Description of Work: Bodine installed a french drain system with four catch basins and they tied it all into a large existing storm drain basin. Tony worked on the project and did an excellent job. He had to work around an underground sprinkler system, a koi pond, and some underground electrical. I'm very pleased with the results and it was worth the wait.

Description of Work: They did a great job fixing our leaking basement. They figured out the problem and solved it and our basement has been dry ever since. A+ foundations guys. | |We also had them do some general contracting for us, which was good, but not great. It took them longer than expected. The end product was good, but I would probably not use them for general contacting again. | |If my basement ever leaks again, or if I have any foundation troubles, I would absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: Had huge storm drain problem when they got here, and had no problems when they left. They were on time, pleasant and explained everything. Job well done.

Description of Work: Have had ongoing problem with water in crawlspace. Bodine's 2-man crew attempted to "scope" the blocked outfall pipe, but were thwarted by standing water in the foundation drain line. After several attempts through various openings into the foundation drain, they installed an expansion plug in the crawlspace drain pipe where it exits the foundation under the house. Whereas this pipe is supposed to drain water from the crawlspace, the blockage issue allows water to enter the crawlspace instead. The expansion plug has not completely solved the problem, however it has greatly diminished the amount of water from a foot or more after a heavy rain, to a few inches. (So far, so good.) Still some seepage to be diagnosed and stopped, but plug is holding the deluge. The "B" grade given is mainly due to the pricing. Bodine gave a range for their bid and billed at the high end. Although, in fairness, they were out when a nextdoor neighbor hired them for similar issues and they did attempt to clear blockages which may have helped my problem although they were not successful. They did not charge me for those attempts.

Description of Work: The work crew did not comply with the foreman's work plan. The second time they came back and corrected the placement of a culvert.

Description of Work: They sealed a leaking external fireplace wall, cleaned out drainage pipes, and replaced eroding external piping. We have not had any water leakage since. The only downside is that we had to call them a few times after the project started to ask where they were, but they did call right back and explain a crisis at another client's house delayed them. They could have been a little more proactive in communicating. But I would happily deal with that hassle again because they really did fix our problem adequately at a price that was half as much as what anyone else quoted. They spent ample time during the estimate figuring out what the actual problem was (vs. just suggesting a major expensive drainage overhaul which is what all other contractors did for their quotes). I was impressed by their level of thoroughness and honesty!

Description of Work: Bodine came over and inspected our crawl. Instead of finding work, they told us that things looked good and that we didn't need service at this time but to keep them in mind in the future. That type of honesty is greatly appreciated!
