Description of Work: Installed (2) 4'x6' ornamental metal gates with posts embedded in concrete. Bid was less than the two big home improvement stores contractor installation services and Jim Anderson had good suggestions to keep costs reasonable. Installers were courteous used care to avoid damaging water and drain pipes while digging the post hole next to our house. Cleaned the gates after installation and touched up any dings. Summer is their busy season but it was worth the wait.

Description of Work: Summary of Services: - Tear down and haul away of old fence. - 144.5' of 6 foot fence - 44' of 3.5 foot fence - 4 gates total - Style of fence "mod" Review: Not the lowest of the bids we had done but after reviewing the company and talking to representative (Dean) we were happy to pay slightly more for better quality and services. End cost? Approximately $5,200 after tax. Very knowledgeable, incredibly polite, lots of explanation of services and took great notes on special needs/wants we had for our yard. Came down on pricing on the spot when told comparable competitors had them beat and then again when told it was an even race between them and another vendor after competitor was willing to come down slightly. Was able to start a week later and complete within a week (actually finished a day early.) Highly recommend. Note: The picture shows fence after staining. It should be noted that we did the staining ourselves and did not contract it out to City Wide. Would consider having that priced next time as it is A LOT of work.

Description of Work: Came out to make a proposal, wrote up the bid, advised me not to remove and replace a fence that still had a few years on it, which I appreciated. Instead, they replaced a post on that section of fence. Did remove and replace about 60 feet of fence; the cost being split between me and the neighbor we share the fence with. At my request, they made separate invoices for each of the 3 families involved in the fence repair; I received all of them, and each family paid their portion directly to the company. They were very considerate and did the entire fence in one day - a great thing since 2 of us have dogs. When I discovered a post accidentally left in the yard I called them and asked if they might be in the area, would they pick it up - they came by the next day to get it.

Description of Work: custum fence looks great. best price. estimator was very helpful with design. work crew was fabulous. only problem was a delay in finishing the project on time due to contactor scheduling error.

Description of Work: My free standing wooden fence had rotted by the posts and fell over after a wind storm. It was 13 feet long by 6 feet high. They came within 3 days of the request on the date that I requested. They tore down the old fence and replaced it with a new one with 3 posts. Then they hauled away the old fence. There was a small gap between the fence where it attached to the house (near the ground) so I asked them to add a small piece of wood to close the gap. They did that gladly. Both workers were very efficient and professional. They were very friendly and did a great job installing the new fence. They did a good job of cleaning up. It was a real pleasure to have them do the work. This is the 3rd time I have used City Wide Fence - they installed my original chain link fence and I had them return ta few years later to add on a smaller chain link so my dog would have a small play area. I highly recommend this company. Plus I received a senior discount this time due to my age.
