Jim was early for our appointment. I showed him the backyard fence immediately. My neighbor who's two doors down got his fence done by the same company therefore I went by his recommendation and contacted Jim. My neighbor and I share the same backyard fence in a small townhome complex. I wanted the same thing as my neighbor which was to add two 4 ft tall fence/doors to divide us from our neighbors. This way, we each would have our own little yard but the the shorts fences would be mobile so the landscapers can open them to mow the backyard all the way through. My neighbor's cost him about $500+tax. Jim explained to me there are a couple things should be done differently than my neighbor's because the my side of the backyard fence was more slanted outward. He quoted me 3x of the my neighbor's costs. I'm talking about a very tiny townhome backyard, about 5 ft by 8 ft. I told Jim right away this quote doesn't work for me. I told him how much my neighbor paid and he told me if it's done by his company that's impossible. After Jim left, I asked my neighbor to email me copy of his receipt. I forward that receipt to Jim's company and asked if there are cheaper options because 3x of the costs for the same type of job is quite outrageous. I never got a response back. I will never recommend this company to anyone because I feel as if the owner thought I was an idiot and would gladly pay that much for a job on a tiny yard.

Job went great. It was performed over parts of two weeks. We had asked for several very small items to be adjusted and City Wide responded immediately. Nice people.

They were replacing the fence between us and our neighbor, and since we need a new back fence, I put a note on one of the fence poles that we were interested in an estimate for our back fence. I liked what I saw with what they were doing with the side fence. My husband works an early shift so last Thursday 9/11/14 he said the fence guys got my note, taking measurements and getting sales guy in touch with me (my husband's words over text.) So far so good. On Monday 9/15 my husband received a rough estimate for rear fence from Brian at City Wide. Basic fence: $3800. Basic Deluxe fence (no lattice): $4000. Deluxe fence (with lattice): $4800. Huh? Honestly I was a little shocked at how much they wanted to build a fence approximately 75 feet wide--the width of our backyard. Come to find out, apparently the fence guy didn't actually measure our backyard, he eyeballed it and estimated it was 120 feet wide, a 37.5% difference. We also alerted them to the fact that the side fence they just completed for our neighbor goes right up to the street and is impeding our ability to see the street while backing out of our driveway. This is not compliant with the City of Bellevue code. Update 9/18/14: The side fence height was lowered today so our ability to see the street from our driveway has been fixed. Also, Brian called me today and we had a good discussion about the estimate. In their efforts to get us a rough estimate in a hurry, it was way off. I stated I would rather that they would have told us they were two weeks out if we could have gotten a more accurate estimate. He has offered to come out to do another estimate for us, and I am satisfied with his explanation.

Bryan came over and emailed an estimate a few days later. He was very easy to get a hold of for additional questions I had before deciding to schedule. Scheduling was straight forward and the two-man crew arrived exactly on time and was finished a little past mid-day. They were very professional and personable throughout the time they were here and took the time to clean up the site after they were done. Two very small issues that made quality a "B" vs. an "A" (honestly it's more like an 'A-'): +Existing posts were cut at the bottom, but this lead to small gaps in the new fence as the boards had to go over the remaining stump. +There were a two or so mis-fire spots from the nail gun where the boards were loose, but I was able to just drive screws in - did not warrant a return visit. I would use them again.

It went very well. I would recommend them to others. I thought that they were prompt, did what they were supposed to do and did it very well. They cleaned up their mess very well and not only did they clean up their mess but they took some of mine. I thought the price was kind of high but I have nothing to compare it with.

What a refreshing experience it was to deal with City Wide. we have had lots of experience lately dealing w/ residential contractors (carpeting, painting, hot water tank, duct cleaning, AV, home inspection, etc.) and City Wide performed at the top of them all. Very professional experience from start to finish; great communication, on time crews, they did what they said they would and the quality of the finished project is fantastic. I got quotes from two other fencing contractors and their unprofessional level was evident from the start (one had a lower price, one higher but based on their front offices I trusted neither). Jim from City Wide was punctual, took everything into consideration and left his estimate with us to consider. If you need fencing and are tired of dealing with unprofessional and incompetent residential contractors then look to City Wide. I highly recommend them.

They were okay. It was a simple thing to do. He said there were some mistakes. I would not hire them again. The people were very nice. The price was competitive. They were very responsive and punctual.

My first experience was kind of a pain a little bit but they made it good. When they dug the post holes, I swear there wasn't a grass blade out of place when they got through with everything and they did a five-star all the way around. They came out quickly. Their price is high but you get what you pay for. They were real good and they have a good reputation.

Services were provided on time and came in at estimated price, o surprises. I chose Citywide due to positive reviews and would recommend them for fence work, although they are not the least expensive option. Great quality work and the fence turned out beautifully.

They promptly responded to my inquiry and came out to do an estimate. Pleased with the price and quality of their work we scheduled them to install the new fencing. | |They arrived as scheduled and completed the work in the time promised.

I looked for a local company and found them highly rated on Angie's List. I looked through their extensive catalog of fence styles and prices and chose the one I wanted. They came out a gave me a quote and scheduled a convenient date. In one day, two men tore down the old fence to cart away and set new posts in cement. About a week and a half later, they came back and built the new fence in one day. The fence looked great. It was a very quick and painless experience. They also gave me advice on caring for the new fence.

It went perfectly. I had wanted a rounded english-style gate. I was very impressed with the latch for the gate; it's a very solid latch. It all looks very professional and they accommodated a hill in our backyard with the fence. They know their cedar fencing. The foreman knew exactly what I was talking about. He showed me pictures and gave me the estimate the same day. We are using them this summer as well.

City Wide Fence Company gave a good quote, then performed an excellent job immediately.

They had a good reputation and it was one of the reasons why I called them out for the bid. The sales rep showed up on time and he was very courteous and professional.I didn't use them because I got a recommendation from another company.

Their response to my request for an estimate was quick. I was given many choices along with the pros and cons of each. My budget was always taken into consideration. The installers arrived at the scheduled time and did a great job. They cleaned up the debris from the old fence and carted it away. The work was performed in less time than promised. I'm very happy with my new fence. Everyone I dealt with at City Wide Fence was personable, knowledgeable, and skilled at their jobs.

They did this in a creative manner and tightened the surrounding posts. Very satisfactory

City Wide was very responsive and did good quality work. My initial contact was by phone to obtain an estimate. The estimator came on the day the promised and emailed an estimate within a day. I wanted to consider the cost of another option, which I received the day after calling with that new request. The work was scheduled for about 2 weeks after I accepted the original bid. I was initially told it would take one day to remove the old fence and posts and re-set the new posts. Then it would be 7-10 days for them to return to build the new fence. After mentioning that we had a dog and needed the fence built more quickly, they agreed to complete the fence two days after the new posts were set. They did the work as promised, and left our back yard spotless after the job. The fence also looks great. When the other portions of our fence need replacement, I would definitely consider hiring City Wide again.

They did a fantastic job from the start. I learned a great deal from the salesman that came out to inspect the job, and their pricing was very competitive. They replaced a new fence that I unfortunately had built by a word-of-mouth "contractor" who turned out to not be licensed or bonded and insisted upon cash payments. It was my fault for not researching him ahead of time, and L&I has now served him with an infraction. City Wide was very professional in their work, they performed to their schedule and budget, cleaned up well, and were very nice to work with throughout the job. I'd highly recommend them. And I love my new fence.

We ended up going with a different contractor, but have a favorable impression of City Wide from our estimating experience with them. One thing a bit different with City Wide is that they want 50% up front before they will start work, and we didn't see this with other contractors.

From quote to payment everything went smoothly. I appreciated the helpful recommendations on placing of the fence, handling of the property line and notification with accommodation of schedule when an unknown underground electrical line was severed. I am very pleased with my attractive security fence.

They came out when they said they would, reviewed options for the fence and how to handle both an existing cedar tree on the fence line that the neighbors wanted to keep and how to handle a difference in height of yards. Provided a quote in a few days. We decided to use another company, as they offered a better option for the tree. I would ask them to quote on future work.

Arrived on time for apporintment, very nice and professional.

Two-man crew arrived a little late, but understandable as prior job ran over time. They made a few suggestions, to help me save some money, which was very much appreciated. Work was completed quickly and was done well. I won't hesitate to hire this company again.

Bryan came out to the house to give a bid on 200+ feet of fencing. Citywide was very prompt and kept their appointment. Bid was received the next day. The bid was higher than other offers - so we went with another company.

We were happy with the service. They cleaned everything up and did an excellent job.
