City Wide Fence Co Inc

I would recommend City Wide Fence to others (and I have already). They were punctual with their estimate. Dean did the estimate and also fabricated a segement of metal fencing. His estimate was very thorough. And he did a fanatastic job crafting the metal segment, which involved some complicated angles and turns. It looks great and feels solid. He also was very pleasant to deal with. The guys who installed the fascia were on time and did a first rate job. The fascia really makes the fence look better.

I went with this company, even though another gave me a lower bid, because Brian, who came out to do the estimate, convinced me they would do a better job. But I was disappointed. The wooden gate they built has miter cuts that don't meet and very rough, splintery edges (I had expected they would smooth at least the tops of the boards, where you handle it to open and close the gate). I had to clean up noticeable pencil marks on the wood. I also had to dig out chunks of concrete from where I guess they mixed it to strengthen some loose cedar posts and from my planted borders around those posts--and how do you dispose of those chunks of concrete? Also, wet concrete spattered some of my plants. They did fine on replacing a broken hinge on an iron gate though.

We had a lot of details to cover with Jim to get the fence to look like the existing fence. We also needed the fenced to be dog proof for our 7lb poodle. The 2 man install crew were prompty, capable and considerate.

City Wide did a great job. They responded quickly and I had their written bid within 2-3 days. City Wide was not the lowest bidder (all companies were Angies List referrals and all bids were within 10%) but I chose them because they spec'd a slightly heftier post (4+" x 4+") whereas the other two fence companies spec'd standard 4x4's. The reason the section of fence needed to be replaced was that it gets a lot of wind and combined with the wet weather, over time the fence started to lean. Using a heftier post seemed to be a thoughtful solution. The job went like clockwork. Demolition and new post installation was done in one day, and the fence (with a new gate) was done two days later after the posts had a chance to set. I would use City Wide in the future.

It went great! A pleasure to work with the company from start to finish. Wonderful, professional staff. The fence turned out quite nicely. There was a small problem with the gate latch not working correctly after installed - but they were out the day after I contacted them to fix it. Really could not ask for a more responsive, fair, and quality company to work with. Extra kudos to office staffer, Corinne, who made everything happen smoothly and pleasantly. Thank you City Wide!

On time, very nice, very thorough. I would say the only thing I was frustrated with was that on their website it says they do vinyl fencing. Also when I talked with them on the phone, I also made sure because I needed to do a combination of wood, chain link and vinyl and I needed someone to do all three. When Brian came out, he said their company stopped doing vinyl fencing. They need to update their information because I probably wouldn't have spent the time then knowing that.

The Co was prompt with estimate, the crew showed up on time ready to do the job and the billing was done in a couple of days. I was very impressed wtih speed, obviously these guys knew their job. I was very pleased with the results. It was hard for the to evaluate why their work cost so much for just about an hours work but I was happy the job was done and it was down well. That's why I rated the price done.

It went very well. They were prompt to respond to my request, and Brian met me on the site. He was very professional and courteous as he described what the company could offer. it was late Fall and there were a number of projects ahead of me but he assured me they could do it in the timeframe I wanted it. The deciding factor was price. I was able to get a lower price from an equally qualified company. I would definitely consider using for a separate project.

The estimator came on time and gave a very nice suggestion for the fence. The fence was installed a few days after we returned the contract. It was installed quickly and is very nice-looking. We get nice comments from the neighbors about it. They suggested the right fence for our location, and installed it quickly and professionally without hassle. I would just make the suggestion that if you have a fence installed, you agree ahead of time where the dirt that is dug up in the process is to be disposed of. They did a mostly-good job of finding places around the yard for this, but I wasn't expecting to find the little piles of dirt in odd places, including on top of a small plant I had liked. But I was very happy with this company and would use them again.

They put in a sitter fence. I think that it was excellent quality wood and work. They left about 31/4 inch of opening between the boards like I asked them to for the water to run down hill. They were neat and courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They did not ask to use my bathroom like most people do, when they are working around your house. They let me know what they were going to do and when. It is a family run business and they had good people who worked for them. The only thing I did not like was that they put out their cigarette butts on the driveway when they were through.

They were very good, we had a minor problem and after the work was completed - I waited a couple of days to call them back and they came back immediately and fixed the problem, they explained everything that they did to make it proper. I felt that their prices were a little high, but it was expected.

Build new fence and gate plus repaired old fence. Came on time and completed on time. Excellent workmanship. Easy to work with.

They were very responsive, and were willing to come out the next day. I ended up not doing the project.

Salesman cam out promptly and assessed my needs. We needed to repair and upgrade existing fence to make secure for new puppy. Cost was more than I was expecting but you get what you pay for. Fence was installed promptly and crew was on time and professional. There were problems with a couple of self closing hinges that the company dealt with in a timely fashion. Company representative even told me not to pay the bill until the problems were rectified. Overall, a very good experience. Quality workmanship as well as good reliable people. I will call them again if I need further fencing services.

I am very satisfied with their work. They had it done in the time frame they said they would have it done in. I would use them again when needed for other work.

It was excellent. Everybody was very good that they brought out. They were ever eager to do the job; they completed the entire fence in two days and it looks good.

We didn't select this company because they were the most expensive of the bids we received and the sales representative was my least favorite.

Fantastic experience. They called me twice at work to make sure they were designing everything right. They gave me several options and helped me make the best choice for my design, aesthetic and the property. They took one day to put in posts, then came back and took two days to finish the fence. I love the look and highly recommend this company for their efficiency, creativity and price.

Excellent job. I had changed at the last minute one of the gate configuration and they were very flexible with working with that. They gave good suggestions on completing that. Price was reasonable. Did a nice job. The final product great.

Estimate process was fine, quick and efficient. Took two weeks to schedule it.

I chose this company for this service because they had done three other projects for me in the past with good results. They were on time, nice, and professional. They also cleaned up well. I did receive two other bids for this project. This company's bid was in the middle price wise for their services.

They came out and put in the posts and then came back and started on the fencing. One of the men who was installing the fence suggested that maybe we move one of the posts over because they had to connect to a lower fence and this had an angle that was kind of challenging, to get right so it would not look out of place. They then suggested that we add lattice to the top of the fence. This looks fantastic. It really softens it up and now it no longer looks like we have a stockade in our backyard. They even swept up my patio that had some leaves on for me.
