their crews into my home. They were professional, thorough and well worth every penny.

I DON'T MAKE IT A HABIT TO REVIEW VENDORS; BUT WHEN I SAW THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT CLEAN AND SIMPLE CLEANING, I REALLY TOOK EXCEPTION since I know them to be a very good firm that has worked hard to earn my admiration. I'm not the easiest customer to satisfy; but when a good job has been done for almost 20 years, I don't believe or respect that one-time customer's bad reviews and I felt compelled to respond! The same owner has owned Clean and Simple Cleaning, Stacy McMillian all this time and I know for a fact that many employeers have been there for 10+ years. I have a beautiful home in Picnic Point Estates in Edmonds; and my prior home they cleaned was four levels on Magnolia Blvd. West in Seattle, WA. Prior to engaging Clean and Simple Cleaning, I tried MANY services including Merry Maids and private parties, etc. and was dissatisfied with all of them. Consistency was the main problem with others. I have also RECOMMENDED Clean and Simple to many other homeowners who currently use their services as well! I also know the company is dedicated to helping needy people with free cleaning services through their National Association and I am aware that Clean and Simple has a very excellent training program for employees. It is hard to achieve consistent, high quality services year in and year out with normal employee turnover, etc. BUT CLEAN AND SIMPLE CLEANING SERVICES deserves credit for achieving that level of service. I highly encourage any customers to look at the returning, long-term customers reviews and not a one-stop customer. I just don't believe what she says!! I leave money and jewelry and medicine laying about my bedroom. I have NEVER had one thing improperly touched!!! They find pennies or dimes and even put them on a counter for you. That poor review is soooooooooooooo unwarranted!!! Last, let me add, that I do not know Stacy McMillan on a personal basis and have only met her once when she bid my house. You will not be dissappointed by their services!!!!

A friend asked me, ?If you were to pick one word to describe your experience with this company, what would it be?? My immediate response was DISGUSTED. From the start, I followed THEIR processes for every aspect of the promises they made to me; unsatisfactory work/damage to property/theft, etc. They have not, to this day, followed their own processes, changing what they said they would do and not do, to fit their landscape of what took place. After their last visit to clean my home on July 13, 2009, when the brand new employee they sent to clean told me ?Oh, that?s not the name this company knows me by. My name is Peggy. They don?t know that?, I knew things were getting weird. She FLEW around the house, leaving a FULL, HEAVY, UPRIGHT vacuum cleaner near the TOP of a long flight of stairs, allowing it to crash below and seriously damage the marble floor and imbedded mosaic from the Mediterranean, and help herself to a bottle of prescription narcotics for a family members? post surgical relief (she took the entire bottle with her), and $500 cash that was in a drawer, in an envelope, out of sight. The senior cleaning team member that day was someone I came to truly care about and admire. When the vacuum cleaner crashed down the stairs, the senior person ran to look at the damage to the floor and said ?Yes, I see it. It?s bad. You will have to call the company and talk to them. They will not believe me.? Another red flag goes up for me. Why would they not believe this lovely person, one of their own employees? I also told her that her teammate was not getting things done at all; no cleaning had been done by her. So what was she spending her time on? The senior cleaner started shaking, and she confided that this other cleaner was a regular problem, that ?she does this all the time. I have to do her work; all of it.? I discovered the theft after they left, which explained why none of her work was being done. DUH. The field supervisor came to my home after she was called by the senior cleaner. She looked at the damage to the floor, took pictures, and plainly said, ?Yes, there is a lot of damage here, to the mosaic, and tiles.? She had visited before, when a vitrine display case was ruined when a product was used on it (another no-no written up in the instructions for my home), which caused melting over several weeks, along with TONS of cracks. The pics they took immediately after the fact don?t show the ensuing damage. In all my communications with their operations manager, team leads, field supervisor, etc. asking for at LEAST an offer of restitution, I never was allowed to talk with the owner. They played cat and mousew/me. After waiting for TWO MONTHS I called them once again. The NEW office manager said the owner wanted to come over and see the damage herself. I said, ? I followed YOUR processes, now you need to make this right.? I got quotes for repairs, and FAXed to them on Sept 15. The owner has sent 2 insulting letters; LOTS MORE TO TELL.

They did a good job. The service was good. They were accommodating. They finished in a timely matter and the price that they gave me was reasonable. I would recommend them in the future.

They arrived within the time frame that I was told. They did a thorough job including wiping down the washer/dryer and dusting the high ceilings and cleaning the wood flooring in kitchen and entrance.

The company showed up on time. They did a very good job. They were very courteous when they were there working. They cleaned up everything before they left.

They did a great job cleaning the master bath shower. It had not been cleaned in the recent past by the previous owner and they did a great job of cleaning it. However, they could have done a better job in the kitchen. The cupboards were not wiped out and they didn't clean the oven. I called the manager back and she told me they normally don't clean the oven. That would have been nice to know up front. I asked for a time credit for not cleaning the cupboards and was told to call back after the owner got back from vacation.

They consistently do a good job. I have been getting my house cleaned by various companies for over twenty years and I can say that this company is very professional and competent. The work is always good, in spite of the fact that different staff come in from week to week. They will change my regular appointment if I need them to and were responsive when a problem arose.

Excellent work. Great customer service.

Overall very good. These are hard workers.
