The fence looks great. The only downside to City Wide was that they were a little slow in making the project happen (they delayed our start time a couple of times) and the garden gate wasn't centered across the path so it looks odd. We'll need to move the path to accommodate the off-centered gate.

I decided to wait as the estimate was more than I had anticipated. Will keep his written estimate and if I decide to complete this project this year, I will contact him and also get two more estimates.

The company representative arrived punctually to provide a bid on the job and did a great job of removing all the old fencing including lots of vines that had grown up through the old fence. The new fence was installed on schedule and looks great. I am especially happy with the gates they installed. They used metal supports for the gates and they have held up very well.

The work crew arrived at 10 AM and worked non stop through lunch. They were very careful to consult with us regarding placement of posts and they did excellent work. It was tricky placement, as the fence needed to wind up an incline. Job well done!

Everything was great. The one man was really really great! His craftsmanship was perfect!

City Wide was excellent. The representative came on the day and time scheduled, brought plenty of photos to help with style selection, and gave a detailed estimate for the project. A crew came on the scheduled day to put up a temporary chain-link fence to keep our pets enclosed, they removed the old fence and installed the upright posts into concrete to set until the final fencing could be installed. We thought we would have to wait two weeks for the final fence, but they had a cancellation and offered to come a full week ahead of when we expected. The crew came and built us a beautiful custom cedar wood fence including a simple arbor over the gate. We love the appearance and the craftsmanship. Our neighbors do too; it's an asset to our whole street.

In preparation of the vinyl fence the workers damaged the main water line to my house. I called a plumber who repaired the break and City Wide Fence promptly took responsibility and paid for the repair. They then continued to install the vinyl fence system and repair my driveway gate without incident. I am very pleased with the results but believe the price for the project to be high. I've used City Wide Fence three times in the past few years to install new wood gates and repairing my wood property fence. Their work is impeccable, and done quickly. I obviously am pleased with their work and will continue to call on City Wide Fence for my future fence needs.

Job was performed exactly as expected, and we enjoy the result!

We selected City Fence after reading strong reviews in Angie's List. They provided a written estimate, and reviewed numerous options with us, so we were aware of the choices we could make. We shared the expense with a neighbor as we share the fence. In one day's work, they tore down old 6 foot fence (53 feet long), placed old fence into large truck, used magnets to find any loose nails that fell onto the grass or walkways, set new posts, built new cross beams, and finalized new fence. 3 guys worked from 9am to 3pm - amazing workers. We're very happy with results. Would strongly recommend.

I called this company and scheduled a time for them to come out to do an estimate. I unfortunately couldn't make the meeting but it was a fence replacement due to my fence being ripped out by a wind storm. I spoke to him on the phone and he had a lot of great suggestions and he asked to email me the quote. I gave him my email address and waited for the quote. After a couple days, I didn't receive he quote and called, then emailed several times with no response. After a week, I had to call someone else. To date, I still have not received an email or call from them. I'm only writing a review because I had to wait yet another week for my fence to be repaired. Some type of communication would have been great so I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting for their reply. UPDATE: They contacted me after my post on Angie's List and forwarded the email they had sent. It appears that I never received their email. I've updated the ratings N/A, but was unable to change the OVERALL experience

City Wide replaced my fence. The old fence was removed and new posts set - I appreciated the work at ensuring the neighbors weren't impacted as a few adjustments were needed to the plan from the estimate. All debris was cleaned up and removed. At installation the new fence was installed on the planned timeframe and done very quickly. Another of City Wide's crew working nearby even came over to help finish up the job. A job well done.

I made an attempt to get someone out to give me a bid. Brian was fairly prompt in his response to me. A couple days later I called him and reached him and he could not have treated me more rudely over the phone. He was resistant and had an attitude and is not the kind of vendor I expected to run into on Angie's List. I joined Angie's List to avoid even having a conversation with contractors this rude.

my husband and i had four different companies give us quotes and we decided to go with City Wide fencing. Dean was the main guy we worked with who listened to our thoughts on what we would like as a design. he came up with three different plans and priced out each one. we went with the more expensive of the three because of its open and more inviting feel it gave our property which is a flag lot and would be easily seem closed in if a front gate/entry way wasn't given thoughtful consideration in its design. all of the guys who worked on our project were polite, punctual and truly seemed to enjoy their work and be proud of it as well. the entire project went well even with a small error in a measurement which Dean corrected immediately with of course no extra charge to us. the gate looks amazing, all of our friends and neighbors agree. we are happy to leave City Wides metal sign on our gate (its off to the side and not hugely conspicuous) to show off their work - thanks City Wide!!

Very prompt in returning inquiry voicemail, coming out the very next day for getting details to estimate. Staff in office very helpful and estimate was right in line with others. Office said we would receive a call to set an installation date, but we ended up calling for a scheduling time after not hearing for couple days. Installers very prompt, professional and courteous, cleaning up all traces of work done on site. Upon completion, we noticed the new gate section wasn't aligned quite right and with one call, they came back out in 48 hours to make it perfect. (only reason for giving a "B" in quality was the redo, but craftsmanship was excellent)

The fence looks great but they used the wrong concrete for summer season. Within 24 hours of our call to report the problem, Mike, the manager, was fixing our parts with the correct concrete. Thats why I still give them A's. It was a quick, no hassle correction with sincere apologies & a follow up. Letter with more apologies & thanks for bringing the issue to their attention so that they could address this with their employees.

They came on time. The price they quoted was the price it was. I had some extras poles put in and they did that for me. They came out a month later to double check the fence. They replaced five boards because they were not happy with them free of charge. This is a huge fence and they checked every board. I thought they were fine but not to them. They were also very good to my dog.

I got bids from the others and City Wide price was the lowest. They were knowledgeable. I was really pleased with the service. I would use them again.

I am almost entirely satisfied. I say almost because I asked for a 4 foot fence, and I got and extra 1 1/2 inches. This doesn't sound like much of a problem, but my elderly neighbor was worried about seeing over the fence while backing out of her driveway and didn't want the new fence to be any higher than the old fence. Sometimes little things matter, but fortunately she hasn't said anything so maybe she didn't notice. Estimating process was fast and easy. Workers came on time and performed well. Fence looks great. This is a good company to work with.

They did have a utility locate done prior to install. They arrived on time, and had the gate cut in and working in 45 mins. Very nice professional installers. Very happy with the work. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to all.

They offered very good customer service and had great workers. They worked well under what others gave me bids for. I would definitely use them again.

City Wide had the lowest quote ($2500 after taxes) of five estimates. They were the only company that actually came out to look at the job, and were very professional from start to finish. The two workers who came out to do the job were timely, did not take corners, and even performed a couple of additional small services beyond what was discussed (without change in price). We were very pleased and would definitely use City Wide again.

Jim arrived on time for the estimate. I had 3 estimates done, and Jim was the only one who really seemed to listen and be clear on what we wanted to have done (rather than taking a look at the job and deciding what he wanted to do). He was also the only one to go on our neighbor's side of the fence, when I suggested he do so, as thiis was primarily where the work had to be done. He provided a fair estimate (least expensive of the 3). Scheduling the time for the workers to come out was easy, and they arrved on time. They did a great job.

The backyard of my new house was only partially fenced and I needed it fully fenced for my dogs. Citywide Fence was one of four Angie's List fence companies I contacted. They were the first to respond to my request and the first to come out to my home for an estimate. Even though all contractors were asked to bid on the same project, Citywide's bid was the lowest. And not by just a little. But since others rated them highly, I decided to give them a shot. Citywide Fence was able to start the work within about a week of me signing the contract. A crew of two completed the job in one day. I was very pleased with the work. The fence is very study and matches well with my existing fence. The materials seem to be high quality. The crew was courtesy and professional. I'm happy I chose Citywide and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.
